Negative experience: I'm not really sure what to say when you take in games to get paid.Ohh my god .29 cents you guys are making money gamestop, you really need to look at how much money you're putting out without everything I turned in.You really even wouldn't be able to get one game.Maybe you should reevaluate that as being more fair instead of a greedy corporation.Unfortunately, this will probably lead to the store closing.There is amazon in other places that are substantially cheaper.Maybe if you look that you be more fair with what you're getting in as far as trade.Instead a lot more business

Negative experience: Just had a bad experience today. I traded a Nintendo switch and my games today and I traded games here before to I think is one of the managers name a guy with a beard name Caleb. He knows me cause my mom signed up for a pro account long time ago. Name Doris if you are reading this Caleb. Anyway, today I had a bad experience with a lady with blonde hair up front name Victoria. Anyway, I was trading in a switch and some games and I gave her my number and since it’s my mom account but my number which my moms name is Doris, she couldn’t do it since my name isn’t Doris. Thankfully I had my name there so she was able to do it. Whenever I trade my other games with Caleb, he treats me nice and he knows me a lot and he does it good. And that he doesn’t have any problems with me. Victoria had a little bit of an attitude with me while trading my switch and my games. After I got my cash money from the trading, I preordered Wwe 2k25 for the ps5 a couple of weeks ago and I ask her if I could get or if I need to bring my mom (Doris) with me. She said oh if you paid it in full you need to bring her or we won’t give you the game. I was just a little bit angry about what she said.
Negative experience: Never buy instore to send to your address. Sent to the wrong place. They gave me the run around all of December. had to buy the game twice second time after Christmas. Today after a month of it being returned and getting the run around and them messing up Christmas i get a check in 3 to 5 business days. Let's see if it comes to the right address or if i have to wait another month to get a refund on my refund.

Negative experience: Bad experience, I came in to get a switch for my son and these guys are so hooked up on updating they lie. Why tell me I get a membership for free when in fact it’s coming out of one of my discounts? It’s not free… and on top of that you tried to sign me up for the premium membership and not the actual free membership. The total price was 393.09 for the switch and one game that was discounted because $25 for buying anything above $250 and also buying that particular switch so $50 in total I should have been discounted. The math wasn’t matching and I got a strange vibe fore the guy with glasses and the heavier set chick that was working with him on March 16th, 2024 at 5:20pm. I didn’t like the upscale tactics and lieing and I just didn’t like the overall vibe. This was the straw that broke the camels back and I’m officially done with gamestop

Negative experience: Horrible customer service. The employees on Saturday Febuary the 3rd turned us away. Saying that they would rather put away games then let us check out. Told us to go to the next register. The other employee didn't even acknowledge us or check us out. He was walking around the store. So we left our items and walked out. The employees are very unprofessional and rude. They are gonna put game exchange out of business.
Fantastic experience: I went in not quite sure what to get for my boyfriend, I am not a gamer and needed guidance buying him some new things such as a headset. Chad helped me and explained everything to me in a way that allowed me to make the best selection. He was outgoing and was extremely patient with me. I ended up deciding to get a controller too because Mr. Chad was an amazing salesman. Super great experience, Chad is a great employee!!!!! Such a polite guy that is educated and clearly is passionate about what he does! Give this man a promotion or raise!!!!!!
Negative experience: Cluttered. Dark. I needed a gift card and it took the person assisting me a minute (a long couple of minutes) to find them. Are all Gamestop stores like this??

Fantastic experience: The service here is always good. If I have any issues with my devices or anything theyre always willing to help! If I could give this place 10 stars I would. This is my go to GameStop!! Update: Had controller issues and Chad help us so much. Still our go to GameStop. Won't go to any other ones around here just because of how polite they are and their willingness to help and fix whatever issue you have.

Negative experience: Rude employees. Traded in some games and GameStop was advertising a 30% increased trade credit if you traded toward Skyward Sword and some other game. Asked the employee about it and she rudely told me she was a new hire so she didn’t know. Made no attempt to even find out. Then she called her manager and made me speak to him on her personal cell phone to ask about an offer literally being advertised on the TV screen right in front of me. She was just so rude. It’s okay if you don’t know, I understand you’re new, but to snap at me and make no attempt to even try to know or learn what’s going on at your job because you’re too busy flirting with your manager is unacceptable. This experience just reminded me why I started buying most of my games from Best Buy and Amazon, even Walmart employees have better customer service than what I experienced today. Employees Trevor and Paola both need more training and maybe higher-up supervision. It has been a long time since I’ve been treated so rudely at a GameStop. Shame when customers know more about deals and promotions than the employees.

Negative experience: Store is practically empty. Very few accessories for all systems. All GameStops anymore only have new games. With the growing popularity of downloading games, GameStop should stock more retail abled items, like shirts, toys, figures, and other things that nerds like. The poor employee here was nice and new his stuff but just kept repeating to other customers "We don't have any PS5/Xboxes and we don't know when we're getting any" The new GAME-ON store across from this store has cool things and is stocked up on older console goodies.

Negative experience: I called at 11:05am just to verify the amount of PS5 they sold this morning. The girls was rude and said that she can't tell me. However every game stop has told me the amount they had for sell. So I told the rude girl the game stop in Copperas Cove has the amount posted on the door. Then she changed her story and said that she won't tell me the amount because they are sold out. Why can't you say anything are YOU holding them. Horrible customer service.

Positive experience: The customer service is nothing fancy but it's what you ask for with today's in modern games. It's easier to just order online and it's even easier to save your money for deals. Pre-order ahead, don't wait. Sometimes you can run into staff that have had a bad day.

Negative experience: Bought a hard drive came home didn't work, went about bought another hard drive, worked for two days lost all my saved data, call of duty , everything , I'm stuck on mw3 on 360 and my head is doing a 720 trying to cope with not being capable enough to afford a s1 or xseries, I havnt played any recent games and I couldn't stream to save my life , I can't even keep my partners internet bill paid, but when low times hits GameStop is the stop I just hate spending $60 on used games I go back probably a week later and get $8 in store credit.....GameStop has to stop, hurry up Amazon and close out more stores so we can all stay inside and work and order and work order out our schedule
