Positive experience: Great place to get Collectibles and game accessories. Sadly, with games on both console and PC going to all digital I can't find a game there I don't already have access to at home. It is becoming the only place to find physical copies of xbox games though, so I still buy titles from gamestop if it's a game I love. Prices there are equivalent to what you'd find at manufacturers websites. Figures are fairly priced, and prices over all are competitive with other companies.

Negative experience: I would like to preface this by saying that the employees here are great, and did nothing wrong. My issue isn't with them, it's with the company. I stopped in to pre-order an upcoming major release, but I was unable to due to the system not allowing any more pre-orders for the particular (non limited edition) version that I wished to buy. There were numerous other sources where I could pre-order said version of the game. Since Gamestop dropped the ball, one of those other sources got my money. It's no wonder this company is failing spectacularly. Thank you to the employees for doing their best, again, you guys were great.

Negative experience: This gamestop is trash, worker Austin said he would hold something from me even made him promise cause I had to drive an hour there and he said he would. They had 3 left so no problem per his words. I get there in less than an hour and he tells me they were sold. Someone bought them all they were pre-ordered. Which is a lie cause cause it was in store drop only AND had a limit to 1 per person. AUSTIN MAKES THIS PLACE TRASH

Negative experience: Went to trade in a PS5 console at this store and had a very frustrating experience. The employee asked if I wanted cash or trade credit, and I asked for cash. He asked if I had venmo, he tried to put it on a gamestop store card, and he asked for my debit card number, which I did not give. He finally relented and gave me the cash. He was quite unprofessional with his language, and made my experience very frustrating.

Negative experience: This is a very disappointing store. We were there yesterday looking for a PS5 controller. There appeared to be 3 workers in the store. 2 at the registers and another. Apparently only one person could do anything. We were standing next to the controllers and were asked to wait while the person finished a transaction for another customer. (This was a 5-10 minute wait.)While waiting for that transaction to finish, it got moved to another register with a different worker. We asked a question about the controller and it was answered. We asked if we could get one (they are locked on a hook). We were told that we would have to wait for this worker to test a game system. The same worker who told use we needed to wait until after he finished the transaction that he moved to the other worker. Needless to say we walked of Game Stop and went to a different store. We were greeted promptly and had a new controller in under a minute. This store had about 3 people working also. Answered our question quickly. Save yourself some frustration and walk to the other side of the mall.

Negative experience: 4:31pm 12/16/2024 Went to ask about grading my cards and to purchase 4 items, cashier was rude and wouldn't simply answer my questions without attitude. He dropped my change into the counter when my hand was out as well. Not impressed y'all need better attitudes.

Positive experience: My gamestop experience is a 1 star, but my experience with Ella at Gateway was a 5 star. I originally ordered 2 games, and a whole xbox showed up at my door. I called gamestop they told me to take it in store. Once in store, they wouldnt help me and told me to call online. Called online again and they said theyd send me an email. Didnt send the email. Called again, sent me the email, told me to go back in store. I went in store again and Ella was happy to help, happy to be there, and helped me get this fixed. If the manager reads this, strongly consider her for a raise or a bonus as she did what you should want your employees to do. Top notch customer service.

Negative experience: if i could give someone negative stars i would, the managers at this location have absolutely no business be a decent manager. in fact the female manager hung up the phone on me when i asked why they were ok with selling such un usable products and false advertising about the return policy. i would advice anyone who is looking to get any new or used products to not at this location! save yourself the time and definitely the money.

Negative experience: So but experience my wife bought a game for my children. My children checked the game after left the store, then return for change game. The elderly man who served her told my wife that since she did not understand English well then he had to leave his store without returning the full money. Atención malísima. Fantastic experience: Me and my husband always check put GameStop when we drive to Lincoln. This last trip he found Fire Emblem Shadow Dragon complete in box for a decent price. Every once in awhile they have nice gems like that.

Negative experience: If I could give negative stars i would this GameStop is the absolute worst game store I've ever been to they put things in wrong packaging so when you try to return them for your warranty they won't have to follow it so you always have to double check to make sure they did their job right even though you're not getting paid you're paying that this place is garbage and should go out of business the management at this location is absolute garbage they never help all they do is talk down to you and think they're better then you because they have manager in their title and they're too power hungry to understand that means nothing

Negative experience: This store needs an overhaul. The girl in the picture name is diamond and she is rude and disrespectful. I called the store she didn’t even answer the phone. I got up to the store and she declining phone calls and just leaning on the counter texting. I walk in the store finally after three calls that keep getting declined. She didn’t even acknowledge me or the other customers. She needs to be terminated if she can’t help customers or answers questions or calls.

Negative experience: I will try to keep this injustice situation short: On 10/15/2023 @ about 1600 my family of 6 decided to go to Gamestop. My 10 year old was accompanied by my teenager as they were walking into the store, when they were immediately kicked out becuse they were not accompanied by adults. So they turned around and walked back to us. We weren't far as we my wife and I along with our 2 youngest were right behind them headed the same way. We all entered, my two oldest went to try out the new Mario Wonder game before we pre-order it. My wife went to browse the merchandise, as she looked at the mugs the employee yelled at her from over the counter. He yelled"don't touch that stuff" with an aggressive attitude. My wife tried to explain to him that she is interested and would like to observe it closely. The employee continued to yell and not give her a chance to explain. I stepped in and asked how are we to know what's the price without touching it as there was not a price on the shelf. The employee continued to get agitated and told us to get out from the store. We tried to ignore the confrontation but he threatened us with calling security on us. So we decided to leave even though we were not causing any harm. Before I left I asked for hid name and refused to give and store number which he gave me a false store number. Which I found out becuse, I called corporate to report the situation. So we didn't get to pre-order Mario wonder or to purchase anymerchandise. As I called corporate right outside the store. Other customers coming out from Gamestop were telling us they were sorry we had to go through that and that it was unacceptable. One customer even added they were browsing the same items and were not even confronted. In that short time frame another "colored" customer (I hate to say it like that) was also kicked out for touching merchandise that were not breakable. There's more to the story but, tried to keep it short. I don't recommend this store. It was a very unprofessional and a not family friendly environment.

Negative experience: Horrible!! Cody was so rude!!!! Game I bought yesterday doesn't work and pretty much said to bad.. can't wait to talk to manager. Definitely don't care about their customers. And all.the employees were standing around talking while like 4 different people all waited to be helped. If you have bad merchandise and still sell it. Better business Bureau will be called.

Negative experience: I recently had a terrible experience at GameStop that left me feeling scammed and frustrated. I purchased a wired controller for $39.99 and was convinced by the salesperson that I needed a year warranty for an additional $10. They assured me that if any issues arose with the controller, I could simply bring it back to the store and have it fixed or replaced. However, when I encountered a problem with the controller and visited GameStop to take advantage of the warranty, the store staff informed me that I didn't have a warranty at all. To make matters worse, they demanded that I show them a card that I was never provided with at the time of purchase. It was clear that GameStop had no intention of honoring their promises, and I felt like a victim of a scam. What angers me the most is the blatant deception and lack of accountability from GameStop. They misled me into paying extra for a warranty that they conveniently "forgot" to provide. It's unbelievable that a reputable retailer would engage in such deceptive practices. It's disheartening to think that they prioritize making a quick buck over the satisfaction and trust of their customers. Had I known GameStop's true intentions, I would have never fallen for their scam. I could have easily purchased a new controller from a different store, saving myself the money and the headache. GameStop's false promises and refusal to rectify the situation have tarnished my perception of the company, and I strongly advise others to be cautious when dealing with them. In conclusion, GameStop's warranty scheme is nothing more than a deceitful ploy to squeeze extra money out of unsuspecting customers. Don't be fooled by their false assurances and empty promises. Save yourself the disappointment and avoid GameStop for your gaming needs. There are plenty of reputable alternatives out there that will provide better service and genuine warranties.

Negative experience: I went there yesterday 4/14/2023 around 3pm with my husband and twins. We bought a strike pack for our Xbox controller. When we walked in the cashier was on the phone ranting about some one I’m assuming that was interviewed talking about his availability. There was us, and four other people waiting to be helped. She then called someone I think on her personal phone. I’m not really sure. But, her attitude was just sh!tty. Well fast forward, we got home. Attempted to use the striker pack and it wouldn’t work. Wouldn’t turn on. Nothing. We had everything plugged in, updated the software, everything. We went back today 4/15/2023 around 1230 pm. She was there again standing behind the counter texting on her phone. There was a nice gentleman that greeted me almost immediately after walking in. I told him the item wasn’t working and we had just bought it yesterday and I’d like a refund. He turned to the other two employees (one being the girl from yesterday) and another gentleman. He told them I wanted to return the item because it wasn’t working. She didn’t want to allow them to do it. One of the gentleman was like “well, she just bought it literally less than 24 hours ago and it’s defective. That’s not her fault.” She complained the box was torn. He said “what does it matter? We are returning it as defective. This isn’t her fault. I’m flexible with the return policy but, it’s up to you.” She rolled her eyes turned to the original guy helping me and goes “I guess we are returning it as defective.” Like, miss ma’am. I paid for something that’s not working… why would I keep it and why should it be blamed on me? The box is torn but, it literally doesn’t work. Honestly I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone UNLESS only the gentlemen are working. The lady is beyond rude for no reason and unprofessional.

Negative experience: Called them and the lady seemed a bit rude after I attempted to explain my questions on giving them a bunch of x box games for just a single original Nintendo game. She cut me off and says “we take very few x box 360 games”. Well, ok then, bye. The reality of it is that I would probably still pay my own money for that game, even if they didn’t want any of my Xbox games, but not with that condescending attitude when I get cut off trying to explain. Gamers doesn’t answer phone or seem to be open it seems either…. Lol These people are just jokes that willingly lose business. I’ll check eBay instead.

Negative experience: Wish I could give 0 stars. Staff is rude and condescending, and they routinely will withhold pre-orders and pre-order bonuses you paid for with your own money. Management especially shows that they don't care how customers are treated. Witnessed an old couple who obviously weren't "gamers" trying to ask if they had any PS5's in stock, and the manager couldn't have been more rude to them. He loudly scoffed and said that, "no one in their right mind should even ask that question." Multiple personal experiences and stories from friends about this location have pushed me to leave this review, and for reference i don't leave reviews for anything, even if i have a bad experience. By the way, the South Point Gamestop is much nicer with much more helpful staff. Don't shop here.

Negative experience: Time after time I'm proven that this location isn't worth shopping at. I've had numerous poor experiences but today was unacceptable. I pre-ordered a game months ago that came with a bonus for ordering in advance, when I arrived to pick up the game I was told I would NOT be receiving the bonus as they are only being given to paid pro members. This is not and has never been a policy but the rude worker told me "You either renew the membership or you walk out with nothing". I know they don't care, but they've lost a long time customer.

Negative experience: Vanessa was mean and said I was prank calling and that the cops were calling my mom.. I was just asking if they had MW3 for the Xbox 360. Horrible customer service. 0/10 wouldn't recommend calling unless you want the cops calling your mom.
