Negative experience: Went to sell an Xbox 360 and some games. They paid $68 cash and passed on 3 games without giving me a reason why. I asked if I could trade all 3 games for a quarter so I could get a d20 dice out of their machine. His response? “We don’t do stuff like that around here.” Okay then. You could’ve handled that so many other ways, but instead you wanted to treat me like out of place even asking for it. So here’s your 1 star review.

Fantastic experience: Always helpful and courteous.

Positive experience: Good store, but had one person at checkout with line building, and 2 people dealing with a trade-in. I couldn't wait any longer in line so had to leave. The person in front of me left as well for GameStop to buy what they needed.

Fantastic experience: Thank you video games etc for taking the time to help me transfer my switch and help me set up my animal crossing and not giving up until it was done that was true customer service and kindness thank you so much!!! You guys are the best!!!

Negative experience: Sold me a damaged card without showing condition or warning me about the back and wouldn’t give me any credit or cash back, and were rude over the phone when I said it had a lot of whitening. I should've asked for condition beforehand, but why sell damaged cards at near mint prices and not warn your customers that they’re damaged?

Negative experience: Went into VGE this morning 3/5/2025. Worst customer service I've ever had and I really wasn't even rude or bothering the staff member at all. I came in, nobody in the store, walked past your switch stuff pondering saw "pre-owned controllers" and asked about a pre-owned ps4 controller. Got a whole speech about how Sony doesn't make ps4 controllers anymore but they don't have pre-owned. He said they had aftermarket ones available but no Sony, went over and then showed me a wired ps4 controller. I said "ok that's not want I want do u have anything unwired" "for the 3rd time we don't have any ps4 controllers" and got immediately snippy and shitty with me just inquiring about a controller. Went down the road and Gamestop had a used ps4 controller and brand new ones and no headache of shitty workers. I was genuine, direct saying what I wanted and within 1 minute your worker was immediately rude to me in an empty store.

Fantastic experience: Fair prices and very knowledgeable staff.

Negative experience: Do not waste your money and buy a used phone at this store. They let the batteries die, have difficulties answering basic questions about the phones they are selling. WASTE OF MONEY and time.

Positive experience: i came in from out of town and i walked in looking to buy some pokemon cards and the lady with a mask immediately was snarky with me, but there was a really cool guy and helped me out and even showed me the “secret box” i am only writing a review because the other employee was very unpleasant and rude. i wish i got that guys name that was really cool because he deserves a raise. Other than that great place and cool pokemon cards.

Fantastic experience: I came in to buy Pokemon singles and Travis was incredibly helpful, honest, and patient! I will definitely be coming back and he made sure my girlfriend and I were taken care of.

Negative experience: Go in there with 3 cards worth over 200$ combined and got offered 30$ and then they say we only buy at 25% value then sell for more then whats worth.

He was very patient with me and didn't give me any attitude for bringing him in a workload at the end of the day. Amazing employee video game ect. Give this man a bonus!!

Fantastic experience: I managed to buy a PlayStation 4 and a PlayStation 2 here. Not same day mind you but I was able to reacquire two of my favorite systems. The staff here are very accommodating and friendly. I thoroughly enjoy doing business with Video Games Etc. Highly recommend! They also have old school Nintendo Products too. Like Super Nintendo, Wii and older Xbox as well.

Negative experience: I DON'T RECOMMEND, bought a ps4 from here that is defective . I recommend gamestop and Amazon for any video game console and games over video games etc. Everything here wears out quickly . They have a history of being unreliable.

Negative experience: So i bought 2 xbox 1's for my kids for xmas. Unfortunately when they went to use them none of the brand new games would work due to the cd drives being broken.When i went to the store to exchange them the staff lectured me saying there is nothing wrong with them but i guess we will give you store credit. So now i have a $400 piece of paper(store credit)and no xmas presents for my kids. This was the place where i go to get all the video games for my family but now i will be going elsewhere. Thanks for destroying xmas video games etc. As if this year wasnt bad enough

Fantastic experience: My 10 year old grandson had money burning a hole in his pocket, so we headed to Video Games Etc. He was able to find a great Turtle Bay gaming headset he could afford. He's been very happy with them, as we always are with our purchases there. Whether new or used, Video Games Etc has almost always had what we wanted at a great price.

They also have a cool rewards app, so if you go there as much as I do, I recommend downloading it to get so many dollars off of a game and watch for special deals! Not to mention the staff is awesome, will help with literally anything, and will tell the truth about which games you would enjoy/not enjoy as much. Love it here!

Negative experience: I went to get a game resurfaced. well like 8. I went to do one first. I was told in snotty tone i had to pay first. I have not been told that before and would not have cared aside from managers attitude. I called him out on it and he said that you don't work in my line of work. I went from buying games and about $30 in resurfaced games to $3. the manager on duty brings up where I work without my mentioning it. I take that as a threat and asked him what that has to to with anything. threatening customers is a big no no.
