Experiencia negativa: Wouldn’t sell Pokemon to my kid. She had her binder and deck box and they said because she can’t use her dad’s phone number they won’t sell it to her. Managers orders to deter scalpers. MANAGER she isn’t a scalper she wanted to open it right there. Employees are awesome but manager your rules are affecting regular kids who aren’t old enough for an account but are old enough for the game. She waited that line to get turned away so I gave her my box but still really messed up. I went to another GameStop and they let her buy it without a phone number.

It was a bit crowded, which was expected on a weekend, but the store was clean and well organized. The staff was friendly, and the whole experience went smoothly. Overall, a good visit!

Experiencia fantástica: Went in to submit my cards with GameStop and the experience was overwhelmingly positive. Ray's customer service was 10/10! Not only was he considerate, and respectful throughout the whole process, but he also didn't rush me with anything, so I was very comfortable and at ease with organizing my cards. I came in very nervous not knowing the full process, and left very happy afterwards with the explanation. Thank you!

Today, Saturday afternoon, my son bought a PS4 game and the person who helped him put it aside at the checkout and we stood in line for more than 20 minutes. When it was our turn to pay, they told us that they sold the game to someone else. On top of that, the person they “sold” it to was still there and they could tell him that my son put it aside first and it was the last game they had, but they preferred to give it to him. They have no professionalism and if I couldn’t give any stars, it would be much better

Experiencia negativa: Went to this location a few days ago. The clerk was playing music from a personal speaker that was extremely inappropriate for a work place setting, especially when the store had young kids inside. If he wants to listen to the kind of music that is definitely rated for mature audiences only, it should not happen in a retail store or in front of small children. The store needs to set better standards for it's customers.

Experiencia negativa: Don’t bother coming here if you want to price match a price from Amazon. They don’t price match unless is from there own website which is ridiculous. All game stop price match from Amazon as long you have a pro account and it’s sold by and ship by Amazon.

It's not merely a game store; it's a community, a place of learning, and a gateway to endless gaming possibilities for my son.
Experiencia negativa: A buddy of mine just bought a Xbox one s for me from this location. Didn't take long to realize that the employees here don't test their used/refurbished consoles before sale as they gave my buddy an unusable Xbox. At first I played simple single player games which didn't show the flaws but as soon as I played large scale single and multiplayer games (battlefield 2042 and starfield for example) the console would basically have a seizure on my screen. Imagine if this was sold to someone with epilepsy or really bad motion sickness and all the employees could say after landing someone in the hospital is "sorry for our lackluster attention to detail." If you buy anything from this location make sure to inspect whatever it is you're buying as much as possible before taking it home.
Experiencia negativa: Bought a $350 gaming device and was told they can't give me a bag because they dont serve food there? Every other store in the mall will give you a bag if you make even a $5 purchase, let alone a $380 after taxes purchase. He told me to go to Adidas next door and get a bag. Adidas told me they never do that. I can see why Gamestop is going under. I would recommend using any gift cards or credit you have with them now. I don't see them surviving much longer.
Experiencia negativa: Worker was disrespectful. We were looking and planning to purchase some of the Pokémon decor for my son but he told us we couldn’t stand “in his line”. If the display is “in your line” than don’t put the shelf display there or redirect your line. We left and will purchase from another location.

Experiencia negativa: I am not one to even write reviews, but after today's experience with this particular location I felt that this review was beneficial. I came in today looking for an Xbox One power brick due to the wear and tear on my old one. I had approached a guy by the name of Austin who assisted me very quickly and efficiently. As he was ringing up, he noticed an incorrect signage on the product itself (labeled 24.99 but scanned under 49.99). He then asked his manager to override the price on the POS system due to the incorrect signage being presented to me. The manager then said in an unprofessional tone, "it came from the back, we are not honoring the price" and then quickly walked to the back. I've worked 6 years in retail management. I understand that honoring prices can be a bit difficult especially when you're engaging with an irate customer who clearly saw an incorrect signage. Rule of thumb in any standard retail would be to honor the price to avoid losing business, especially in this day and age where business are struggling to do their best to keep their lights on. Now keep in mind, I did not say one word to argue with anyone nor did I want to waste my breath just to get $25 off. In this particular scenario money is just an object to me, I could care less about it, but it was the business policy that was presented very poorly and unprofessionally to me. I will not tell you how to run a business, but I will advise you to train the managers to understand a simple rule in retail management and it's that presentation is key. Experiencia negativa: The assistant manager Chris is EXTREMELY RUDE! I spend thousands of dollars with GameStop every year! And I came here to Ontario mills today to purchase sweaters and I had 6 ready to purchase before I moved on to the games and I decided to try one sweater on over my clothes just to make sure it was right size and this ASM Chris yelled across the store and told me to NOT TRY ON HIS SWEATERS OR HE WOULD HAVE TO DAMAGE THEM! The whole store was looking and I told him I have never had this issue before and he shrugged his shoulders and said that’s his rules. I told him I wanted corporate and he smirked and wrote it on a piece of paper and mumbled something. I will NEVER come back to Ontario mills location again until he is gone. Horrible attitude and nothing I have seen at gamestops before.

And we had the game in our hands .I read it and didn't say down load .she just didn't want to look for the game asked her to check another store she said they would carry just the down load what a lier .
Experiencia negativa: Gamestore in the mall. Has newer game titles and many used titles for different platforms except PC. Honestly this place is now just to buy toys and tee shirts. No ps5 in stock, can be extremely crowed on the weekends, the "experts" Honestly dont know much more than you can learn online in 5 mins. New titles, peripherals and game systems as well as used for sale. Since its the mall gamestop its convenient if your already in the mall other than that its always good for a quick stop and walk out. Located across from the food court which is convenient.

It's unfair if you guys are short and we ALREADY HAD TO WAIT SO LONG FOR YOU GUYS TO FIX IT. Our card was getting mailed to us. Yall could have just let it go. We wanted so long for you to just refund what you changed us for the charger you had to ruin our box packaging for. Thanks alot. You really could have let $30 be wanted. Your management only cares for money. I feel sorry for the sales Cashier.

It's always a mess and never have what you want in stock. Long lines etc etc but that's purely because it's in the food court area and children run rampant in this store knocking everything down. Avoid this location if possible.
