Experiencia fantástica: It was great and it have everything you need
Experiencia negativa: Employees would not help customers waiting in line for over 10 minutes!!! Stopped in last night to buy three items. There was one gentleman in line before me and a family was being helped at the counter. There were TWO employees who were both trying to help the kid, who was selling his game system, fix the battery cover. Not sure why they both needed to focus on this one issue while ignoring the people in line. After an excessive wait time and never being acknowledged I finally just put my items back and left the store. As far as I know the gentleman in front of me is still waiting to be helped... Very poor customer service!

He even pulled out the chase version of a funko i was looking for so I could complete my set. Best experience ive had in a gamestop by far. Give that man a raise.
Experiencia negativa: This is the absolute worst gamestop I have ever been to. They don’t answer the phone. They don’t want to talk to you at all even if it’s the most casual kind of conversation. The employees that work here just seem like they hate their jobs and would rather be doing anything else. Never returning and I encourage you to go literally anywhere else. Terrible experience.

Experiencia negativa: I recently purchased a game online that arrived with noticeable scratches and was unreadable it wouldn’t even play. To avoid additional shipping costs, I returned it in-store. Despite the product being clearly defective, I was only issued a partial refund. Extremely disappointing customer service I won’t be shopping with this retailer again. Smh

Experiencia negativa: Had a guy named Joseph try to pull a fast one on me. I paid for a preowned Switch OLED and he boxed up a preowned regular switch. When I pointed out that it wasn’t a OLED he was very combative and insisted it was. I pointed out the difference in screen size, logo, dock, and SKU number, however he kept pressing me even going as far as saying “I’m the one who works here”. I told him that I’m not taking home the regular switch that he packed up for me and he said “I don’t know what to tell you”. I finally insisted on a refund and he promptly found a OLED Switch for me.
Experiencia negativa: Says they open at noon. Gates are still shut at 12:10. Employee finally walks from their car to the door, goes in and shuts the gate behind them. Amazed this company still exists.
Experiencia negativa: Why is there not an option for “NO STARS”The children that work here are not trained on their own software. They sold me an item that wouldn’t work with my console and then wouldn’t exchange it because I didn’t have a receipt. I didn’t have a receipt because the child that helped me, didn’t give me one. The store is an absolute cluster and the adolescents working here are pathetic. I am grateful there’s a GAME WARE in front of it. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY HERE!

Experiencia negativa: I've been to many gamestops across the country. This is one of the messiest, dirtiest gamestops I've seen. Trash and bits of everything on the ground. No open signs, nor are the gates rolled up all the way. Very uninviting. Whoever runs it should be ashamed, especially since headquarters is closer. During checkout, the staff didn't ask me for my pro member number. When provided, she then said I didn't have one. Told her to search again. And it came up. Ridiculous management. Store needs a new manager and a vacuum

Experiencia fantástica: The fam and I had a great experience at this game stop location! Lots of fun things for the kids to look at and the have some great deals up right now. I found a great deal on Nintendo Switch controllers, including a Nano switch controller which is a mini version and great for small hands. Got it for $15 and some change. The various prices I found the 4 controllers added up to average out to $31.00 before tax per controller. So a good deal. Customer service was excellent, the stuff knew their stuff and they even tested the PS5 controllers before we purchased one. They engaged in conversation with all of us and took the time to answer every question. P.S. There's a lot of super Mario movie Merch out at game stop

I had an issue with the game attempted to handle it in Chalmette the man literally told me he couldn't help me I jad to drive back to BR, whatever arrived and when I say that for as long as my children have interest in video games I will make the drive from Chalmette to deal with this particular store. I wish I had got their names when I say the BEST customer service I mean that!

A GameStop 3 hours away I have trying canceling the order online I keep getting a error and I have called the store over 100 times trying to cancel no one has answered and service customer agents can not help me cancel the order. My son loves his Nintendo switch & the staff is always helpful & courteous; but this week we tried to go, late afternoon, & there was a sign on the door that said “out to lunch, be back soon”… We waited about 20 minutes and no one ever came back. We left to run some errands and came back about a half hour later and still, no one. As we were about to leave the parking lot a worker showed up just to completely close the shop for the day when I believe they’re supposed to be open till eight or nine. Made for a very disappointed eight year old, as well as a very frustrated parent.

Experiencia negativa: I preorder Hogwarts Legacy for PS4. Went there today at 12. Tried to explain the situation. I was cutoff from finishing my sentence. Made it as if I was rushing him. All I wanted to do was explain that I wanted to get the deluxe version of the game. Which is only $10 more. Instead of calling another associate like he did when he didn't know where the game was to begin with. He instead simply told me he couldn't do that. So I asked for my refund and decided to purchase the digital deluxe edition from PS store. Reason for the low stars is because it was obvious this guy wasn't trained. He didn't know where the games were and he didn't even know how to refund me my preorder. So he called another associate on the phone to learn it. But he couldn't learn how to hear a customer out and resolve the situation. He wasn't extremely rude but he wasn't focused on a customer resolution either. I should have left the store with an available deluxe edition of the game like I actually wanted. But it's all good paid extra for digital and am satisfied with that.

Just brought my son a ps4 the controller wouldn’t connect so I went in the store and asked for help I wanted him to set the game up for me he simple said he couldn’t and brushed me off went to seigan lane GameStop got the game setup with no problems at all. Just didn’t think that was right since I brought the game from here.

Experiencia fantástica: Went into this GameStop after not being in one for at least 2 years expecting it to be a straight forward go in, purchase, go out, taking maybe 3mon tops. Was in there for at least 10min & on top of that the employee informed me they did have the item I wanted within a min of me entering!! So much cool and different stuff/items from figures, clothing board games etc.. My only wish was that the all them new different items were a bit cheaper (maybe just because I could purchase more). Experiencia fantástica: Power to the player! Gamestop is one of the last places that you can get physical releases. I have great memories of this place from college and will always have a soft spot in my heart for Gamestop. As they transition into a digital business I can only hope the location at College Dr. remains open for years to come.

Experiencia positiva: They have a decent selection of ps4 & Xbox games, but don't have much for the 3ds. The staff is polite but wayyyyyy too pushy. There could be a line of 8+ people waiting, & the cashier will spend way too much time trying to upsell, & have personal conversation. I felt really bad for the people waiting in line behind me. It is nice to have personable cashiers, but when people are waiting to check out, I feel like the process should be sped up. Also, prices on games, even older ones, have gone up a bit. You can get the same game on ebay for 5-10 dollars less.
Experiencia positiva: No GameStop will be perfect cause they are always such small crowded stores, but I love going into them, especially this one. Couple years ago we waited for the Red Dead Redemption 2 release and they were so professional and organized it really made it much more fun! Staff is very knowledgeable and gives great recommendations and loves to have conversation with you.
