Fantastic experience: Waseem provided good customer service. It made my decision buying purposes, easy.

Fantastic experience: What an excellent experience I had today. Waseem was both extremely knowledgeable and attentive to my needs. I had no idea what I needed to do to get into gaming again after going through a divorce. Waseem really helped me out and broke it down step by step so that I could understand. Don't pass this place up without giving them a chance!

Negative experience: Not impressed

Negative experience: Went in today and bought a game. Price says 15.99 but they charged me 20.99. when I pointed it out the cashier said they changed the price in the computer but didn't put a new sticker on it shrugged and walked off like it wasn't his problem.

Negative experience: Offers less than gamestop for trade ins. Not much selection. Was very disappointed in what the store became over the years.

Negative experience: If I could give them less than one start I would, bought a controller they claimed they tested to make sure it worked, got home and of course it didn’t. Despite the receipt and them acknowledging the controller didn’t work, they wouldn’t give a refund. Don’t buy from here. (I’m sure this will be considered another “fake” review)

Negative experience: It is 5:50pm monday February 9th and the store is closed. Thanks for wasting my time.

Fantastic experience: I went there with my daughter who's never been in there before and she was overwhelmed by all the Kool stuff and games that gamers love! It wasn't my first time but enjoyed the excitement and enthusiasm my daughter experienced in Gamers! She's definitely excited about coming back to get more stuff, lmao!

Negative experience: Purchased a new Wii remote that didn’t work and despite having a receipt was unable to return it. But hey, at least they’ll buy it back from me for 95% less than what I paid for it!

Positive experience: Have a decent amount of older games and fee accessories. Prices didnt seem to bad

Negative experience: Someone didn't want to work. Sitting behind the counter with lock doors during business hrs.

Originally, I added this in store for a discount, and wanted to include more info* I have since been back once before! I have had so much fun looking through the cards and talking with the folks there. Kale and her husband were so kind and it felt like a wonderful local place to purchase cards. But, everyone I have worked with has been kind and helpful. I never felt rushed, in the way, or needy when I asked to see different boxes and things. Folks there even looked to see if there were particular cards I might like and inquired about my interests and price range. Amazing customer service. My ONLY harp is that pricing isn't super clear. If you're someone who isn't a fan of asking for prices, it could be frustrating for you, so fair warning. I can sometimes be this way too, but folks were so helpful that this feeling went away quickly. Overall, I would suggest this shop to anyone and everyone looking to purchase cards.

Negative experience: Edit: I want to circle back on this as it's been over 6 years and I see that they have recently "reopened" What a crock. Same ownership, I'm still going to avoid. I'm 6 years wiser and I still am bitter about my interaction with you idiots. I make way more money now and will not spend a penny at your store. --- Bought a defective (used) headset from them. I lost the receipt, but you're willing to lose business over an $8 xbox 360 headset? Headset still had your barcode on it and everything. Anyways asked for an exchange, wouldn't give one, but you didn't have to RUB in my face that YOU TEST EVERY ITEM BEFORE YOU TAKE IT IN. That is what frustrated me. Don't tell me this BS when you sold me a defective headset and do not honor switching it out. I will never ever shop there again and many of my friends know about this situation and call BS on it. I'd rather go to gamestop and that's saying something!

Negative experience: terrible customer service, we got a text saying we’re banned from all their locations just because we made a complaint about controllers we bought which one of them kept overheating like crazy and i’ve never had this problem before and they just kept saying it was my console but i’ve never had this problem with all my controllers.

Negative experience: Just found out the new owner literally stole this from the previous owner. Sad because I loved going to these as a kid but when they were under the original owner. I am never going to come here.

Negative experience: They don’t seem to be open and don’t answer their phones. Lol Maybe short of help or going out of business? It’d be nice if their open days/hours were updated accordingly

Negative experience: The store had Gone downhill they have a worker/manager that is always laying back in the chair like he's high drunk and sleeping The selection at the store is not the greatest as it 1st was when it opened also when I went there for the black Friday they fell back in November they did not have any of the items on sale and the guy/ worker did not even care. More likely will not shop there ever again for games, game systems, or Accessories.

Positive experience: Good prices for used games but they have a very limited stock. They had next to no switch games.

Negative experience: Granted it's the holiday season but not much was on the shelves. There's a very small selection of space for the newest game console titles. If you're looking for an original Nintendo or an N64 or maybe things for a game boy or a Sega Genesis this is where you go. But if you're looking for accessories for the PlayStation 5 or the new Xbox don't bother.

Negative experience: Don't bother with any real gaming questions. Their selection is limited and disappointing now. Gamers used to be the go to my entire life here in Lincoln. Go to gameroom or online at this point. They don't even call back when you are looking for a special request with money in hand.

Negative experience: Went in. Got stared at by 2 gentlemen. The one behind the counter had shades on. No one said hello or welcome, anything! Didn’t feel welcomed :(

Fantastic experience: A solid rotation of retro games and accessories have come through this store pretty consistently. If you're waiting on a hard-to-get game to hit the market, check in here periodically, as it's likely to show up at some point.

Positive experience: I personally enjoy going to the store. Offer pretty good prices on games. Seem to get more for trades then some around. Friendly staff makes you feel welcome. Seem understaffed most of the time.

Fantastic experience: Staff is friendly and knowledgeable of products on the sale floor. Willing to work with you on issues with products and refund/warranties they offer. Good selection of games for the area they're in. (Gotta go downtown to get to GR), no customer bathrooms, area is hard to navigate for larger/longer vehicles.

Negative experience: Welp, a lot of the reviews could have saved me some time had I read them before going there. The staff service is poor. I understand retail will burn you out. And I'm always trying to make excuses for employees struggling in retail and food service. But if you work in a game store, you chose it for a reason. The least you can do is be engaged with the people who come in. Say hi. Offer to look up stock when they're looking at OG games and retro stuff to be friendly and save them a minute when you have nothing else going on. Have conversations with people about your mutual interests. The one person I've engaged with each time is wearing sunglasses inside. I can't tell if he's even looking at me when I talk to him. Everything seems a bit chaotic behind the counters. Today I tried picking up a few games and some older retro controllers, but the same guy with the sunglasses was asleep behind the counter. I tried making noise to wake him up and not make it awkward. It didn't work. Tried coughing, pretending like I didn't know he was asleep and just asking questions loudly about prices. Dude didn't even flinch. Ok, I'm done with this place. Parking suck at Gameroom sometimes. But I rather deal with that any day now after today at Gamers. I just left the games I picked out on the counter and walked out. You don't want to stay awake to do your job, you can put the games back that I wasted my time looking for.
