Negative experience: Placed an online order and sent my fiancé to go in and get it. I put it under his name and it ended up using the name on the card for the order. No big deal for that. The big deal was the employee named Tim telling him he’s going through a divorce and don’t do it (talking about getting married) then he gets a post it note and holds up a post it note reading “Blink twice if you need help”. His coworker said that wasn’t cool and to stop joking about that so kudos to him but that other employee was extremely out of line and inappropriate. I will never return to this store.

Negative experience: Long story short, I went to pre-order "Rise of the Ronin" and the store Manager Cory, said I couldn't because it was coming out within a week and it was too late to pre-order. Definitely a first in my book. So I called another location outside the store to verify if they were doing pre-orders, and surprisingly, they said YES. I went out my way to another location wasting my gas while calling 3 other GS just verify if they were doing Pre-orders and again, all 3 location said YES! So I got my pre-order at the mall and afterward called Cory and told why he lied to me, he said, " Maybe because all 3 locations had copies". From first being because it was "too late" to pre-order and now it's because, "it's Maybe because all 3 locations have copies". Never liked Cory, he always have a SNOOTY attitude thinking he's smarter and better than you. I called Corporate and hopefully they do something with him, he's bad for business.

Positive experience: Goid selection of merchandise and kind and friendly staff

Negative experience: It's been ages since I've been to a GameStop due to lousy business practices on their part, but I recently decided it's been a while, let's give them another go, there's a couple Switch games I wouldn't mind picking up with my kid. I make the long drive and show up during business hours and there's a sign on the door saying they stepped away and it's locked. Meanwhile, they're all standing around inside just looking at me as I attempt to open the door... ...thankfully Target is right next door. Got what I needed. Try you again in another 10 years (if you still exist), GameStop!

Negative experience: Want to sell you used games for $5 less then new. Don't have many new games there

Negative experience: One star is too high for this place. I had to dance, waving my hands, in front of three employees for 1 minute to get their attention. No one else was in the store. They still didn’t get. That was the best part of the experience. I let them steal my money to get my son a remote. I should have gone to the mall. Worst ever.I don’t even have time to write the other stuff these people did.. That’s mean, I’m working on me. If you go, you’ll know what i mean. But don’t go.

Negative experience: They where so disrespectful and o called before I went they said I will get $25 off then they gave me $10 off I’m very disappointed

Fantastic experience: In all my reviews, i never felt the need to review a Gamestop. It's usually crowded, Christmas mayham. However, when visiting this Camillus store i felt an absolute need to give a shout out to Miguel for going above and beyond in Customer Service. With the crazy times we're in, stand out service has taken a decline in the retail world, but Miguel was absolutely phenomenal in helping us get the games we needed under our tree. 5 stars all the way!

Negative experience: Show up to get stuff, and the person is sitting outside vaping on the phone..with a sign saying on break until 4:05pm which I don't believe is even allowed. One customer already left because of it.

Negative experience: They basically stole my money. I’m very disappointed in them. I went in to buy two copies of a game and my card was processed and declined but was taken out of my bank. I made the store lead and associate aware of this and they told me they could do nothing on their end nor could they release the games to me they had an attitude. I have spent 3 hours being hung up on and given the run around. The store told me that they need an authorization and that could take 3-5 business days. Never again will I buy from game stop.

Positive experience: Well every year I preorder a game and this year it's a little bit of a disappointment because you go in at 6pm just to turn around and go back at 9pm to get the game. Makes no sense and a waste of time and gas. I could just gotten my game at 6pm. Plus there are no perks this year. the customer service is awesome. It's not the employee's fault. They just need to do better when releasing games.

Negative experience: Nicely kept place, but it's little more than a video game themed pawn shop out to rip you off. Only reason I gave it two stars is because the employee told me as much when I went to sell my PS4.

Fantastic experience: Always have great deals and fix accidental buys from online, often times even games being bought on ebay can be bought for less here. As an elite pro member which costs 30 bucks seems like a lot, but for gamers you will save hundreds easily. The free 2 day shipping online is amazing also so take full advantage of it. This location has extremely friendly and helpful staff who will also direct you to save more money if you miss something.

Positive experience: I've always liked this game stop. It's been close to my home and for years it's been my go-to store. I just hate how cluttered it is within the store. I understand they need to have all their product out but just moving within it is sometimes a bit difficult when there's more than four or five customers within that store.
