Experiencia fantástica: Matthew is a superstar and truly created a delightful experience in the face of a rough experience. I hadn't received my digital download of my game from Gamestop.com website. I tried calling the website support line, but had no luck going through. Matthew stayed on the phone with me and called the customer support line with his own cellphone to bridge a conversation between me and support. He also provided useful comments to the support and clarification to ensure the support staff on the website was aware of the issue. While the support staff on the website was not helpful, Matthew went above and beyond to ensure I was my voice was heard. Matt recommended I also call the website again on Monday. I called the website again today and was redirected to a helpful support staff (Jasper) who provided me the download code. No 3-5 business days with escalation like originally stated by the website staff, I got it on the call. Thank you so much Matthew!

I won't even say what I got because it doesn't matter but at the same time I believe that when a store is friendly, it's clean and has good service with a large selection with like I said friendly staff they deserve a nice shout out and and a good review. This is my time giving back to this company I know I can't do a lot as a consumer but I can do a lot for a small business owner. The gentleman who helped me was very knowledgeable also was very kind I told him I would definitely come back and shop with him in the future. The young lady behind the desk she was beautiful and she was also very nice. I appreciate a store that's clean well together and not run down. I drove 20 minutes away from my house that has a GameStop that's 6 minutes away specifically because they had the things that I wanted. But but with me coming out here I figured out that this store is much better than the store over by 58th and kedzie. So instead of going north from now on to get all my gaming needs I'll go south. Experiencia negativa: Every time I come to GameStop it's closed, 3 days straight it's closed Nov 10th 25 I called first the guy said they closed at 9 pm but online says 8pm, Nov 11th the lady said 845 pm online says 745pm I get here at 642 pm and their close now Nov 12th it's 615 pm and it's closed again

Experiencia fantástica: I absolutely love this location in my area! All of the staff members work very hard, know their products, and their services are a 10 out of 10 for me. They help with all of my gaming needs and everything else I need to get in the store. That includes games, gift cards, Pop Funko Dolls, merchandise, and more. I do wish the store could have more Yu-Gi-Oh cards available because I'm a competitive Yu-Gi-Oh player and would love to get my products their before I go to an OTS official tournament store, or TCGPlayer to get them. Other than that, I love this location. All of the employees deserve raises, promotions, higher pay, and more. Can GameStop bring back customer surveys so that it can help the store regarding growth and points, etc? I'd fill them out 24/7 if that means the employees and store can benefit from it. This store gets a 10 out of 10, 100 out of 100 from me, DADGUMIT!!

Experiencia negativa: Multiple malfunctioning ps5 controllers have been sold to me. Their return/exchange policy is ridiculous. Basically if you open the box you forfeit the warranty. Even if the contents are not working. So everytime the faulty controllers were brought back within the past 3 days a new warranty had to be bought. After speaking with corporate they informed me the policy has not been enforced correctly. At this point this location will no longer get our business.

I live a block from one and most of the time they don’t know about it or just claim they never got it. Experiencia negativa: I called asking for a copy of Megaman Legacy collection, they informed me they would hold it for an hour. I arrived within 55 minutes, drove all the way from Addison only to find out that the girl I talked to sold the game after 48 minutes!! She didn’t wait the full hour and I drove over for nothing!! The manager tried to make it better by giving me 50% off the digital version, I wasn’t going to leave empty handed so I bought it but if I wanted the digital version, I would’ve bought it already!!!! Not worth the hour trip and I know the employee isn’t going to be reprimanded for this. Never going back, avoid this location if you can.

Experiencia positiva: Like most GameStops, this one has staff who are happy to help you find game, accessories and collectables for a low price. The staff were astute, kind and did not mind going into the back stock room to find certain items that may not be on the sales floor. Unfortunately they didn't have the item(s) I was looking for and told me to comeback and that they would even call me if or when they have the item back in stock. GameStop may have it's doubters and nay sayers but it's not the store that keeps it going it's the employee's who are willing to help you anyway that makes you want to come back.

Experiencia positiva: Regular Ole gamestop but this trip irritated me because I felt like the person there is very knowledgeable but the combination style they used wasn't connecting on a personal level despite understanding what was being said and they also tired to correct me by saying that samsung gear wast an oculus device or whatnot when I showed him a pic with the oculus logo on it they didn't even apologize even though they jumped in a conversation that I was having with my son about the Samsung Gear VR headset I have and had I not been able to prove my statement, I would have ended up looking like a liar because the game advisor is a professional and should know what they are talking about and I'm just his dad lol.
