While I was asking Tiffany so many stupid questions, she showed me kindness and said non of the questions were stupid and answered to the best of her knowledge. So many different consoles and genre of games. Helped me find the best system and games for my family. 100% will be going back and letting my friends and family know best GameStop ever!!!!
Experiencia fantástica: Wah wah wah, you “customers can fix 90% of your problems if you knew how to read. “I bought a backbone for an android when I needed it for iPhone,” imagine if the description was on the box…. Crazy. The workers there are great and they get paid too little for what they deal with. Would totally be worried about hate comments but again customers don’t know how to read.
Experiencia negativa: Bought a backbone for a phone asked the the attendent if this was for a android he said yes even asked if he was sure he said yes. Gave this as a gift to someone and found out it was for an I phone. Called and went back to exchange. I lost the receipt but I paid with a card, asked if they could exchange or refund the money back to the card I purchased it with. Jay said he could not. Called again and read them their return policy and I could see it was at his discretion so they were choosing to keep the money and not give the money back. I think this is fraud when you know you can track that item in your store and see that it was paid for and when you sell someone an item knowing it's not the right item. The least they could do is take the item back an give you store credit or a gift card for the price.
Experiencia negativa: I'm so annoyed. I got my boyfriend a backbone on december 24th. I asked the man who got it out was it for a android phone multiple times he said yes. My boyfriend opens it, its for a iPhone. So I go back to the store. I don't have the receipt but I pull it up on my banking app it has all the details they need. They wouldn't let me exchange it for the right one. He said he can't do anything.

I came in looking for a 3ds charger, even though he was busy he still greeted me and my father. He was extremely knowledgeable on the new games coming out and even gave us some great reccomendations. Overall id definitely come to this gamestop again just because of how kind Jay was.

April 11th i came to this location to exchange my controller for a new one just to end up with a pre-owned one . They cited that’s their new policy. Yeah I’ll buy my controllers elsewhere.
Experiencia negativa: Went into location to exchange a game I recently purchased and the young lady looked up my transaction then, she informed me they could take the game back. I let her know I only wanted to exchange for a game for my switch and she told me I could go select the game then come back to the register for checkout. After I found the games I wanted she then told me we can’t take your game without you losing 50$ since you are a three days past the exchange period. I paid 75$ for a game I didn’t even open/play and all they offered was 23$ even though she told me I could do an equal exchange prior to me selecting the games I wanted. The young lady misinformed me and then took it back what she originally said saying” I’m sorry I didn’t see that at first.” This location needs better customer service! I just don’t understand how it’s ok to mislead customers.

Experiencia negativa: Someone used my account last year in that store and stole over 10,000 points on my Pro account. I have never bought anything XBox and Gamestop can see this. Contacted customer service and was told there would be an investigation. Never heard back. When I called again they told me I would never get my points back. I hope everyone picks any other GameStop if you must shop with them (which after my experience I’d advise against) go any where else. GameStop lost my 30 years of patronage and don’t deserve your business either. Especially this location.
Experiencia negativa: Walked in on a product release day, was told if it was released today it’s “probably” in a box in the back and they won’t be able to check until after 1pm. So what you’re telling me is you don’t want my money. Really excited for this product and was prepared to spend a few hundred dollars but I guess I’ll take my money elsewhere. Very disappointing.

(To the guy who complained about them taking a break with a ten minute sign up in the reviews. How entitled are you? Employees are human too. They need to use the restroom and usually there’s only one person there working if you’ve ever been in this GameStop more than once.) I digress. Great customer service here all around.

And Another store on the corner of Yadkin and Skibo has Used PS4 controllers for over $50 and the NEW controllers for $60. Sounds pretty jacked up to hike up the prices on used merchandise where it cost as much as the new stuff.

If you don't want to be there find another job or talk to your bosses about making it so you enjoy being there more. Whatever it is don't take it out on the customer I spend upwards of 400$ a month at gamestops getting various items... never from this location again I hope it closes down honestly to allow those miserable employees a chance to find work they truly enjoy instead of having the hard life of working for a video game company...

Josh, who I was dealing with acted like this was no big deal and in unapologetic. Terrible service will not do business with game stop again if I can help it.
Experiencia negativa: Their customer service is terrible I would go to any other gamestop ,we pulled up at 8:56 with with my son and the guy locked the door right in front of us .we knew exactly what we wanted had been trying to call for over an hour with no answer I guess he was too busy playing on his cell phone , They weren't busy no customers he definitely was not Polite he saw us pull up and was standing at the door and when I got out of the car right in front of the door ,he reached up and pulled the chain on the open sign ,and locked the door . I can understand if management tells them to shut the computer down at a certain time .An employee who cares about his customers Would have empathetically explained the situation instead of just shaking his head and saying no.

Staff well during my visit one 1 store associate was working and she was being pulled in 5 different directions trying to help customers, answering the phone and calling people to remind them that their online orders were ready for pick-up! So koodos to her and she was still very positive and helpful! They had everything I wanted in-stock to include the released today mario golf ⛳ and remembered to give me the extra gift lapel pins for purchasing the Mario golf game! This is the only gamestop store that I use even though we have many in the county! Love this store!

Experiencia negativa: I paid $6 extra dollars for my package to be delivered in 2-4 days and not only that, I asked the employee there to please change the address and add my apartment unit and he did not want to. He told me to create a FedEx account and I would be able to change it from there. I believed him until I saw that I could not do that because I have to be the sender in order to change the address just to add a unit number. I have been waiting a week literally. I ordered it last Saturday on 03/27/2021 so it should have been here by Wednesday because I paid the extra $6 for shipping. It is currently 04/02/2021 and I have not seen my package which is a Nintendo Switch and I have been deceived and lied to by this company’s employee. I hope they can train them better to complete the customers wishes like mine which was literally him going back a page and added my apartment number but he did not want to do that, which is sad because there were no other customer in the store at the time. All he had to do was add the apartment number and now look at me mad and with no package. I just called FedEx and they told me to contact the sender which is Gamestop and have them call them to add my unit number which could have been avoid if the employee did what I asked and added the unit number from the get go. I am sorry but this has been the worse first time experience I have had trying to order stuff from a store. Never again will I order from Gamestop.
