Negative experience: This store is a joke. They had one girl working who knew nothing. The couple in front of us weren’t allowed to hold and read the box a backbone they were interested. Then I was next asking to buy the semi hard card sleeves they require for PSA grading. she knew and refused to look up or call anyone telling me to try another location where someone might more know. Horrible managment.

Negative experience: When I arrived there, this guy that wears a mask, never spoke or mentioned his name, was very rude about another Gamestop calling to see if a game was still available before i left that store. I thought you guys worked together. I shouldn't feel uncomfortable spending money. Luckily, that lady was nice and made my Wife feel comfortable He needs coaching. Or a Black eye for Black Friday. Negative experience: Dirty store, staff still had a mask on because you know that’s been proven to work, and sold me non working disks. When called to ask about an exchange was told not our policy or problem.

Negative experience: I went in to buy an OLED Switch. After confirming they have one in stock I said I would take it. The GameStop employee started in on their rewards. I stated I didn’t want any rewards or warranties just the switch for cash and he didn’t need to go over all of it. He responded with “well you’re going to hear it”. I said I can just leave if you won’t just sell me the switch to which he said “okay bye”. Lost a sale and a customer….

Negative experience: They need more training. I bought a games and was told i can get a refund if the person wasn't happy. So i went back to return it only to find out i couldn't since it came with code even though it wasn't scratched off . I wasn't aware it was a digital copy since it didn't say it on the front or back of box but it said it on the side in very tiny print. If its a digital copy they should tell the customer it can not be returned and not lie and say it could be. I will not be shopping there anymore. I will just shop either online or local game stores.

Negative experience: They allegedly open 11 AM on Monday. I waited from 11:50 to 11:55 with no one in there. Then a person comes up and he unlocks the store. I try to go in and he told me to wait outside for 10 minutes. Truly never seen this kinda thing before. If your hours changed, update the sign outside and Google maps. If they didn't, show up on time. And if your stores are understaffed, well that's a much bigger issue.

Negative experience: I called in advance and came in to preorder a game, only to find that the single employee working had stepped out from 4:35-5:10. STAFF YOUR STORES. The employees should not have to close stores randomly, this is pretty clearly not her fault (she was very kind on the phone) but instead the fault of purposeful understaffing during a slow season

Negative experience: Beware: If you purchase a gaming system from GS and it has a defect/ malfunction, do not try bringing it back for help My kid’s switch stopped reading game disks 6 months after purchase. I brought it in and they offered for me to trade it in for $69 towards a new system I said no thank you and left. Turns out, all I had to do was contact Nintendo directly and they repaired it 100% free of charge. They even covered the shipping So what would have happened had I not kept my faulty console, left there, and contacted Nintendo myself? It doesn’t take rocket science to figure out that GameStop would have collected my +$69, then cashed in on the +$300 purchase of my new system, then sent my old one in for repair to Nintendo (free of charge), then sold it as used or refurbished for… I don’t know, +$200? So in short, I walked away with a repaired system without paying a dime, but not because of GameStop. It was because of Nintendo’s excellent service Had I fell into that GameStop trap, they would have walked away with +$569(ish) and I would be in no better position (just out a lot more money) Oh and by the way, they reminded me that I hadn’t purchased the GameStop warranty. Which is a scam in itself, because Nintendo includes a warranty for free No doubt this is a greater GameStop scheme and no fault of this individual franchisee. Just putting this out there for others to be aware of in the future.

Fantastic experience: We picked up TOTK on release day. It might sound silly to pre-order a digital game for pick-up, but the GameStop experience made it well worth it. The clerk Alexis was a one woman army that handled the crowd of Zelda nerds and non-stop phone calls with grace and kindness.

Negative experience: Ordered the GOW:Ragnarok Ps5 bundle for next day pick up. I keep calling but no one is answering the phones? According to a lot of reviews, this store is notorious for not being open when they say they are going to be.

Positive experience: Listen, I'm not going to get into the GS memes here. I'm just going to say, if you're running only one employee on a Saturday, make sure they know how to handle a crowd of guests. I only needed 2 little things that totaled less than $10, but I got stuck behind 2 people selling back dozens of games at a time. I was probably in there for close to 40min. Like, you know what I needed, because I asked you where it was. It was behind the counter and you grabbed it for me. Maybe if you know one transaction is going to take 30 seconds (even asking all the transactional questions eg phone number, rewards, down payment for future releases etc), ask the people who's transaction is going to take 15+ minutes if they'd mind waiting for the quick one. I don't know, maybe it's a me thing. Either way, they had what I needed, and more stuff than I could shake a stick at. If I made more money, I'd probably be in there a lot more. But as it is, I got what I wanted/needed at on a minor inconvenience.

Fantastic experience: Seriously got some of the best customer service of my life here. I'm not a gamer, but my partner is, and he asked for something very specific. I was unable to speak gamer lingo very well, but Max and the manager on duty hooked me up with an item within my budget. My partner is positively thrilled with his new FusionPro controller--he won't stop gushing about it. I was greeted by an extremely friendly and helpful staff that didn't make fun of me for not knowing what I was talking about. Will absolutely return.

Fantastic experience: I have been there twice in the last week for Christmas shopping and had to return one item. Max was very helpful! I also don't play video games and they were great for suggestions on what was appropriate and fun for a 4 and 7 year old.

Positive experience: Long time customer here, been playing, buying and selling games since the 80's. Long before Gamestop. Went in to sell a couple of games a few weeks back. Thanks to Covid-19 stuff my ID is expired and even though I bought them at gamestop it turned into a huge hassle where I ended up flagging a bystanderd down to borrow his ID to sell them their own stuff back. So disappointing guys. Gave you 4 stars cause I love ya. Come on though really.

Negative experience: Knowledgeable staff here, and not a direct stab at the staff, but i also know that they could be more honest. Aswell as being clear to customers who call with educated questions prior to going to store in order to help make not only my time but aswell as the employee's time more productive and smoothly for the transaction not to mention honesty is key to customer satisfaction. Also i would advise everyone to DO NOT TRADE/SWAP OR "SELL" YOUR CONSOLE'S WITH GAMESTOP, ITS A SCAM. Because apparently if you go there and SELL them a xbox one s 1tb(although im quite sure it was 2tb) console only with a broken hdmi out port($3-$5+30min) and want to take that money and use it to BUY a pre-owned same exact system and specs as mentioned but in a "pre-owned bundle" (which has cords and wireless controller and not always but often a game) will then be switched to a TRADE IN and they take your cords and controller(this is the scam)Very disappointed here, spent alot of money at gamestop in past 10 years and even called prior to going to store and even expressed(in a calm manner) how displeased i was with the way the transaction turned out(because during it was a confusing and busy time so i just payed the balance without knowing what all just took place) and to not much of damn was given, but many corprate text book answers/excuses were! Because well at that point they had my money and knew my son and wife were with me and there was no turning back. Its a shame because this was all pre-owned merchandise so it cost around $30-$40 at very most that the company would of not profit from i guess you could say. Small gain but much bigger loss. As of now me + 6 other's will no longer make any purchases from gamestop.

Positive experience: Powerup rewards has changed for the worse. Less discounts on pre-owned games. Associates in store were not very knowledgeable about Switch titles and couldn't offer reccomendations. Was ready to spend money on a few titles if the employees could have suggested games I would have liked. Lost opportunity, I guess.

Negative experience: Gamestop will not let you return a console even if you have only used it one time unlike BestBuy's return policy. The employees are nice but I personally believe that Gamestop has some unethical business practices. Be careful!

Negative experience: Bought battlefield brand new and there's writing on the outside of the case from a previous owner and the disc is scratched and dirty. This place is full of dishonest people selling used games saying there brand new. DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS LOCATION

Positive experience: This is a quality gamestop. Theres a bunch in the area, but none of them have the emphasis on customer service that this one does. Its location is convenient right at knapps corner and its store is clean and well organized. If I had to choose between this one and the one at woodland this is the choice for sure.

Negative experience: I went to the store to buy a 5 dollar game. The only person working was the manager and there was one person in line, but it took a solid 20 minutes to do a trade in and the manager never once said I’m sorry this is taking so long or offered to simply ring me up which when it finally happened took him about 30 seconds. Another issue I have with the store is their trades are terrible the give you barely anything and then turn around and then insanely mark up the prices.
