Last time I was there...I think his name was Tre...was the funniest and most helpful person in there. lol that warranty for the controller was clutch. Nowadays the people in there now are robotic and stiff...what happened to this store, where is everyone ?

Experiencia negativa: Honestly one of the worst experiences at GameStop I’ve ever had. Clerk was incredibly rude to not only me but other customers and just genuinely seemed like he did not want to be there. I was trying to trade stuff in and I just took my stuff and left. I’m in disbelief.

Experiencia fantástica: So, I went to the GameStop on Altamesa on 3/12/26… Never again. The person at the desk there was NOWHERE near as friendly or helpful as Dianna from the 5900 Hulen location! Dianna not only QUICKLY resolved my issue, and other simple questions I asked, she did it all while multitasking and helping others in the store with a friendly smile! She gave amazing advice on warranties that made sense to me and went on to get them on both items I purchased! THANK YOU Dianna for simply being nice, extremely helpful and professional! It truly made my previously frustrating day an amazing one!

Experiencia fantástica: Went there for the first time and the cashier(Steven) was such a great person, made the experience much more memorable, he even picked out a lucky yugioh pack for me. He also gave me sleeve just in case I pulled something nice.
Experiencia negativa: This store had a sign out the night before stating they would have 50 of the Mega Evolution booster bundles in stock. We waited outside for nearly 2 hours just to be told by the guy that they "couldn't find" 25 of them in the morning. One of the other people in line questioned the employee about it and was told to just check a different Store. Don't waste your time here for releases.

Experiencia fantástica: I had a great experience at GameStop! The store itself was really cool, and Tre made the visit even better. He was very knowledgeable about games and took the time to answer my questions. On top of that, he helped me sign up for the Pro Membership, walking me through the benefits and making the process easy. I even pre-ordered some games while I was there! His friendly attitude and expertise definitely made the experience enjoyable...I’ll definitely be coming back.

This store is one of the few left that has genuine games and genuine people who help you find what you’re needing or looking for. Honestly. The store manager Alex really puts a peg in the ladder of leadership. That man handles the releases like a pro. He’s honest and fair. Thank you guys so much!!

Experiencia negativa: Wow! This place has gone way downhill. For some reason, they keep getting rid of the good ppl and just replacing them with warm bodies. No greeting walking in. No help with products. Waiting to check out and give YOU my money is wild. I’m not sure what this location even carries anymore, not a lot of variety in collectibles or accessories. I hope they recover. If they do, I’ll update.

I go in there so much the workers Nick and Vishnu know my tastes and are always friendly, knowledgeable and tell me about new items. This store is smaller but they utilize their space well. This is one of my favorites gamestops to go to.

I had a horrible experience at a GameStop earlier today and they completely turned it around. I will only be going to the store, these guys deserve a raise, thank you Nick thank you Beza!!! Experiencia negativa: Went down stars they’re not supposed to close until 9 and I came right before 7:30 and they were closed ***UPDATE*** Came on a different occasion they’re supposed to be open by 10am and they still aren’t open there is at least 5 customers waiting for them to open.

Experiencia negativa: I had the chance to come to this location twice this week due to them having the biggest inventory in the area. I was pleased with the helpfulness of an associate by the name of Alex who went above and beyond to help me and it's the only reason I left any stars on this review. Unfortunately I had to return an item and was attended by a mean and non caring associate by the name of Vishnu who was listening to music and ignoring customers all around. At the time of checkout he was also extremely disrespectful and threw the item that I had paid for on the counter like nothing. I have never experienced this level of unprofessionalism in any place before and I hope that management does something serious about it.

Neither of the employees had any experience, opinion, information or fun facts....really nothing to say about either. Ended up going to a different location.
Experiencia negativa: The cashier with long hair, who’s name I’ve forgotten, was not only weird but also a bit rude. Walked in with items to sell, and his response was “everyone’s looking to sell today, apparently” with a sigh. If you don’t like your job, get a new one. He was just awkward and not very fast. Only one employee in the store, and lines start forming when he can’t multitask. Would not recommend this location due to poor customer service.
Experiencia fantástica: Friendly. I was able to call ahead and ck firm a copy of the game I was looking for was available. Once I arrived, I was greeted and assisted immediately and told about promotions and sales opportunities. When I declined I wasn't haggled. Pleasant exchange. I'll be looking to go hear for further purchases.

The third time, the game worked but the guy was so sarcastic and rude. He said don’t come to destroy my store. Unprofessional, will never buy anything again from that store.

The game system stops wkg after 2 weeks so we go return everything we get refund on system but for remote $52.99 & 2 games 40$ each over 130$ we only get 45$ store credit??? Experiencia fantástica: So I called a few other GameStops, and they gave me the runaround for returns. Now on the website and on the receipt it says 30 days return for accessories. Opened or unopened. One GameStop said no it is 7 days and after that you can't do it. Another GameStop said well if you came in a day or two afterwards you'd be able to do it. But the website in the receipt say 30 days. So go to this GameStop expecting some trouble and I was wrong. The guy was cool he processed it very quickly and right away my money was good. I will be stopping at that store more and not at the others. That place isn't GameStop that place is GameStonk.

I then asked Mark a single question and after his response I now know why, what, and how to get all The exclusive and fine items my brother would be looking for! I got a refurbished Xbox X here and it runs like a champ, no issues, just like a brand new Xbox X. I purchased an afterglow controller and a retro. The employees are friendly, and if you think going to a GameStop is not worth it these days, give this one a try. You can never get the full nostalgic experience like you will walking into this GameStop. Everything is neat on their display cases, employees are knowledgeable about their products and games; the customer environment encourages you to purchase someone you probably not had original intention to purchase simply because the environment is so encouraging. Best GameStop for miles.

Experiencia fantástica: We did a trade in for the Switch so we could get the one with the better battery life. Claude ended up helping us and I feel like he went above and beyond to do so. I was kind of nervous about getting the new Switch and having the data transfer over properly but he helped us with it and everything went smoothly. He had researched on how to do it on the Nintendo website to make sure. He even recommended a game the boyfriend would enjoy so I bought that too. Thank you for helping us!
