Experiencia negativa: Went for a causal magic night they were hosting. The had no idea what they where doing. They wanted to do a 9 person commander game, there was not enough room, and the table was leaning so bad that a commander deck would not stand without assistance. Complete garbage.

Experiencia negativa: If I could give zero Stars I would the day after Christmas Asher was beyond awful when we got screwed on two games and she told us and the manager to sell them on Facebook marketplace we came in on Christmas Eve and we bought resident evil for our Xbox we were told that they were compatible with our new game console we did not get the newest one and we did not buy our game console there but we bought the games the wireless controller The game pass spent quite a bit of money they said that they couldn't return the games because they were opened something about copyright infringement which ended up being garbage cuz I came to the Santa Fe location and I was very well taken care of by the manager Brad we didn't even have no direct eye contact she looked like she didn't really care about what we had to say I don't know if it was because of our skin color being a black couple but I felt very out of place I will not be going back to this location because I was very well taken care of at another location with no problem she said if the games were unopened it would have been fine or if it was pre-owned what is the difference between pre-owned and an open game opened is opened and you're telling us about copyright infringement how? Just doesn't make any sense the manager said she worked at Walmart and she's seen copyright infringement being an issue on returning games movies and other things like this I just don't see what copyright has to do with a return she just didn't want to do the return my complaint is on the entire store as well as the person that helped us which is the tall Caucasian heavy set guy because they should have checked when we showed the label as to what we had and the resident evil game was not compatible with Xbox One

Experiencia positiva: The team members are generally friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable. Has a decent selection of games for all current systems, outside of PC - which I don't see many good for anymore (at GameStop specifically). Don't spend too much time looking around when waiting in line though. They've set it up to where all the novelty items are easily visible/available and you WILL leave with a squish mellow or a pokemon cup if you're not careful.

Experiencia negativa: I am deeply saddened and disappointed by my recent experience at Game Stop in Midwest City. This is a place I grew up loving, and it breaks my heart to see it take advantage of a kid who loves it just as much as I did. My son brought in three older games, all in good condition, and was offered a mere $1.80 for all of them. This is not only disgusting but also embarrassing. As adults and experienced professionals, you are the ones we trust to help us make the best decisions. Bravo, I hope you get employee of the month for that. Imagine doing the right and honest thing by saying, “Little man, you should hold on to those three games. All I can give you is $1.80 for them, and it’s not worth it.” What a shame.

I understand only 1 person can do so much, but when i cant ask "whats the price of this" because she leaves for the back before i can, it makes her look bad. Experiencia negativa: I will never return to this location again. I came inside to reserve 2k24 in July a store employee reversed the wrong system and I was unaware until I went to pick up the game. I was told over the phone Thursday they would be open until 10pm but come at 9:45pm once I arrived they were already closed and I couldn’t be help. I went back Friday Bradley the store manager helped me this is when I realized the wrong system was reserved he told me it was nothing at all he could do for me since the game was limited orders he only offered me his online code which he got for free I stayed there two hours with no solution after being a pro member never for over a decade. He told me he called the DM which also said he couldn’t do anything for me but wait and see if someone doesn’t come pick up their copy which they had none left anyways. My boyfriend went to the store the same day and Mandy the assistant manager found him a game that someone never wanted and they knew that from a week ago she also made the inconvenience worth it. How can the assistant manager make a 15 year pro member happy but the dm and store manager couldn’t someone needs a title switch. Mandy was excellent but Bradley the store manager and the DM does NOTHING to make their customers happy even though you’re a pro member and your employee made a BIG mistake.

Experiencia positiva: Still love coming here but I want to just walk out if I see Josh working. Everyone else, especially Russell and Brad (Kevin too) are super cool. Josh just has a stick up his rear end. I was there on the 24th of December, and he was struggling to help a customer decide on Spyro or Crash. Seeing as I've played both, I wanted to help her out. I told the lady about each, and she ended up buying both and thanked me. Meanwhile, our resident hero, Josh, was standing there fuming like I stole his bike or something. Then, the rest of my visit, he refused to make eye contact or say anything to me. Even opened up a register while I was next in line and turned his back to me to call another customer to his line instead of me. Excellent job, Josh. Keep that astounding level of professionalism.

Experiencia negativa: What happened to the midnight release? I called on the 27th of October and they explained that they would be opening their doors at 11pm for the COD release. My wife was at the store at 11:30 and the doors were locked. She waited until 12. Then exactly at midnight she watched them turn the lights off and leave. What in the world? Also previously when I spoke to them about the release date they claimed it would be on the 23rd of Oct. What is wrong with this location? Why are you soo bad at such a simple job. This is exactly why customers hate your stores so much. If it’s not misinformation it’s things like this. So when people question why GameStop is going out of business it’s not a question.

When we got there, they said, the controller had a slight drift and the xbox had either popcorn or bug carapace on the bottom, but wouldn't show us and tried to give us only $24 cash for it. Bunch of ripoff artists at that store on a Saturday.
