Negative experience: Guy behind the counter (assume the manager) was rude and told another associate to take something away from us just because we were looking at it… seems a bit absurd considering all I was doing was looking at a product I was interested in. Won’t be visiting this GameStop again very unwelcoming environment. (Manager needs to grow up people go to a store to look at stuff)

Negative experience: bought a ps5 from gamestop with a 7 day return policy, manager was very rude and told me i cannot return it. worst place to buy any games or consoles. go to walmart and get cheaper prices and better customer service.

Negative experience: I rarely seem to have a good experience with GameStop anymore, especially this location. Stopped in today to try to support, cuz I grew up as a gamer kid, but since I didn't pre-order a game, they told me I'd have to order on gamestop.com. I drove over to Walmart where they had two dozen copies on the shelf. Previous review, they turned down my son's cash a half hour before closing time, because the employee already closed out the cash drawer. From yet another previous review... If your not one of their Power Up members the customer does not seem to exist. I feel like I should be able to give less than one star when I've tried to review this place poorly three times

Negative experience: How is you are open at 12 pm and close before 8 pm that's not even 8 hours of work. On top of the fact every that can buy stuff works a real world and get off and 5 pm or 6 pm and then you are gonna be closed. Absolutely trash business model.

Negative experience: They keep nothing in stock. All kinds of new games and every single one I wanted wasn’t in stock at this store. Ended up going to Best Buy and getting three games that Game stop didn’t have.

Negative experience: I went to buy a headset tonight. I get to the counter and the guy asks if I want the protection plan. I state clearly “No”. He speeds through the total amount and tries to say that my total is way higher than it should be. I stop, pause, and when he sees the confusion on my face says, “Oh, let me get that protection plan off.” This is without me saying a word about the protection plan, so clearly he knew that I didn’t want it. Absolutely disgusting. Avoid.

Fantastic experience: Great, friendly staff. Doesn't judge when an ignorant middle-aged mom-of-boys comes in with questions from games and accessories to price comparisons. Being judged in the past for not fitting a stereotype and wanting to get into gaming was something I had in the past so you can imagine it felt good to not deal with that. They are great to little kids, too and even gave my son a couple extra promo cards for his brothers because they all really love the game that the promo card were for. This game stop in particular is our favorite for staff friendliness and helpfulness and location.

Negative experience: Your employees made us lose $15 in online credits when we tried to use them in the store. When we called to try and get them back, we couldn't get ANYONE on the phone to help. Still haven't gotten a call back or anyone on the phone.

Fantastic experience: James is by far one of our favorite employees that work here. I wouldn’t call myself a gamer but my kids are huge fans of Pokemon. James matches their enthusiasm and always has tips for their Pokémon adventures. Most of the staff are so friendly and enjoy gaming. We appreciate them so much!

Negative experience: Terrible service, manager on phone while the place was full of customers. Refused to replace my PS5 that I have full warranty on, within the 1year coverage. My Playstation has been overheating and shutting off and he tried to tell me that there was nothing wrong with it and would not replace it. So now i have to waste my time and my gas to go to another location because of this reckless and clueless manager.

Negative experience: Everything in store is overpriced, even the clearance. The app says save an additional 50 percent off already clearanced items but in store says the price is as marked and won't give any additional mark down. Prices are basically full price for the clearance. This is why GameStop is losing money.

Negative experience: Went in with my husband on Nov 3rd to trade in some games. The gentleman working asked my husband if he wanted to renew his power up rewards. Initially we said no. The guy persisted. Told us it has changed and they pay you monthly. He explained that you could come into the store every month and pick up a physical gift card which you could then save up through the year if you wanted and possibly get a brand new game at the end. My husband only buys physical copies so this detail was important to us. We opted in and paid the $15. Today we go in to get his gift card and they tell us that if he takes the physical gift card, it expires at the end of the month. He explained this wasn't what the employee sold us on and they basically didn't care that their employee misrepresented the program entirely. I plan on calling to speak direct with the manager tomorrow when I have the time and I expect to discuss not Only being refunded or given a gift card for the amount of the rewards program, but a promise that these employees will be retrained on the program and how it works.

Positive experience: Their new Subscription Program is now actually worth it. You get the magazine, but also get $5 per month to spend in store. You can even use it to buy gift cards. Might be GameStops way back into the hearts of consumers.

Fantastic experience: I'm a gamer what more can I say this place is my home away from home they just need some seating and a snack bar and a couple arcade games and a couple consoles and screens and it would be amazing. Plus it could help with all the social anxiety issue's that kids face today because of social media dictating there lives.

Negative experience: Picked out a game in the used section. Need for speed underground for x box 360. Went to pay for it and they said we don’t have this game but we have this need for speed game for $19.99. The one I wanted was $7.99. So you put games out you don’t have? In reality it’s your mistake and you should have gave me the newer game at the same price for your screw up. I will never shop again, and last stop cd shop down the road has the same game you tried to sell me for $8 for $5. So again I will never be a customer to your overpriced games and poor quality control of what games you may or may not have.

Positive experience: The service is good the requirement of management making every associate ask you to pre-order every game on the book ask you to purchase every warranty for every system disk controller everything they sell just so they can boost their overall profit is getting really tiring it's on a surprise but they're closing over half their stores

Negative experience: Currently sitting in front of gamestop on arrowhead pkwy. It's 10:25am. The store "opens" at 10am yet it is still closed. I want to pick up a game I ordered. Nearly 30 min late from store opening. Been sitting here waiting since 9:55am. Unacceptable.

Fantastic experience: Your usual GameStop but the associate helping me was great. Greets everyone who walks in. Spent time talking to me about games when the place was empty (he knew his stuff). Helped correct my address in the system before I left and offered me a copy of the latest Game Informer. Good job Alan! Would shop again.

Positive experience: The Arrowhead location is my favorite because it's not too busy and also close to my home. They've had some hard times over there but I've only had one interaction that left me wanting more. Usually everyone is friendly and informed and the store is in good shape but please FIX THE FRONT DOOR hahaha.

Positive experience: I don't remember being here for sure, but I foggly think this is where my son wanted this game that game this game times 10. A poster, mug, doll, action figure, new controller, game system, 300 page guide book, new car, little figures, giant foam battle axe, and spin in circles while running off at the mouth until my head exploded. Yep they have lots of self sustaining babysitting items to keep your kid occupied and quite for days where the only sound you will heard after the game is paused is the bathroom flush and when's dinner mom.

Negative experience: Dont come here if you're just trying to buy a game, actually I wouldn't recommend coming here at all. Employees are rude, I was standing there for 20 minutes while the clerk joked around with his friend completely ignoring me. I never did get my game, you would have better luck finding someone at Walmart to help you.

Positive experience: I personally really like going to Gamestop for all my videogames and preorders. They have a huge selection of video games, and keep getting more. Everyone there is really nice, and is always nice. A lot of the prices are much though. But overall, it's a pretty nice place to got to!

Positive experience: Here's the thing: GameStop isn't a great company. They overcharge and pay way too little when they buy. That's corporate policy. But this GameStop has amazing employees. Helpful, polite and funny. There aren't many reasons to go to a GameStop, but this store has all the reasons you would.

Positive experience: It's a smaller store but everytime I go in they're always nice! They are understanding and will help you find what you need, or if need be call in to other stores or look online if they don't have it. The merchandise is always fun to look at as compared to other stores. Cute or action this is the place to start!
