Positive experience: Decent store with good selection. Only complaint is that they don't honor the prices on the gamecases. One game rung up over 2x what the price on the case is and I almost paid for it because the employee did not notice. After realizing the mistake he said he cannot honor the sticker price. I'd double check everything before paying here.

Negative experience: The guy behind the counter tried to tell me the DLC I wanted to buy for a game was $60 dollars, which is how much the base game is. He argued for about 10 minutes till his coworker came back from break and I asked him.

Fantastic experience: Been coming to GameStop since earlier 2000s and love love them great community service

Negative experience: It disgusts me how Greedy GameStop has become they only care about money nothing else they false advertise selling them anything they will go as far to give me a quote online only to offer significantly less at the store I brought my Xbox One X to sell to this store my online quote was $52 which is already atrocious they then had the audacity to try and offer me only $16 for it in the store they sell that same console for $185 in their store and that’s after the discount

Negative experience: I hope GameStop goes completely out of business this place is legit violating false advertising laws by handing out false price quotes for trades then lowballing once you get to the store they don’t know what good condition is if it slapped them across the face

Negative experience: Bought a PS5 for pickup. called after 2 days because it still wasn't ready for pickup, they said they arrived but hadn't been processed and I had to wait. Another day passes and still being processed. On day 4 I file a complaint and my order is immediately cancelled. I go to the store in person and they're available for purchase. The cancelled my order because they weren't allowing me to pick up my order so I complained

Fantastic experience: I went for an Xbox 360 back for the controller. Of course I almost got what I didn't go to the store for an Xbox 1 controller but I bought a few games for the Xbox 1 since they don't sell anything Xbox 360

Positive experience: Tried to visit on Sept 30. It is closed. Google maps and Gamestop website said it would be open. Signs says it won’t open again until Oct 3

Negative experience: Horrible customer service experience! I called to see if they had a very specific product, they looked and said they had one left. I asked them to put it aside for me, they said they would. I drive an hour to get to the store, plus pay $7 bridge toll. I get there, and the guy says he doesn't know anything about it. I told him I spoke to someone an hour ago on the phone. He says, that guy isn't here, and "I'll text him." I end up having to wait 20 minutes. The guy responds and says that he never put it aside and that it's in the display case. The guy in the store and I both search the display case. NOTHING. The definition of awful customer service.

Fantastic experience: It's a good gamestop. Came here many times when I was in highschool. Even now it's still good. Like most, not all, gamestops, this shop is small and cozy but has everything you need.

Positive experience: This is kind of my go-to store for GameStop. While I was there for a Roblox Card for my granddaughter, my buddy asked for something and made the comments " you used to carry that item". The employee behind the counter was very friendly when she responded " actually that's not the case sir". Then she spoke and she was knowledgeable and knew her stuff. Sometimes it's hard to be polite and correct somebody but this woman nailed it. Why not check it out? If you're in need of GameStop support my local store on Mission Street near 23rd.

Fantastic experience: Absolutely love hanging out at this store. Spent over an hour here chatting it up with Evo and Ambrosia. I feel like I can spend an entire day there just hanging out. Great service and recommendations as always. I can't ask for more. I honestly never cared too much about purchasing from retail stores since I can always find better prices online but GameStop is definitely competitive. I often find better deals at the store. Besides, just kicking at the store talking about gaming with the staff is a great experience in itself! Can't stop, wont stop, GameStop!

Positive experience: They are abiding Social Distance and Federal Mask Mandate here. Though there is a limit of 10 People at any given Time, they were very helpful and Polite. Been Coming here since the Market St Location closed and have yet to be led astray. Great Selection most Days, But can Be Slightly Barron after a Major Title Release. Best to Call Ahead for Assurance.

Positive experience: My experience has been great so far, no problems at all but the thing is, xbox one games are a little expensive and mostly re-owned. But other than that, i rate it a 4

Positive experience: Friendly, knowledgeable staff. Decent selection of new titles and franchise tie-ins/collectibles, though giving older games and systems a little more in-store shelf space would've brought this review a perfect score. Still, after almost a decade away from consoles (my last system was an Xbox; finding a working PS3 abandoned on my block after Xmas is reeling me back in [I assume the PS3's former owner upgraded to a PS5]) I can honestly say that GameStop is still THE spot to find great deals on video games. I walked out with 5 awesome oldie-but-goodies (The Last Of Us, FFXIII, Saints Row 4, Watchdogs, and Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood) for just under ten bucks! Crazy, right? Now, heeding Shelter-In-Place protocols almost make me feel guilty for having a good time during a pandemic!

Positive experience: Have been a customer on and off at this location over the years. There is this one guy, I forget his name, but he always greets me and talks to me about what we are playing and stuff, just pretty cool and friendly every time I go there, just about. I have been coming for years as I said, so in that time I have had maybe one or two bad experiences due to super long lines, one time there was an extremely rude girl who was the cashier, or the most common problem, the game(s) I want not being in stock despite being displayed. Keep in mind that all these issues are over several years of me shopping there fairly often. That's actually pretty good. The average visit to this place, I leave satisfied.The stocking issue is somewhat common, but otherwise this is a really nice place to go if you game, considering they closed the one on market. Great prices and deals, friendly (mostly) staff, not too shabby.

Negative experience: I bought assassin's creed IV the other day and I can't play the disk. They should have given me the loading disk too???

Fantastic experience: I traded in some games. The cashiers were super friendly and knowledgeable. They were fast and attentive. There's alot of curbside going on these days. And this cashier. Was answering the phone and ringing up customers answering all my ridiculous annoying questions. She's the store manager. And she deserves a badge. I'm sure there's a Microsoft achievement award for this type of Stella performance. High score.

Fantastic experience: Went here in search of 2 very popular games that i heard were hard to find right before christmas. The woman who helped me was well informed and they had both games! The experience was great, quick and painless. If i were a gamer this place would be heaven. They were even cheaper than what BestBuy was advertising online.

Negative experience: I’ve been coming here for years and never had a problem until Anthony started to work there! His customer service sucks, I tried to tell him what I wanted and instead of him listening he kept leaving the register coming back with items I didn’t ask for. I was waiting for 15 minutes for something that should’ve taken 5 minutes. Didn’t ask me for my pro member ship number or anything even though I tried to tell him.Then tried to price gouge me. Fantastic experience: The GameStop manager Shelby is super sweet and charming. She was nothing but helpful when I made my purchases. This is the only GameStop I want to go to.

Fantastic experience: The staff here is actually knowledgeable about the things they sell here, unlike the downtown location whose sale associate told me to "just look it up online" when asking which of their headsets supported streaming and ps4 . The sales associates at the Mission location actually know their stuff and i was pointed in the direction of a headset that was not only a reasonably priced but has AMAZING sound and picks up speech like nobodies business. They also work so hard, during Thanksgiving they got everybody served in a timely fashion and were courteous and friendly. It's a small location but I love it cus I feel like the people who work there are ACTUAL GAMERS who love what they do not just some kids looking to make a quick buck without the effort....

Negative experience: Nice people but they give you nothing on sellback. the rates are ridiculous and the count of stuff they wont take makes it even worse

Fantastic experience: I'd been looking for a used copy of a 2009 game for more than a week with no success. I finally found it at this location through Gamestop's website-- but I live 40 miles away. The guy I talked to on the phone here was kind enough to ship the game from Mission St to my local Gamestop branch, no questions asked. I appreciated it so much!

Positive experience: I spend at least 6 hours every day using my PlayStation 4 console. That being said it goes without saying that I frequently need to go to where the games are... Gamestop! Buy, sell and exchange games as well as your old phones, tablets etc. I may be biased because I am a definite gamer but if I like it then you know that gamer friend of yours likes it too!

Fantastic experience: The staff there are really great. They are helpful and generous. A manager gave me some extra controller vinyls because they had extra and they let me have the camoflague netting from the COD display when they were done with it.

Negative experience: It was a joke! This game stop has 2 levels, yes 2 levels!!! We thought it was the right one to buy our stuff but I feel kidded. We asked for amiibos and they told us they have only one amiibo. So we went downstairs and yes, they had only one amiibo. That's very bad for a game stop with 2 levels!

Negative experience: This place sucks employees are so busy with they deep conversations they don't even care about the customers!!! I had to ask for help the young girl that working in the front have no clue what she is doing!!!!!

Fantastic experience: Overall: A very nice GameStop. The staff there was real nice and helpful, there's a surprisingly good selection of games and accessories available (sometimes i can find things here that isn't in stock at the market street location), it's kept neat and it doesn't feel too cramped in there. Been here a few times mostly to get something that was out of stock at the Market St store, and haven't had any bad experiences yet.

Fantastic experience: Great staff overall, I have been coming here since I was in 7th grade and the staff has always been great all staff is very knowledgeable in certain categories i.e. RPGs racing fighting etc. recently their system was down and they could not give me a dlc code sadly but told me to call back in about a day.
