Experiencia negativa: the absolute worst customer service. i was just there 10 minutes ago (3pm, 12/28) and waiting in line for a solid 15 minutes. it didn't move. two of the employees were 'helping customers' (just talking and not actually checking anyone out) and the one on the far left had his nose stuck in his phone, ignoring everyone. i wanted to buy the new meta quest, but i just sat my stuff down and left. ridiculous.

Experiencia negativa: Came in only to be treated like I was trash by a guy named Brandon. He was rude, seemed really standoffish and not at all like he enjoys his job. Really reconsider who you hire, making your store look bad.
Experiencia fantástica: One of the workers there named Kaleb did exceptionally well and awesome work in assisting me and my wife in finding the right game and deals for what we wanted and we were given above and beyond customer support in this regard and if you read thank for the awesome deal.

Experiencia negativa: decided to come right before 830pm on a monday night (2/5/23) after my xbox finally broke, decided to come get a new one but only to find out they closed early? with a “be right back in 15 min” sign as it was only 8:25pm .. I even tried calling the store and got hung up on.
Experiencia negativa: first time in ages I go into a GameStop and I bought a v-bucks card Christmas Eve and I get home to redeem and it says it’s not activated. How is a POINT OF SALE ACTIVATION card not activated at point of sale??? I go back and the same dummy who sold it to me says he can’t do anything to activate nor refund me so contact support, I contact GS support line they said they can’t do anything either and to contact Epic Games Support which makes no sense because I didn’t buy it from Epic I bought it from YOU. YOU the retailer are the authorised party who sold it, the activation would come from you and my money to refund, which they also can’t do, comes from YOU because it’s from your inventory. Now I remember why I don’t buy from these stores anymore because from store staff to customer support all y’all useless and clueless

Experiencia negativa: We usually don't have issues with GameStop, but this location was a horrible experience. The one associate there couldn't answer our questions and when we asked if she could contact a manager for us to speak to, she said she didn't know who to call. We were going to purchase a pre-owned game system. We asked what their process is when they take in pre-owned systems...do they clean them up, verify they work, etc. She said they wipe them down with a cloth. She brought us the box and we asked to open it and check it out prior to purchase. It was covered in dust and crumbs. She was annoyed that we asked if there were any others. She brought back another and said "I guess you want me to open this one too, huh?". It also was dirty, but not as bad as the other. We asked if they verify everything is there and works and she said of course. Against my better judgment I bought it since My 13 year old had worked hard to save up the money. We got home, spent time cleaning the yellow layers of goop off of it (probably a smokers home), plugged it in, popped in a disc and it just grinded and would never read any disc we put in. I should have known. I took it back to our local location and informed them of the situation. They took it back no issues there. But I will probably never go back again.
Experiencia negativa: I stood still waiting for help...alot of behind the counter conversation...but not one , "can I help you" .... after 5 minutes i got a text ...so i stood still to read It and then was approached as if i was trespassing lol ... wierd behavior from a sales assiciate ... more like a script used to prevent shop lifting but i was waiting forever to be helped...never again.
Experiencia negativa: Went into the store yesterday to pre-order Final Fantasy 16 and the girl with green hair started to tell me that I wasn't able to make pre-orders without a gamestop membership and I told her that I have other pre-orders at the store and don't have the membership and she clicked her tongue at me and told me that well then those pre-orders will no longer be valid and then demanded I give her my phone number so she could pull them up and cancel them and refund me. I told her this was unacceptable and she said that is her store policy and if I dont like it, then I can leave. I ended up walking out of the store without pre-ordering the new Final Fantasy. I have been coming to this store for 10 plus years and spending hundreds weekly and I will not be doing so again.

Experiencia fantástica: Amazing store 11/10 the extra star is for the employees there shout out to them for going above and beyond first with I think the guys name was Christopher who while walking in to the ps5 section he greeted me and asked if I needed help and we began a conversation on the game I was buying. Next is the amazing employee Mila he went above and beyond for me he is amazing and I didn’t catch his name but the manager with the earrings and he helped me a lot and got me to save a lot of money with my purchases did 3 purchase in one visit. The most purchases in one day at any GameStop! THEY NEED RAISES GIVE IT TO THEM!!!!

Experiencia negativa: Went to the midnight release for Pokémon Scarlet and Violet. Staff were rude and pushy and had to be told several times we didn’t want to pay for their membership program. Absolutely unprofessional. Then we were told after waiting in a line that went out the door that we were late. I wonder why we were late. Maybe it was THE LINE?!! Honestly I’d rather wait till the day after and get it from literally anywhere else than be treated like that.

Because it GameStop must not not need my sale so I’ll take it online like the 90% of consumers but it’s okay...

The store is always busy with customers so if you call and they don't answer is because they are super busy with someone in front of them and asking questions for what I have noticed. Other than that, they are friendly, knowledgeable and patient!!!!!
Experiencia negativa: Nobody ever answers the phone here... Employees are generally friendly for the most part, but lack general knowledge about anything outside of the products they carry. Employees need better training on how to deal with customer questions/concerns. Although inventory seems to be stocked well at this location I cannot recommend it and would rather travel to the smaller GameStop at 6017 S Goldenrod Road where the staff is more knowledgeable.

Ashely helped me out a lot trying to find good deals for the stuff I want, and Colt helped me make up my mind for getting a good headset for my big head. Keep up the good work guys!

Experiencia fantástica: Personally have had no issues with the store. Staff had been helpful whenever I needed something/asked questions. Games are of the usual quality at a videogame seller: some used, some new. The ability to buy accessories for older gen consoles is definitely a blessing if you still have a Wii like I do! Overall, this particular GameStop is good. I'm aware some may have had a different experience, and that is unfortunate. However I still prefer going here than possibly getting ripped off on Ebay. Besides, you can't really knock that feeling you get when you walk into a gamer's haven, even to just browse around! Also the more recent addition of being able to buy older gen games past DS/Wii from them again. Always a bonus. Do keep in mind that it's an online-only service.
Experiencia negativa: Long wait times and aggressive advertising of warranties/season passes are the norm of any GameStop, this location is no exception. However, this is not the cause of the low rating. Inconsistent, incompetent employees earn that grade. Twice in the past year the store has sold a copy of my game which was supposedly reserved, luckily to get to this store you must traverse insane levels of traffic and tourists. The manager hardly seemed to care, offering to reserve the game at another location that’s 20 minutes away. Would not recommend, prime example of why the chain is going out of business.

Thank you ( sarcastically speaking) but want to thank lindsie for her service, she was impeccable !! She saved you customer! her professionalism and attitude was on point and I enjoyed learning a few things about your products... If you haven't been in this store recently or somehow never been here you need to stop in and check them out! They are usually running good deals on used video games, you can pre order them and get em before the normal public. They do release events so it's not just a boring line if you pre order!
