Experiencia negativa: Went in with à red ps5 controller to get replaced with the insurance I paid for and they gave me a white one that was not working . I go the next day and ask they guy to give me a black one now says it cost $15 more cause it's black . They cost the same new why would the price change when they are refurbished? Why were they okay with giving me a white one for a red one but not okay with giving me a black one for a white one? What a freaking scam ! Doesn't even make since . On top of that the white one they gave me this time also has a button that sticks . Scammers ! Unfair . Doesn't even make since ! I'd understand if I'm asking for a metallic or special color . Absolute scammers !

Experiencia fantástica: Michael was awesome! He answered the phone when I called let me know they had copies of battlefield 6, and that there would be a copy when I arrived, had a terrible experience at the 5043 Park ave location, they didn’t even treat me like I was human. Michael was awesome and even convinced me to renew my power up rewards membership! He’s a great dude and the store was run well and looks great! loving the new Battlefield 6 by the way hope call of duty learns after this!

Experiencia negativa: I came in to return a game my son purchased, and the feeling i got was that the employee did not want to return the game. He asked for last name and first name for the order since it was purchased online. He said he could not find it on the database. He then asked for an email address, and again, he"couldn't find anything in the database. I asked if he could use my order number, and he said no. He needed a confirmation number. He said they were different. During this entire conversation, he was vaping in front of me. He said he couldn't help and to call customer service. I asked him if he could call, but he said I could call. I asked him for the number, and he pulled out his phone and Googled the number for me. I cake customer service and got a call back service waiting for 20 minutes. I then went online and puked up the order from game stop. I showed him the order, but he said he needed a receipt. I asked is this not a receipt, and he said no. Again still vaping. He proceeded to call another store, he explained the situation, meanwhile calling certain steps of showing him validation "stupid". Everything is provided was not enough. He said i would need to call Costner service to get a confirmation again. He also mentioned i would need to talk to his boss in the morning, but he said his boss would not be able to help. So I went home and cake customer service again, since I never received a call back. Customer service was able to look up the the order with the same information I provided with no issues. They provided a refund and said I could keep the game. One of the worst customer service in store interactions i have experienced. Not friendly, vaping, caring my situation stupid, not willing to help. I would give a zero if I could.

Experiencia negativa: So, this is for this location(Wolf Creek), and the one on Stage Rd. in Bartlett. I went in to pick up my preorder for a game today(that I paid in full), on my way to work at the Stage location, to be told they only got one in and they already sold it to someone else. That was pretty irritating, but the girl did call the Wolf Creek location, they said they had plenty of copies, she asked the guy to hold one for me, told him the situation, printed me another receipt, gave him my name and a description of me. So I drive to Wolf Creek, it’s almost a hour past opening, but the closing gate mostly still on, and I had to wedge in the door. Dude pulls out the game and tries to charge me again. I told him that it was fully paid, but he said it didn’t matter, that if I paid in one store, I had to pick it up there….ok, that’s odd, but why send me there and tell the other GameStop it’s cool, but refuse to give me the game unless I paid for it again. During this “disagreement”, I was told he can’t do anything, because he’s a part timer, talked down to me like I was a idiot, and said he could call his boss…which I said sure, call him. Which he didn’t do of course. When I said “what should I do? Just go back to Stage and complain to them again” (knowing it wouldn’t get me anywhere), he said something to the effect of “yea, do that”. So I went back to Stage, and got a refund. I mean, I’ve been a loyal GameStop customer and a pro member for over 20years. I might’ve had one other minor problem in this time, but this was hella frustrating. I very much prefer physical copies, but this has really started to change my mind. Why sell me a preorder and sell the only copy? Why talk to someone and then send me somewhere else, when they refused to honor my preorder? When he had plenty of copies? Why couldn’t they talk to the other store, take my receipt and zero it out in their system? Why hire someone so condescending?

Experiencia negativa: Absolutely terrible experience. Guru was awful to deal with. He had a bad attitude and was on the phone the entire time while dealing with me and every customer. I was there for an hour and a half because he would not finish one thing without starting another. At one point there were 4 people “checking out” at once. I’ll not to another GameStop next time.

Experiencia negativa: The manager, who told me he is also the manager at the Wolfchase mall location, was absolutely no help to us at all.They day after the purchase, we tried to return the Nintendo switch we bought but we were denied our request because we opened the box. Mind you, it’s still brand new, we simply opened the box looked inside and decided it’s not what we thought it was, and we wanted to return it. because we shopped at GameStop, we were left with no choice but to keep the item. The manager, whose name is Chris, referred me to customer service, and their customer service referred me back to the store after an hour of waiting. We spent over $400 with them and we felt that their sales practices were lacking and deceptive. The reason why we thought this, was because we were not told about the return policy for the item that we purchased. We were expected to have known it all by ourselves just because they have it on their website and because they include it in the small verbiage of the 18 inch long receipt. Absolutely no customer care or Service to be found. Classic GameStop screwing us over. I haven’t gamed in a long time, but this experience has made it to where I’ll never go back to GameStop again. Don’t shop at GameStop! get what you need at Walmart or Amazon instead, and let GameStop go the same way blockbuster and RadioShack went. into our memories.

Experiencia negativa: The staff members are decent. However, I bought 3 used games. 2 worked fine, but the last one was all scratched up, had sharpie on it, and had a chip in it. I tried to download it into my Xbox console and it wouldn’t download. Be careful when buying games here, as you need to check them to make sure they aren’t damaged, that was my mistake.

Experiencia negativa: I can see that this place has high reviews, so maybe i just had to deal with one bad apple, but i was trying to pre order a game here and have it sent to another location since i will be away from home for work when the game comes out. The guy i spoke to kept on making excuses to why he doesn’t want to do that because it will hurt their stores numbers. If pre ordering a game at one store for another store is the only option when you can’t do it over the phone then there shouldn’t be a pushback when that was the option given to me.

Experiencia fantástica: Living a bit far out this GameStop is the closest to our location. I've never been disappointed with the service and this time was not an exception. Joshua (Josh) was outstanding in his service and completely understanding. He was patient and was willing to stay afterhours to solve the issue if needed. You don't see good customer service like this these days!

Experiencia positiva: Edit: I have to edit this and take away 1/2 a star because last time I went in, the solo employee was giving a plubic job interview to someone. I am not sure if this is becoming a thing, but it's super awkward and kinda weird that this was happening. There were about 4 ppl total in the store and then the guy being interviewed and the employee. She kept having to stop to help the other people and then when checking us out, he's standing next to us and she asks him, so what is your favorite game and try to sell it to me. He just stares at us and nervous laughing and fumbling for an answer. I don't think anyone should have to do that in public. I get it's a public job but man, come in before or after a shift if you have to interview someone. GameStop is pretty much a go-to place to grab any current modern collectibles and video games and gaming accessories. Their prices are pretty high but the quality is always good.

However, these two ladies were incredibly helpful. They printed off a list of games he would be interested in while also researching what those games entailed. Now this particular GameStop is very different in the fact that it is collectors location they have absolutely the largest collection of collectible items that you could ever ask for. I recommend going here not just for the people not just for the games but also for the vast inventory that they hold in their collectibles. If you are a person who enjoys having collectible items or for that matter some exclusive items that will make your friends very envious of you you should definitely visit this location.

Experiencia negativa: LAZY STAFF DO NOT SHOP HERE MANAGER AND EMPLOYEES DO NOT CARE ABOUT CUSTOMER SERVICE All this guy had to do was type in the computer "HTC Vive" and he would've seen that they do carry the product and that it was available at another location. came to this store as it is the closest to my home looking to purchase $500 htc vr system. onsite employee told me they didnt have any in stock first time I came in. So I went out to my car looked it up and came back in 5-10 minutes later. asked if the product could be ordered because other retail stores were having backordering issues. The employee in a white shirt working Sunday 8/12/18 told me word for word "We don't even carry that item so we can't order it." I told him it was on the site but I understood and would continue to look else where. had he done his job and looked the HTC Vive VR system up he wouldve seen that they do carry it and they can order it. I called another location in bartlett they had the last remaining system in memphis for $500. I immediately drove out and picked it up. called wolfcreek and asked to speak to the employee that had tried to help me so that he could help someone else if they have the same issue. upon being handed the phone when he discovered I was just correcting him he hung up on me. I hadnt cursed I wasnt being mean I wasnt asking for a manager I was trying to make sure a $548.74 mistake wasnt made again by updating his information. I called back angry that I had been hung up on and yes I was cussing by the time I got a hold of the manager. this store is completely unprofessional comes off very very very lazy and rude to consumers. Being hung up on by an employee and a manager because I'm trying to address issues I had as a customer of your store? No I will never spend my money here ever again this place needs new staff and I will tell everyone I meet to avoid it like the plague. I called other stores to see if they knew they carried HTC Vive VR product the Mall Gamestop, the Cordova Gamestop, the Bartlett Gamestop, and the Germantown Gamestop all were fully aware that they carried HTC Vive VR system & had no issues with me inquiring about the product.
