Fantastic experience: Chance is the man absolutely the best customer service! I come back just because he’s so nice.
Fantastic experience: The worker who helped me, Jake I think is his name, really helped me out. I work in customer service myself and he didn't have to go above and beyond like he did, but he did and I really appreciate it. Management take notice. It was just a simple cable but he helped me find a solution that I would not have thought of.
Fantastic experience: Sad it seemed everything was so picked over and I herd unsettling news again about more stores going out of business I have a nostalgia for these places because I grew up with them there are 7 I knew of and now only 2 remain was clean orderly and other than being one of the few stores left I had no desire to buy anything for the talk and picked over nature of the store they had reminded me of clay and Oswego stores now gone everything but there store and canadagua now remains which makes it near impossible to visit for my membership I had sence time immemorial at this point sence the my frist vist to the maddedale location that's now gone back in 2010 I remember my frist game I bought there was a psp game knights in the nightmare was almost impossible to forget :( then zelda and ds games oh how sad it makes me

Negative experience: Call the store for a question. Get put on hold immediately. 5 minutes later still on hold the call hangs up. Call back and go directly on hold after answering. This place is a joke. The customer service SUCKS.

Negative experience: The participating in false advertisement and very misleading in my opinion they have a thing of plushies near the window says $10 but what they don't tell you is the price on the plushies how much it is and almost all of them are over $10 That's a pretty scummy practice if you ask me

Negative experience: This store literally never answers the phone. Gamestop preorder bonuses arent shipped with the game for some dumb reason, so you have to pick it up at a retail location. However, the bonus items are limited stock so you have to call ahead to make sure the store even has the product. Since this store NEVER answers the phone, I can not confirm stock with them unless I drive there. Guess Im just canceling my order. What a waste of time.

Fantastic experience: We stopped in on a busy Friday, and were originally only going to see how many rewards points we had on the account. Jake was super friendly and let us know about a couple of deals that were going on, and even gave us some information about the Switch 2 preorder and after chatting we wound up finding a couple of games! Whenever we stop back we definitely will look for Jake!

Fantastic experience: Literally one of the only GameStops’ in the area that has helpful employees and that cares about keeping everything moving smoothly. For those of you complaining about people getting in line before you, the mall opens at 6 am and no tenant space has keys to the mall itself. If people are getting there before you, tough luck. Don’t bash the company as if you aren’t an adult yourself acting like a child. Just be grateful we still have locations for GameStop around. If you can’t agree with how they run things (which is amazing compared to other stores) then take your business elsewhere.

Negative experience: Love waiting 4 hours in line behind the guy who has a mall key and lets his friends cut in line. Absolutely disgusting behavior and unethical. Allowing everyone to get 2 of everything on a limited release was ok until you saw a line of 20 and could have dropped it to 1. Should be ashamed Bob. Absolutely ashamed.

Fantastic experience: I had a fantastic experience shopping at GameStop! The staff was knowledgeable, friendly, and eager to help me find exactly what I was looking for. They offered great recommendations and were patient in answering all my questions. The store was well-organized, making it easy to browse through the latest games, consoles, and accessories. Negative experience: Employee was rude. Guy gave me push back about a controller that I found issues with 3 different issues! 1 audio port didn’t work 2 left thumb stick would not work when you click down 3 right thumb stick had bad drift when you make slight movements I play cod and most of the time slight movements are being used during the game. The guy tested the controller as soon as I mention the drift and didn’t test for the other issues just the drift, he got super sassy and kept on saying that it didn’t have drift and just kept repeating himself without letting me get any words in, in no way shape or form did I come off rude because it is to early (11am-ish)to be trying to argue with anyone So I didnt understand why he was like this. I had to push my way in the tell him that it’s something I experienced when playing the game and how I play cod it just happens when I make slight movements. He completely ignored me and immediately with an attitude said do you want the camouflaged one or blue. I requested the blue and he basically didn’t say anything after just gave me the controller. I had asked him a question about the warranty after since it was my first time doing it but it felt like he wasn’t even into answering my question either, If you hate dealing with customers then quit your job. Just because you’re miserable doesn’t mean you need to treat people like that either. Super disappointed with the experience I had. Seems like a lot of people in the reviews have had different/similar experiences with the same guy who’s slightly tall with glasses.

Negative experience: If you're going to sell any equipment back to GameStop be sure to ask them what they're charging you first. They're paperwork pushers and wanna make every dime possible. They will NOT tell you what you're getting/paying for first, just that it is what it is worth now and you will have to wait for all the info to show on the receipt afterward. Have you ever heard of a reseller that penalizes you for a factory reset? Neither have I
Negative experience: Decided to go digital on a pre-order because of this guy's demeanor. He had glasses and was tall, didn't get his name. I was getting cups that weren't even priced correctly, after seeing my receipt later, which isn't even an offense I'd mention, if not for the rest. He asked if I'd like to renew my Gamestop membership and I said, "not at this time", he said, "then you won't get points, just so you know" with attitude, and I said, that's fine... (it was a $10 purchase). He asked if I needed anything else and I asked if I could pre-order a game for my local location, since this location is an hour from mine. He said nope, with mkre attitude. Then he checked me out and said, wothout mentioning they had no bags. I asked for a bag, and he said they were out, with more attitude, I wouldn't have even purchased the item if they were out of bags. That's something you mention earlier, not after check out, even if he was out of them, whi h I think he just didn't give me a bag to give me more attitude. Either way, deserves a 1 star review, and because of this experience, I'm going back to ordering digitally.

Fantastic experience: GameStop is within Destiny’s Top 5s bracket of solidified staples seeing as how their products and target audiences range from children to elders. In this specific GME, John is the goat by helping anybody in question about gaming experiences, upgrades, product availability, and exclusives. Good genuine guy who can match you up with a genre of games based on what you talk to him about. This is absolutely not to undermine anyone else who works at the Destiny Mall location because I chop it up with all of the friends whenever I go with or without my kids. Notice I say friends vice employees: this is important to me because many business’ lack good conversations and are only influenced based off sales. Luckily, that’s not a problem GME has to face.

Fantastic experience: Every time I shop a Gamestop, I am helped by friendly people. The Destiny location no exception. The manager went out of his way to make sure we were taken care of.
Positive experience: Love the store but they need to stop with the pitches every time you go in. "Do you have a power up card?" " what systems do you own?" General geek talk is great but forced conversations need to stop.
Positive experience: Good place to buy video games/consoles/accessories. Unfortunately it's usually the first place people go to for just that. You gotta be early, or plain lucky, to get the hottest items in store.
Negative experience: October 8, 2021. My fiance was trying to get me just dance 2021. The oswego one didnt set aside our preorder. So we requested syracuse after checking route 31 gamestop and they didnt have it. We also requested to have pokemon memories exclusive to gamestop to be put aside if they had one. So the manager was super nice and put both to the side for my fiance. Letting the employees know who it was for. My fiance drove over an hour to get to the store. Once he got there the employee said he already picked the order up. Fiance obviously didnt so asked for the manager. The employee must have saw his manager leave and called his friend and his friend came in and bought the cards and got the game for free from the employee (game was preordered already). So the employees friend walked in and impersonated my fiance with the info of just the game and pokemon cards and the employee didnt check the computer system for the preorder code and gave the game away while his friend bought the last pokemon box (cause friends). The Employee said in order to cancel the game order it would be a $10 fee?!?? For a game my fiance never received?!?! Fiance obviously said he wanted a full refund from the manager and it was granted. But super disappointed about what happened and ruined my birthday gift and my fiances time and gas money. Especially since we only wanted one box of pokemon memories and a game. And the game was given away for free. Wont be back here again.

Positive experience: I've always loved gamestop, with being a hobby of mine. There sales associates are always extremely friendly and help finding things that you might be looking for. The one thing I dislike is how low there trade in values are, compared to how much they sale pre-owned games. Yeah it's business and they got to make money, but they're trade ins just don't make it worth it. (Nothing against this store in specific, but to GameStop in its brand).
Negative experience: I'd give -100 stars if I could. Ordered a ps4 for a pickup in store. I got it home and opened the box and roaches starting crawling out of it
