Experiencia fantástica: Wow. What a great team at this store. Maliq was the MVP who spent hours helping me trade in a ton of old products and was incredibly helpful and patient and overall great. I’ll absolutely be coming back.
Experiencia negativa: Pretty disappointing experience at this GameStop. Mendi was on her phone the entire time and seemed completely uninterested in helping customers. On top of that, she had a noticeably mean attitude toward her coworker, which made the whole interaction uncomfortable to watch. Meanwhile, her coworker was knowledgeable and trying their best to help three different customers at the same time. They were clearly the only one actually working and doing their best to keep things moving. Big credit to them for holding the place together
Experiencia negativa: I remember walking in and i guess they looked at my shoes or whatver and didnt wanna greet. I have retail experience and the manager gave me a memorable convo about how I couldn't get a certain controller for cheaper just beause he couldn't and he was a manager. What does it matter? If i ask, hey casually, my birthday was yada yada and I was fishing for a deal, work with the customer or talk to em better not like I'm trying to do something illegal. Perjudice still exist.
Experiencia fantástica: This was my first time at this location and Cleo helped me with my entire transaction. I was there to trade in a PS5 & Xbox Series X for a PS5 Pro. Cleo was the only person on staff at the time and he did a fantastic job of wearing different hats. He was testing my consoles while also ringing up other customers, answering their questions and appraising another seller's wares. He did a wonderful job overall. I felt bad for him because he didn't have any help, but he handled the situation with patience, diligence and kindness. I am very pleased with my experience here.
Experiencia negativa: Check your game cases when you buy the games! Went there tonight and bought a game for our Nintendo Switch and went to open it up to play it and lo and behold NO GAME! And of course being me I didn’t save the receipt so I’m just out that $40.

Experiencia fantástica: I was having trouble connecting an old gaming console to my new television. I called the GameStop in the Hulen mall and spoke with Will. He encouraged me to bring in my equipment so he could troubleshoot the problem. He was extremely patient and tried several options to help pinpoint the problem. Even though he did not have an immediate solution (because my console is really old), he referred me to a specialized repair store to help me. It was a pleasure to work with someone who was so helpful!
Experiencia negativa: A worker at this location was so rude his name started with will he had other side cover so I couldn’t see he was asking me questions if I’m good but I just wanted to get my games and go home he was rude while I was trying to purchase some games took me out of the line this is disappointing. Never coming tho this location
Experiencia negativa: Was excited to pickup my pre-order copy of Echoes of Wisdom, but when I went to pickup my copy the sales associate told me that the games were still in a box and sales associate hadn't had a chance to find the box where the new Zelda games were located. It's inexcusable that a new Zelda game is not ready to be sold to the public on the day of release!!
Experiencia negativa: Seriously? There was a fully marked and REAL sticker that said 27.99 for a game. They went ahead and INSISTED it was 39.99. Unbelievable. Im sorry, that is false advertising. I was trying to be polite but I couldn't get behind how ridiculous it was. I found it elsewhere.

Experiencia fantástica: NOAH was AMAZING and he actually is a firm believer in keeping a customer happy. He did just that and deserves a raise. I went in with an issue and he did everything in his power to fulfil what I needed in the store and even said its my job to make a customer happy. Although I would say this much the CEO to this company is not good and he needs to step down because some of his policies are wrong. Thank you NOAH for your help and great customer service.
Experiencia negativa: Don't bother pre-ordering from this location, they won't fulfill them. I pre-ordered Umbreon from here. I went to pick it up on its drop date, and was told "we're short-staffed and haven't unpacked our boxes, come back later." Next day I came back only to be told "We're sold out. Some employee put them all on the shelf, and we're out now." Great lack of management and planning going on at this location.

The moment we stepped through the front doors to the time we stepped out, it was a great customer service experience! Guy named “Moon” greeted us and helped us there whole time. He was very informative, talked and communicated well and professional, and even joked with us some. It’s employees like that who make us want to keep coming back! Great job Moon, look forward to seeing ya again
Experiencia negativa: I would never come back to this location! Ever!!! The man with the full beard and glasses, that is big in size continued to not only curse out in public and around his employees. I felt disrespected and disgusted while I over heard him making jokes about ladies body structures or how he could hit that and get that any time. I watched the other employees look uncomfortable and a bit distraught for how he was speaking, I felt very bad for that they had to deal with him. I was able to catch his name before I walked out the store His name was Carlos I believe if I heard correctly.

Young is no excuse for bad customer service at 5 on Thursday

Experiencia negativa: My husband recently purchased a new xbox and elite controller. Spent over $700 in store and the "A" button on the controller does not work. I have tried calling several times and so has my husband. We live over an hour from the store and weren't sure if we need to exchange it at the store or contact Microsoft. No one will answer the phone. We get a message that all employees are helping other customers and please call back. I have called 5 times myself. Very unhappy with the customer service and not being able to get an answer.
Experiencia fantástica: I visited a location in my area on Burleson Blvd to trade up my son's PlayStation 4 to PlayStation 5. The young man that assisted me at the location stated that he could not find in his record of my purchase of the PlayStation 4 and could not process a trade in. He stated that the manager would have better luck with locating the item in the system. And I have to add the I'm a pro rewards member and we have purchased a lot of merchandise over the years. I offered to purchase the console without the trade at this point so my trip would not have been in vain only to find out that they had the digital and not the disk version of the system. I was very disappointed, first I was never asked the question prior to him going through the whole process if I was looking for disk or digital and second the inconvenience that it caused me waiting to still not be satisfied. Got in my car to call another nearby location on Wilshire in Burleson that informed that he also does not have any disk consoles but told me the Hulen Mall location has one in stock. I thank the salesperson for the information, I thought he displayed great customer service going the extra mile telling me that. When I contacted Carlos at the Hulen Mall, he did confirm that he had a disk console but that the mall will be closing in thirty minutes. I told him that I was coming from Burleson, and he offered to wait since the doors doesn't lock exactly at 8pm. I made it to the location with 15 minutes to spare, Carlos was amazing, he was able to do the trade of my son's PlayStation 4, and although he did not have the PlayStation bundle, we still were able to get a new game that he wanted with the purchase of his PS5, and it cost less money. Thanks again Carlos at the Hulen Mall Location, you turned the whole bad experience to a great one!!!!!!!

I called several stores looking for an item that has been sold out everywhere. I couldn't even buy it online. Hulen was my 7th call and they had 1 left, she was willing to hold it for me. So grateful there are still nice people in customer service

At the end feel the pressure of a gamestop membership that you will barely use but still subscribe to because you know the cashier is under pressure from middle management to push. They are always helpful, and excited to tell you of a new game coming out that might fit your personality or gameplay style. I would always recommend gamestop to anyone, unless of course they are a PC gamer. As most PC games, are purchased online these days.
