Fantastic experience: always amazing clearance apparel. The manager here is hands down the best person, calm cool and collective. the pokemon prices are a bit disappointing. still better the fighting a scalper in line lol.

Negative experience: It's a hit or miss with customer service. Sometimes the employees know when they have a sale on specific products and sometimes they don't, which is odd if you're the manager or the only person working that day. The same goes for product release days, sometimes the night shift does not put the correct items out for the morning staff or the put the wrong product out. Mind you, customers are not always in the know about monthly sale ads. I only decided to stop buy because I remembered I needed a specific product from here, but now I am definitely gonna rethink my decision.

Negative experience: Selling items at almost an $80 markup than other retailers and then not disclosing up front about a zero return final sale policy.... Purchased item $200 left. The store did a little research and found out the product is available at other locations for $120 went back to the store that I also spend quite a bit of money at to return the product as I do not feel comfortable paying scalper prices to be told it's a final sale product with a zero return policy. Corporate is zero. Help cannot get a hold of anybody that can give me any information. Just an endless loop of customer support, prompts and disconnecting... If GameStop values repeat customers, they should probably address this issue

Negative experience: Was supposed to be open at 11am from what the sign says, tried calling the store with no answer or way to leave a message. Would have loved to christmas shop as its my only real day off. We waited until 12:10 before we finally left.

Negative experience: Went to test a ps5 before buying, I bought from someone on Marketplace and the associate said he wouldn’t test the console for me. I live an hour away I always go to GameStop I will not be doing business with them anymore. No such thing as common courtesy anymore I guess. Ps I was gonna go in there and check out some ps5 games afterwards as well but not anymore, that’s how you lose business

Negative experience: If I could give zero stars I would! I’ve been a power up rewards member for years and always pre order my games and systems but for the last few months I have not received a call for my pre orders being released and today is the last straw! I find out through my son (he’s grown and doesn’t live in this state) that a game I preordered has been out for a while now and I go to pick it up and guess what they sold all the copies even though they had my deposit and had the nerve to say I took to long to come get my copy. Excuse me how am I supposed to know if you don’t call like you assured me you would. Don’t worry this will not happen again as I canceled all of my future preorders and will take my business elsewhere! I completely understand why your struggling to stay in business now!

Fantastic experience: I would like to personally thank the one individual with the long locs in his hair. He was extremely polite and even offered to help me and my sister set up an award program. Positive experience: Customer service was the only good thing I saw. At least with one guy. He was nice and offered to price check something for me and also he heard my son talking about halo and asked which one we wanted and looked it up to see if they had it in stock. They did not. They hardly had any good games at all for xbox. Prices on products are to much for my tastes. Used games are good deals though. Also it took 30 mins to check out with 2 employees. Both had 1 costumer each. One person trading games/console, and 1 that was buying a game and a controller. That was ridiculous.

Negative experience: I went in looking for some new games to play and the worker named ‘Dragon’ was talking very inappropriately while working. He was talking about beating up Mike Tyson, hitting his kids when (if) he as any and then killing the jury if he goes to court for it. I find it extremely disturbing to talk that way in front of customers and if he can’t censor himself, he shouldnt be working in customer service. I will be going to corporate for this as well because it honestly ruined my day to hear that while browsing to where I just walked out. Be better Dragon.

Negative experience: Went to this location to trade in my Xbox One S for a new Series S. The lady behind the counter told me she couldn’t take it for trade because I factory reset it and therefor was “suspicious”. I explained that the reason I factory reset the device was because I had several different profiles on it for myself and friends and each profile contained sensitive information such as names, addresses, phone numbers, and not to mention credit card or PayPal information. The lady told me I had to take the device home, put my account on the device, and then bring it back. I live over 20 minutes away and this is the nearest location to me. She said she didn’t make the rules. So I go back home, hook the system back up, sign into my account, but I put a pin on it this time so that once it’s traded in I’ll know my information is secure. I travel back to the GameStop. There’s a different person behind the counter this time. A man. This guy proceeds to act completely unprofessionally. He is cursing up a storm and I’m standing there with my 5 year old daughter. Then he taunts her about wanting a big oversized eevee plushie which causes her to get upset so I had her mother take her out of the store. The guy turns on my Xbox and then I sign into my account. He proceeds to tell me that he cannot take the console unless I give him the pin to my Microsoft account. There is an option to bypass signing into an account, and my personal password/pin is no necessary to factory reset the device. I asked him to be 1000% clear that I had to provide GameStop the credentials to my personal Microsoft account with access to my credit cards, PayPal, and sensitive information or they would not let me trade in my console. His response was that “those are the rules” and that if I was “uncomfortable” I was free to leave. This is absolutely unacceptable. I have traded in a treasure trove of consoles over the years at GameStop and have never been treated like a thief like this, or been told I’ve gotta fork over keys to any theoretical castle. Im going to Best Buy tomorrow to make the trade and purchase the new console. They are offering 20$ LESS than what Gameslop is, but after having a large portion of my time wasted and being insanely disrespected I don’t think I could ever go back. I mostly purchase digitally now a days. This was the nail in the coffin for me. Company is out of its mind anymore.

Negative experience: Ripped me off. $80 for brand new joycons, opened them up at home just to find out they’re both broken, drive all the way back here just for them to tell me they won’t let me return them. Said that they can’t take returns for anything out of the box. How was I supposed to know they were broken when I bought them??? Cashier also seemed to be implying that I was lying, as if I had literally anything to gain from returning broken controllers? To add insult to injury, they offered me $14 as a “trade in”. Absolutely absurd. Never shopping here again, and sending a warning to not buy new from here because they won’t be good on their return policy.

Negative experience: Tell me how I showed up at 7:52 and the store was closed. Some non employee told me was waiting for someone to come at 9 and the employee locked the doors and went in the back. So the store is closed for no reason, during business hours. How do people like this keep their jobs. This is ridiculous.

Negative experience: I ordered a product on Jan 17th, was told it would ship in 1-3 days. It didn't arrive. I looked at the receipt, Antonio, (So Rude Rude Boy). I will never return there. Gave him the phone number, and he says oh yeah, I see it in the system. Well he started calling off all these wrong names, then he did is this it, I told him yes, I was calling out the address, and again, he said, I got it. Well he didn't put the apt # ,as I reported the address. Went back on 1/24, and told him he didn't put the number, he says, that's what was in the systems. But he didn't put the unit number. He told me, well take it up with corporate. Come to find out, it was returned to the warehouse, because of his eagerness, to rush me out of the store, because they were getting ready to close. Just Rude, I will never return to visit Antonio .

Negative experience: I found a family that doesn't have much and couldn't afford Christmas for their children. I found out someone gave the kids a PS4 but no controllers. So I ordered 2 from Gamestop at 12:45 pm today and they said the controllers will be delivered by 8 pm. Well, guess what, at 8 pm I get an email saying they canceled my order. Thank you, GameStop for screwing me over and messing up a child's wish. I will not be doing service with this company anymore.

Fantastic experience: My preferred GameStop on the Westside. Manager there is awesome, and you can tell the work environment is top tier. The staff at this location also do a great job, which makes it a good store to visit. They're also adept at handling issues with online orders as GameStop continues to build out it's e-commerce arm. Negative experience: I thought I had wrote my experience during 2020 but I guess not. Talk about Thieves. They basically stole 30 dollars from me because they would not accept my Debit card or cash to pay off the rest of my Pre-order for FF7 remake. They told me to go guy GameStop gift cards from Walmart which is idiotic. Its 2022 and still don't have it. Have not and will not shop at any GameStop ever again.

Fantastic experience: My husband and I went in to see if anything was available for our Wii U to play with the grandkids. I was so impressed with the two associates who welcomed us. One walked with us to the ‘old’ game system’ section and also informed us that the T-shirts were on sale. What impressed me the most was a young lad and his dad came in to pick up an order, the associate informed the dad of the games rating and read the entire rating information to the dad and before the transaction was completed the associate once again confirmed the dad was aware of rating and completed purchase. I believe that ratings are a guide for children and not applicable to each user. But to take that ownership of the product you are selling and inform the customer was well done in my opinion.

Negative experience: They never answer the phone, they will pick up and just hang up immediately so they don’t hear it ring. Every time I call to check on my pre orders they never answer but when I’m there they say to call and ask, it’s kind of a joke at this point.

Negative experience: Most all games have to be ordered including the pre-owned games. Was super disappointed when I took the kids to pick games. Then the staff let us know that basically the store is just a "catalog games even pre-owned have to be ordered".

Negative experience: We have been to three GameStop stores today. And had great experiences until we arrived at this one. We had to wait in a line for about 20 minutes to enter the store. This would not normally be a problem. However, once inside we noticed that the largest store we have been to is only allowing two groups of people in at a time, meaning a group of five could enter after an individual leaves or vice versa. The shelves and stock were not fully stocked despite having three staff members inside. Staff locks the door behind you as you enter. To top it all off, as we left disappointed the staff member whose only job appears to be locking and unlocking the door "joked" with us about the lack of stock. We would never recommend this store to anyone.
