Negative experience: RIP GameStop. 3 months ago: Went to this location for the first time in quite a while after attempting to trade in my switch 2 the employee marked it defective because we were missing the 2 Joy con straps. Which replacements cost about $10. The offer was reduced from $375 to $225. Today: My wife and I stop in to possibly pick up some Amiibos. The two employees behind the counter didn’t acknowledged our presence in the store. The store was freezing cold zero heat. When the outdoor temperature is 23° with a “feels like” temperature of 0°. To top it all off we go to check out with the couple amiibos we did find and the first one the employee scans says that the price on the item is incorrect and that it isn’t $15.99 that it is $19.99. Then they claimed they can’t match their price printed on the sticker, that they stopped doing that 5 years ago. All around terrible experience the last 2 times I’ve visited this location. It’s time to face the fact that GameStop at least this location isn’t what it used to be.

Negative experience: Bought a game there and went to install it before I went to bed and I opened the case to not even have the disk. I will be calling in the morning and hopefully they will give me a disk. Update couple years later because I’m an idiot and came back. Bought a new controller. Let worker talk me into buying a warranty. Couple months later controller broke and my warranty was someone’s pre owned pos. No wonder game stores are going down hill. Now on I will only buy games online and controllers from Walmart because I atleast know I won’t pay $80 plus what ever for a 2 year warranty and get some pre owned POS and then try to get talked into paying for another warranty when I wasn’t even a full year into my 2 year warranty. Watch out for these guys. They are just looking to rob you at every chance. Definitely will never be back

Negative experience: Fox the door, the poor guy could hardly keep the heat at 60 because of the wind ripping it open. Also 12 bucks for 4 mega Pokémon card protector sheets is a bit outrageous for a buisness who let's their staff freeze like that.

Negative experience: Went to gamestop to get the shiny legendary code for scarlet and violet found out they gave them all to the grow adults and said u had to pay for the new mega evolution tcg set this was not how the code was supposed to be given out and its very disappointing never going to gamestop again since they cant figure out their problems

Negative experience: Walking in wasn't greeted by the employees. The floor of the store was dirty and had trash on the ground everywhere. While trying to check out the employee talked to another customer the entire time and even offered goldfish to another customer or employee. Took the employee 5 minutes to locate my game and the entire time he talked to another customer completely ignoring me

Negative experience: Bought Assassin’s Creed Shadows new and the game kept crashing, wouldn’t load. Tried to return it and they would not let me. No scratches and never even got to play the game. Don’t shop here.

Negative experience: Came today and neither employees greeted us or asked if we needed help, just a blank stare from both employees. Then both were on their phones behind the counter not paying attention to the 6+ customers in the store. Incredibly poor customer service.

Negative experience: Called multiple times and throughout the day. Nobody answered the phone. Was just trying to get a question answered before driving over there. But since they can’t answer the phones I will go elsewhere

Negative experience: 1-10-2025 at 6pm. I came in to purchase a couple games and I am standing by the counter waiting patiently while the guy working the counter continues to go on and on about his expensive vr setup with who I assume are his friends. He ignored me and another customer to continue talking to them. I set the game cases on the counter and proceed to leave. Not even a response from the team member or anything. I wouldn't recommend this GameStop. Terrible service.

Fantastic experience: Stopped in while waiting for our takeout order just to see what they had and Nicholas was such a great associate! He was extremely informed and did a great job educating us on what’s new, what our existing systems would be worth as trade and recommending games. He was very pleasant and helpful, will definitely come back for the service any time I’m looking for games, toys or gifts.

Negative experience: We came in at 5/11 at 410pm, when walking in it smelt like weed, very strongly. We were not greeted or asked if we needed any help. We heard one person behind the counter who said it’s his day off and they were trying to get a trade going. Customers came in behind us and they were greeted, asked if they needed help and when they left there was a goodbye. No offered help for us, no greets and placed smelled very highly of weed.

Fantastic experience: I recently purchased a video game console and some other items. The young man at the store was very helpful and very patient with me given my limited knowledge of the online/streaming gaming options that are available. Negative experience: Called to get an estimate on a console and dude was like no you have to bring it in like it was an inconvenience. First off I work in a similar job and quotes are rough but if I can give one I will but to outright refuse is a joke. Never a good experience with these guys

Negative experience: I asked for Pokémon cards as my little brother likes to collect them. The employee asked me if I was a scalper. I told him I wasn’t and we were just collecting. He then told me it was the same thing, implying that it was just as worse?? That was really uncalled for… I don’t even know why he had to ask that and then move forward with that comment.

Fantastic experience: The guy working there seemed very knowledgeable about his games- I asked if they had a Wii Twilight Princess disc, and I continued saying they probably didn’t have one, and he agreed with me, as though he knew about the series well, and he also was really friendly as when my dad was looking at some stuff and the guy knew about all of them. He was definitely just a good employee, and seemed to be fine when we(my dad and I) left the store without buying anything

Fantastic experience: I went in there for an Xbox it came out with an Xbox s series unfortunately the system itself wasn't exactly what we wanted but didn't know that until we got home and tried to get it up and going but that's probably because my son is seven and I'm 40 and I am definitely way out of touch with my gaming nowadays so the system itself a little too complicated for my son and I don't see him to be of any assistance but the store and the employees were amazing I was the only person in there because they were about to close but they definitely went out of their way to help me pick this item for my son for Christmas now if I can exchange it for an Xbox One with no problems I'll have to leave an even better review but if I'm stuck with this system it's kind of my own fault for not doing the research a little better because like I said the store itself clean and plays are great you're super nice and actually really funny and I was in and out in less than 10 minutes!

Negative experience: Came in to purchase an item, and then had the pleasure of being told the item wasn't in stock(then why do you have it on display!?) So then tried to order it online in-store and was then told that I would have to pay MORE because the advertised price they had in the store was "wrong". Great job trying to steal people's money. If that's the price you have on it then HONOR IT!

Negative experience: A certain staff member by the name David was extremely rude got angry at me for saying I was "Browsing" because I came in not to spend money and when I spend money he proceeds to make fun of my purchase. I would not recommend going to this location. The sole reason I don't bother with Gamestop.

Negative experience: I sent my husband Christmas shopping. Specifically to gamestop. When he rerurned, without anything, I asked why. He told me that David had yelled in his ear. Used the F word and made my husband not want to purchase anything from there anymore. He has now left out of town to work and will not be returning till late Christmas eve. We don't have family here where we live and I don't have anyone to watch my kids while I shop for them. He might not be able to get to a gamestop because of the rural area he will be stationed at. Thanks alot Mr. "I don't want to lose my F'ing job." Also, who hires a person that liberally uses the F' word at a place kids are frequently at. I certainly do NOT want to take my kids to this gamestop anymore.

Compared to any other type of business that has to deal with buying and selling merchandise the employees here are some of the very very few in those types of businesses that are on top of everything knowledgeable and somehow still manage to be very friendly patient and kind!!!!
