Experiencia negativa: Heard the worker say that he doesn’t feel safe with me looking at the cards and tell me I have to stay at a distance (I’ve came to this GameStop many times before and never had this problem) they had a worker come out and follow us out the store when we left thinking we didn’t see him. the lady was very rude at the register. We came in to get a card graded. She put it in the sleeve for us and damaged the card not even apologizing and act like nothing happened when she damaged it. This was really bad and embarrassing experience would never go there again. Wish I could give zero stars.

Experiencia negativa: I am done with this store and potentially GameStop as a company! Very pushy on the warranty, even going as far as lying about the exchange policy, only for me to correct him. The store was a mess, and when I asked for a bag, he said that they didn't have any. It's fine if you guys really don't have any, but he gave off an impression that he didn't care. His demeanor was so unwelcoming. Make customers feel valued if you want them to shop here. Don't just wave them over to your counter without speaking a word. You guys want to hit numbers? Then perform like you actually care! I usually buy into warranties at stores simply because of their welcoming and exceptional customer service, even if I don't believe I need it. I will be boycotting this location for sure! Maybe even the entire company. Guess it doesn't matter because if you walk into this store, it almost looks like they're shutting down, or maybe they just don't care.

Either cancel the order immediately or DONT HAVE IT LISTED AS AVAILABLE. Embarassing behaviour. 0 stars if it were possible.

Experiencia negativa: This is the last time I will ever buy a video game from this specific location focused on selling video games. My mom and I have had several issues with this gamestop because most of the employees here are terrible and don't do their jobs very well, but this was the final straw. about a week ago at the time of writing this, i was at the mall this location is at with my friends and i went here to try to get a physical copy of pokemon scarlet as a holiday gift for a family member so I didn't have to do it any time later, and the guy at the front desk took a while to find a copy, which was fine but all he could find was a used copy without a case, and I told him like 2 times that it was fine that it didn't have a case but he ended up just grabbing another case and taking the cartridge and paper out of it and putting my cartridge in that case. and by the time I had paid, I hadn't even been able to see the cartridge up close, and when I looked at it, it turned out that the guy working there gave me a copy of pokemon violet (which is the version I have) instead of pokemon scarlet. I'm not entirely outraged by this, since what i got is basically the same exact game with some mildly insignificant differences, and the family member i bought it for has little to no exposure to mainline pokemon games (we mostly play the pokemon card game together). they're most likely going to be happy with it, which makes me happy. However, I can't not talk about what that employee could have done in this situation instead of handing me the wrong game without warning. I'm going to assume when he was looking for the game he was barely paying any attention, and this gamestop puts all their pre-owned games including nintendo switch game cartridges (which are much smaller in comparison to game CDs) in single paper CD cases, so if this is the case I don't entirely blame him. But if he was paying attention, he could have just told me that he couldn't find a copy of scarlet but they did have a copy of violet and I would have bought it just fine and this review wouldn't exist. I don't really know what else to say anymore besides don't do serious business involving video games with this specific gamestop location.
Experiencia negativa: horrible service cant even get a game thats cheap beacause of the dude thinking im under 18 even though last year i had to not get MK11 cuz i was 17 yet a year later cant get a assains creed game because the lame at the front desk wants to inforce the m for mature audiences rule all the sudden like its 80s this place genuinely needs new workers because the same dude has denied me to buy 2 games that ive played different versions of as well they rather sell all the toys than actual games .

Experiencia negativa: Review is for Des. Your co-worker thinks you're trash, but I'll get to that later. Des snuck on the $5 warranty onto my purchase without mentioning it at all. I know it was deliberate because I traded in 4 games and I when I asked what the individual values of each item were, she instead talked about how much I was saving, and what the grand total was. I had to tell her forget those numbers, give me the numbers I'm asking for. The little touchscreen that verifies purchases wasn't scrolling so I didn't see the $5 warranty until after the receipt printed. I had to get a refund from her co-worker. What a waste of time. Just get better Des, rather than trying to snake someone out of $5. When I told her co-worker what happened, her co-worker said that's the typical trash she has to deal with every time they work together. When I came back the next day to pick up my game (it was a pre-order), I looked Des in the eye and told her not to do that again. To me, or anyone else. She said she thought she told me about the warranty. I told her no, you just did it because you thought you could get away with it. Then after that, she read this review and really contemplated if it was worth trying to play someone.

Experiencia negativa: Don’t come here, manager is rude and always on a power trip trying to force customers to buy a membership. I’ve been harassed twice now by “Miranda” who claims that you NEED a membership to place preorders or buy items. This “manager” started yelling and throwing a tantrum in the store and in front of other customers. The situation got so bad that a witness even told me to start recording. When I asked to speak to their district lead, they were aggressive and refused to give me information. You’ll be told lies and treated poorly here. Go to other GameStop in the area that have way better customer service.

Experiencia negativa: My husband tried to inquire about his preorder and found it had been cancelled back in October. He explained to them that he had not cancelled it on our last visit but had been informed at that time that the release date was being pushed back and he said that was ok that it was pushed back. The gentleman helping us was very nice and tried to be as helpful as possible, but he was new so he had to get help to confirm the order really was canceled. He called over this lady that said that she was the one who canceled it (which she wasn't even there on our last visit) and if she canceled it, it was because my husband wanted to cancel. My husband and I both said that he never asked to cancel back in October and was told that the original order had to be replaced for the push back of the release date. We had to redo the preorder for the game today. This is not the first time we have had issues with preordered games at this location. I am grateful to the one new guy who helped us at the register but the rest of the staff was rude and disrespectful. One employee who was setting up poster displays hit me with one while I was browsing the funko pops and either didn't realize or didn't care enough to apologize, the lady arguing with my husband about whether or not he cancelled, and then another employee's backhanded comment as we were finishing paying. He told the lady " it's funny when men try to argue with you." Other than the preordered game that my husband put a deposit on today (Again!!!) we will no longer be visiting this GameStop and Highly advise the same for other people.

The first time, the delivery was delayed, tonight, it’s because the game is buried in the stacks of boxes bisecting the store, and for the second time in a row, my man Henry has just been standing behind the counter doing nothing, while the other employees try to triple-task. At this point, I come here for the same reason I still call my alcoholic friends from high school, I feel guilty that it’s falling apart and I don’t want to see it die, but Target is right there. May be time for this game to…stop. (Get it?)

Experiencia negativa: I went in to get My pre order for call of duty black ops 6. A game I pre ordered at another gametsop on curtner that closed recently and when I waited in line for nearly 45 mins I was called a liar by the employee I can't recall her name but she had red hair and was heavy set and seemed to be training another nice younger lady. It was upsetting to be treated this way as a paying customer after a phone call was made and my gamestop account verified by the younger lady. The situation was settled and I got my copy. So it was all unnecessary for me to be called a liar in front of other customers when a simple phone call sorted everything out. I now understand why most gamestops are closing down. I will never shop at another game stop again when it's way to easy to just buy my games through Playstation network and download from home. The training for employees at gamestop has been notoriously horrible over the years and everything is overpriced anyways.

She went above and beyond and deserves a raise. This was the best customer service i ever had at GameStop or any other game type store.

I went in looking for a PS4 controller (I know.. good luck with that, right?) and was loudly barked at within two seconds for not wearing a mask when for weeks I didn't have to in this and many other stores. Listen.. you want a mask on people? (stupid as I personally feel that is). Then tell them politely just as you would say anything else politely. Don't treat them like enemies for God's sake. We're not snipers. Just customers. I left. I won't be back. Very simple. This is the type of store whose majority of inventory can be found online elsewhere so they should really push the service end of it.

Experiencia negativa: Although the staff at this particular location is a pleasure to talk with, the store itself leaves a lot to be desired. A large part of the store is crowded with toys and other video game merchandise that takes up space which could have been used for a larger variety of actual games. The prices on games aren't great either. With sites like steam, Amazon, and even Sony's, Microsoft's, or Nintendo's own digital marketplaces constantly having great deals on their games, GameStop is a relic of the past when it comes to their prices and deals.

But if you get the power up rewards in one level or the other, you can save a lot by getting 10-15% off used games and the same percentages more when you trade in old games. Resulting in money saved if you're doing a decent sized transaction. Plus the magazine subscription is cool if you're into gaming mags/news

Experiencia negativa: Manager Jesus basically says we don't want your money. Shopping this store there was a listed brand new price of Mario party island tour for 19.99 but then asked to pay 24.99 for a used copy. When I asked for an explanation the best answer I got was that there was a sale and we were too lazy to take charge of the store. Instead of meeting me at the incorrectly posted price it was determined that one customer isn't important. Thanks Gamestop you lost a customer for life.
