Store environment is cool, if you grew up gaming or just enjoy gaming and its history this is a great store for you. Especially if you’re into collecting. They had some sweet stuff in there, rockband guitars in mint condition, Nintendo 3ds games, original Xbox’s, etc.

Experiencia fantástica: I've sold games here before and I felt like I was given a fair price. The few times I've stopped in to browse I've always enjoyed chatting with the employees and owner. I have to give them five stars though after my most recent experience. I had a N3DSXL with a jacked up screen. Their repair guy had a real task on his hands that took longer than I think they expected. They charged me what I felt was more than a fair price for the repair. I'll definitely bring any of my consoles to them that need repair. Good people and a cool store.

Experiencia fantástica: I just made my first visit. Really great vibe and experience. The owner, Jay, was a really nice guy and clearly a genuine gamer. Gave me fair value for the box of games I brought in, and had fair prices on his items. I ended up just standing around and chatting with him and some other gamers, which was the best part. We are a gaming community after all, but most stores don't have that atmosphere. Very happy to have finally checked it out.

Loved all the cool stuff they had from reeeeeally retro games to arcade cabinets. Pricing is generally fair and advertising are clearly displayed. I got to update my collection because they had Mutant Football League!.

Experiencia fantástica: Very neat and organized, easy to find what you're looking for or know quickly that they don't have it in stock. Prices can be a bit steep on some items, but for the most part, things are about current market value. My only real complaint is that everything is taped shut, so you can't inspect the discs or see if a game has its manual and other inserts. I do understand it is an anti-theft measure, but it is still unfortunate as I am very particular about the items I add to my collection. However, I haven't had any issues with a disc being unusable, so if you aren't concerned with having a complete copy, the tape should not be an issue for you. Trade in value is a little on the low end, but not too low to where I'd recommend going elsewhere

Experiencia fantástica: If you're looking for some retro games or games that might be harder to find now, this is the place to look. Jay has a pretty good amount to check out. He also has some other cool stuff but I'll leave that for you to see for yourself. He also does console and handheld repairs for a fair price. 10/10 I'll definitely be back.

It was really hard tracking down a copy of Super Mario World (Super Mario Advance 2), but they had a great selection available, including what I was looking for. The staff gave me a decent in-store credit for trade in games as well. And they even threw in a free cartridge case (god, I forgot all about Pelican accessories). I didn’t linger TOO long because I didn’t want to walk out with more than I came for, but that should be a testament to the amazing stock available. Much love! Thanks a lot. It made a great Christmas gift and she can’t wait to play it! Only other thing I feel I should mention is that parking is a little weird, but ultimately made no difference in my experience.

A couple notes, even though that's certainly enough information for me! -Staff friendly and ready to help -An extensive collection. Not the biggest out there, but not small at all either. They've got lots of collectors editions, reasonably priced games, affordable games. Knowing that everything here is pre-owned, the selection was a 9/10 for me -Only reason the selection was a 9/10 was that the newer product selection is minimal (but still high quality). Again, not a knock at all, I just love my PS5 therefore I love PS5 games and Blu Ray movies. Small section, no big. You're here for retro and amazing deals on awesome opportunities! Can't wait to be back, I'll be buying and selling here for sure.

Experiencia fantástica: Best game store around!!! They have a crazy Amount of Classics and Current Era Games on top of just Plain good people. I just got back into collecting Sega Genesis games and owned a Crispy new Punisher game not in box and was looking for Punisher in box,hoping to trade my copy and some cash for their Punisher in box. I leave happy but forget to look in the box to see what condition the game was in.I did a face palm when I realized the Game that was in the case was in worse shape than the out of box Punisher I traded. So the only logical thing to do in my mind was turn around and see if I could buy back the crispy clean copy of Punisher I just sold him. To my surprise without hesitation he trades me back the copy I just sold him even up so I can have as prestine copy of Punisher as possible. I appreciate that kind of business, especially when it was my fault for not opening the box to see the games condition. He could of simply sold it back to me like every game store would of in this kind of situation,It was a great experience and recommend to everyone .

The owner and his employee Logan went above and beyond to clean the unit and polish the games bringing all the pieces back to being able to be used. All for a very reasonable price too!! Thank you guys. So happy we have such a great place to get things serviced and to look for games at!!

The prices on the Xbox 360 games are the cheapest out of any place I been to. The owners(or workers) were very nice and welcoming. I went right at 6:05 pm to get my disc cleaned and they did it with no problem . Highly recommended this place .

Every shelf and case was packed with games, systems, and collectibles spanning every generation. They've got games for basically everything, even the obscure stuff, and all the prices I saw seemed reasonable. The owner Jay is fantastic, super friendly and helpful. He understands the hobby extremely well and I had a great time chatting with him. If you're a retro gaming enthusiast, The Swap Meet is the real deal and it's not gonna let you down. This is how a game store should run. Tons of great items to choose from, and even some fun stuff to look at that isnt for sale (the "rare" mario bros for sega genesis).

Experiencia negativa: My son had a bad experience here he bought a saga and it had nothing but issues with the console and games he went back to talk to owner and was trying to get a refund they only wanted to give him half back of sale price and wanted to fix the console and not refund and said it was buyer remorse and that was not the case he was upset the console didn't work. I do understand and so does my son but just because it is old and doesnt work doesn't mean take it out on the buyer and make him loose money and not you that is wrong. no refund there at all unless you want half only.

I've been re engaging with my love of video games from childhood for a couple of years now and it's been a joy hanging out and chatting with the crew here. They've set me up with everything from modern TV hook up guidance to a strategy guide for a NES game my grandparents used to play with me when I was a kid. It's clear these guys love what they do and love sharing it with the community. If you're into retro gaming and collectibles you really should pop in, chat, look around, and spend money on things that make you happy.

The vibe was real laid back and I felt no pressure to buy anything. One employee made a bit of small talk about some products but that was it. An eclectic little shop in the heart of Lansing. 5/5.

Prices are much better in stores like disc traders, gamestop, and even ebay(with shipping combined). I visited these stores and also checked the game prices online on the very same day. I was also offered a very low amount for selling my games, so I took my business elsewhere and got offered better prices. Gonna get my games delivered cheaper to home rather than visiting here. If one was not sure, then they would get the right guy for the answer. I can't believe I missed out on shopping here for so long. They have a great selection of games for a large variety of systems. Give this place a try. Their prices are reasonable, and the hard to find games and systems are priced to sell and not take you to the bank. I only have one wish, and that was that they were open on Sundays. That's not their fault, just my schedule. Plus they need time off to see their family also.
