Experiencia negativa: Been going there for about a year now selling them collectables, games, and cards but for the past couple months there new staff is horrible. Most of them dont know a single thing about the games or anything else in the store. On top of that the guy that is running it or atleast acts like he is buys all the pokemon cards but when you have something worth a little bit he calls it fake even though he buys other cards from the same set. It used to be a great store but now I wouldn't recommend it to anyone. Management needs to get the old staff back or atleast people like them that enjoyed and knows a little something about the stuff in the store. As of today I dont think I'll ever step foot back in those doors.

Experiencia negativa: Every time we go into the store there is some sort of a problem. When convenient they want to claim they are a pawn shop and charge more than the price marked. Today I was overcharged on a book. I used a credit card for the transaction. I noticed I was overcharged and asked for a credit back on my card but was refused. I was told they would only get store credit and no refund. What kind of a policy is this when they are the ones who overcharged in the first place. I will never set foot in this store again. I am tired of their shenanigans. One star is too high of a rating

Experiencia positiva: I’ve been to this store before and had such a great experience. The staff was friendly, polite, and went out of their way to help me set up my new Wii purchase — I left really impressed. However, my visit today was the complete opposite. The two employees working — a girl with pink hair and a guy with curly hair — seemed completely uninterested in helping. Every question I asked felt like an inconvenience to them. The girl barely looked up from her phone, and both of them seemed bored and unapproachable. It was such an unwelcoming experience that I honestly don’t even feel like going back to use my $5 credit. I almost asked when the other two employees would be working again, because they were so helpful and pleasant in comparison. I left feeling uncomfortable and disappointed. I really hope management is aware, because the difference in service between my first visit and today was night and day.

Experiencia positiva: Whenever I'm in the area I always stop by. It's located in a nice little business strip and easy to spot. The store has a wide variety of video games, movies, and anime items like statues and posters. I found a rare items I haven't seen in the wild in a couple years and the price wasn't outrageous so I definitely picked them up. The staff friendly and was extremely patient with a customer and their child who was continually going behind the counter and messing with things. My wife and kids always find something they want as well like puzzles, and swords. So check em out.

Experiencia negativa: Yall becareful what yall say in game exchange cause I can't go back because I brought a dsi up and sold it to them well they didn't pay me for it they paid my husband for it the whole point is they should have been pay attention well they kicked me out cause I brought up the conversation about the dsi cause at the time I brought up the conversation they were in the process of kicking my husband out cause he brought the same item to the store twice when we first starting selling there we were told they only buy stuff that has a price in the computer so anytime we bring anything up there when that blonde haired girl(suppose to be manager)is there she is very hateful and very mean and she tells us basically our stuff is junk when she is not there the staff look it up in the computer and there is a price so basically my husband got kicked out cause he brought something up there that her staff bought after finding the price in the computer and i got kicked out for supposedly bringing up the dsi in the conversation and the crazy part is I'm not even the one that brought up the dsi my husband is the one that mentioned the dsi cause he was telling the staff that ever since the incident with the dsi she has been really hateful to him and very ugly to him for no reason at all so if that doesn't sound like discrimination then I don't know what does and mind you right we r the only ones she treats like that and another thing is we have never had any kind of trouble with that store until she showed up in the picture once she started working there it has became horrible Mr Nathaniel loyd the ceo of game exchange really needs to step in and get another manager or the skinny guy with glasses he has kinda long hair and I believe he drives the silver Toyota Tacoma he should be the manager he is always polite and if we don't understand something he takes the time to explain it if he can't buy something he will politely explain that the price ain't there he can't buy he is never rude just about everyone else there is very polite but I honestly feel she is bringing the devil out of everyone there it seems like everyone is always frustrated and that's only been since she came in the picture

Experiencia positiva: Regular at the store, and I've got a lot to say. The prices are great, the variety of items in stock is great. The music rotates with employees personal playlists, most aren't good. Speaking of, some employees are good and polite while past ones have sucked. I've sold to them and had an idiot employee not use my credit literally minutes after finishing up my sell-to which took over an hour to do? Couldn't get a refund due to their own policy despite the screw up. Otherwise, the others I've met are chill and helpful. If you enjoy collecting things as a hobby, I'd recommend going, but perhaps bring some air pods with you. They frequently get robbed so be careful at night around the area. People legit just walk out with stuff even during the day.

THEY WILL BURN YOU.. my son opened a funko pop toy I got for his birthday that was used in a box. Yes I didn't think to check it because it was in a box and he didn't mention it. It's their product. I should trust them. This is what my son opened on his birthday. A busted toy. So embarrassing. Missing its nose. Marks all over and its legit broken.. i know the staff.. I asked for an exchange and they said no. I have spent TONS OF MONEY HERE. I WILL NEVER SHOP HERE AGAIN. I recommend all do the same. Save yourself the trouble of thinking you're getting what you paid for and rest assured they do not care. Now I have to buy my son another bday present because this place is garbage... I want to add I don't hold it against the staff they are decent people. But the store is not worth your time. They do not stand behind their product. All I wanted was an exchange.. Unfortunately they don’t care enough about the customers to test the video games or products before accepting them from people. So buying from them is a gamble because if something doesn’t work they won’t give you your money back. That’s scamming people! Returning a game after a few days or because you don’t like the game is understandable for store credit. But if you purchase something that’s broken you should get a full refund. Obviously they prioritize money over customer experience.

I went up there with a phone I bought on 1/4/25 an iPhone 7 plus. I stood around for probably almost an hour just to get told I need to have my receipt which I've returned tons of stuff without a recipt. That's besides the point here's the kicker. I returned the iphone because went home and found the receipt, I picked the SAMSUNG GALAXY A71, as that is what the label said it was. It is actually a SAMSUNG GALAXY A10E. Looked them up and they are obviously TOTALLY noticeably different. I spoke very highly of them for months and months when I moved out here, brought alot of friends there because I truly liked them and most the people there. I spent well over grand with them. And guess what guys any time you return something IT HAS TO BE STORE CREDIT. Anyways long story short they lie about what items are what, they destroy electronics for absolutely no reason. But yeah I am Taylor Ford and I will never step food in that horrible place ever again. I appreciate the time that you guys wasted me today and I appreciate this SAMSUNG GALAXY A10E that was labeled as a SAMSUNG GALAXY A71. I suggest hire smarter people but what do I know. Oh yes I suggest if you go there with a console, RESET IT YOURSELF BECAUSE I HAD MULTIPLE CONSOLES FROM THEM THAT WERENT RESET AT ALL SO. That's my rant I'm done. Thought there was atleast one decent game store left but I obviously found out that there isn't. Just $1,000 too late. Im not even mad, just disappointed. Either they aren't smart OR too greedy. I'm going with the second one L. UPDATE. FULLY SET UP THIS SO CALLED A71 AND HAS WHOLE 23GB OF STORAGE NOT 128GB. ABSOLUTE SCAM.

Went back to get a new one and tested it in store to make sure it turned on before heading home. Get home to play only to find out the hard drive is only 3GB despite me paying for the 320GB model. Absolute swindling disgrace of a store.

I have gone twice in the last month and both times ive tried to buy games they don't have the games i picked twice despite having the cases on display for sale. They're clearly not doing inventory or checking for what games they do and do not have. This store is a complete joke don't waste your time coming here. As a regular customer i am NEVER coming back. *update* Im officially done with this store. I tried to buy a Scream symbiote pop and the cashier removed the tag and tried to charge me double what it's worth. We asked about a manager but the store apparently doesn't have one and we were told a regional manager would be in on Tuesday. We called today and were treated horribly and rudely. They told us they opperate with PAWN SHOP systems and were unbelievable rude. I will NEVER come back to this store. Go to gameware they actually respect customers.

First and foremost, the misinformation provided by the staff was incredibly disappointing. I was interested in purchasing a Japanese PS Vita, which was listed at a reasonable price of $119. I was told that there were four available, and I even left my name and number as instructed to secure my purchase. However, when I returned the next morning, I was told by the manager that there's a waiting period due to some obscure pawn law that I was never informed of. What made matters worse was the complete lack of communication and transparency. I wasn't notified of this policy the day before, which left me feeling blindsided by the manager's refusal to sell the item. The employee who assisted me had only been working there for a week and wasn't trained on this particular policy, so it's unfair to blame him for the mix-up. As important as that rule is, it's ultimately the manager's responsibility to ensure that everyone under him knows and understands the store's policies, especially when they involve sales and inventory. If an item is in the back and can't be sold until 30 days, it should not have been advertised as available for immediate purchase. This experience felt like false advertising, and it's incredibly frustrating to have my time and money wasted in this manner. On a slightly brighter note, the one redeeming aspect of this store is their impressive selection of manga and comics. If you're a manga enthusiast, you might find something of interest there. However, given the overall experience and the lack of customer service, I still can't recommend Game Exchange for any gaming-related purchases. I will be exploring other options for my gaming and entertainment needs in the future.

There was a time I made purchases and forgot my keys at the cash register, the manager (Nick) ran outside behind me to let me know I forgot my keys—before I even realized! Wow! Each time I think of the kindness and empathy of the staff, I become overwhelmed just thinking about how well customers are treated. The reason I shop at Game X Change weekly (and sometimes daily) is because I know I will be provided with unmatched customer service! Experiencia fantástica: If you love video games, (retro, modern, pc) then this is the place, if you like to collect anything from anime to Sci fi, this is your place, I am a big gamer and the selection is ENORMOUS! reasonably priced for used games, new games. My fiancée and I went in and only saw half the the store, again ENORMOUS! Both sales person were very knowledgeable and very nice, I normally don't do reviews, but I had to for this store, for any collector or gamer to know about this hidden gem!

There was not many customers, apparently this store opened March 2022, so I wanted to spread the good news of this place. They gave me individualized attention and he helped switch my batteries and I found out that I needed a new battery. The staff were very friendly and helpful. They only got 4 stars at first for not having their exterior store signage on and no fault to their own but it was chaotic getting there because traffic around here is a nightmare, Goodluck getting there and I'm lucky to find the store. That's where anything negative stops. And because of their customer service and 90 day warranty on my new charger that I bought I feel confident in this place. I didn't feel rushed out or didn't feel weird being there like other stores, game store employees normally don't have good social skills. I want to add that they had ton of used and retro consoles, tons of toys and plushies and stuff that looked pretty that you could decorate your home with and they even had some collectors stuff. I totally will shop here and it took all of 35 minutes to drive here and it didn't seem like I had no closer options where I live but I would shop here if a new shop opened up overnight in my neighborhood. And while I know we could have made more money selling my 10 yo's ridiculous amount of Nerf guns privately, John made it worth it for ME! I have 1/2 my closet back! #WIN Inventory has been replaced w/much smaller action figures! My son asked him (collectively) 1,000 questions (because I wanted him to make this transaction on his own). John not once got annoyed or frustrated. The amount of inventory and wide variety make it fun even for me! Everything is clean, neat, and displayed perfectly. I hope I got his name right, but Keith was super helpful too! And Sam! Well, she's just got this light that pulls you in. Upbeat, friendly. They multi tasked well together- helping multiple customers, answering A LOT of questions, and working on the trade/sell review. A+ guys. I may need to get a 2nd job so I can keep coming back! There are toys, movies, accessories for video game consoles, magic cards, and quite a bit more. The staff is very polite and also as excited about nerdy things as you are. I noticed they didn't really have much in the realms of gaming tables, but this feels more like a store than what local game shops typically feel like if that makes any sense.
