Negative experience: It closed

Negative experience: This GameStop has permanently closed. I don't know how long it has been closed but it looks like it has been for a long time.

Positive experience: This GameStop location is no longer open, it was shut down only 2 or so left in Moreno Valley in Day St. & Moreno Beach just letting y'all know.

Negative experience: Can't be bothered to pick up the phone, apparently. Tried calling a few times now and no one answers.

Negative experience: We have called like around 12 times in one day and they never answer the calls very Bad service For all locations don't know why they have telephones if they never answer

Negative experience: I went into purchase a video game, but was told they did not have a copy however I was told they could have it delivered to my house in 3 days if I purchased it for delivery and there would be no extra charge for the delivery. So I went ahead and purchased the game and in 3 days I found that it was still stuck in transit so I waited an additional five days where my order has been delivered according to the tracker however I did not receive anything in my mail and I did not receive anything at my house so I tried to complain about the situation to GameStop however they could not do anything and I had to go through the delivery service dispute it with them however they couldn't do anything because there was no insurance on the package so now I'm left with out the item I purchased and given the go around instead of any help. I highly recommend not purchasing anything to be delivered from gamestop as they refused to help with anything as well as resolve the situation. Instead they'll give you a customer service number which you have to go through and then go to the delivery service and still no help. Waste of time and money. Never again.

Positive experience: They actually had a large stock of Series X and PS5 units on hand for black Friday... I was surprised. The staff there was very helpful. They did do a lot of upselling but it was all good.

Negative experience: I ordered a game online and had it set to in-store pick up here at this location. When I arrive to pick it up I was yelled at by the gentleman that was working the front desk. I will never come back to this location again as far as I’m concerned, it is the worst GameStop location in Southern California. I know this because I frequently visit all of them.

Negative experience: They never pick up their calls no matter what time of the day. This is a real problem because i dont wanna drive over just for them, not to have the item i need.

Positive experience: They still have some older games like older xbox , ps2 , ps3 ps4 games . glad i found a game i been looking to get. Thanks

Negative experience: Order some cards for my son online they said they had 4 in stock page said it was updated a couple hours before placing the order then they canceled my order when I called and asked why the worker said because she was holding it for someone else so un professional the site still says they have 4 in stock but my account got charged but since they are holding it for their friends then no one can buy it that’s why corrupt GameStop is going out of business

Fantastic experience: My friend goes there alot for her boys to renew game cards, get new games, or sometimes cash in points. This store always seems to be well stocked also.

I was told last week today (8/9/2021) would be the day but apparently the store I peroederd at is now telling me 10/29 when the Moreno Beach store already got theirs. Fantastic experience: Never had an issue with this location! Everyone I have come across there have been SUPER helpful. Sometimes I have even just stuck around and chit chatted with workers because they're just so laid back, even after a bad customer(s) they still maintain themselves. I have been there a few times too when customers tried to take advantage of them with lies, they're on top of their game and quickly shut them down.

Fantastic experience: First, I'd like to start by saying I am not and have never been a gamer(So knowledge is limited in this area).I want to first thank Store Manager Mark and Associate Nick. I sought out the best deal I felt was perfect for a purchase of a PS4 and games for my son through research of multiple retailers. As it was very difficult to purchase online due to inventory constraints with Game Stop. I did deal with a few different locations for both game counsel and games. Let me just say, I am a General Manager for a dealership and have been in customer service for 15 plus years. My local Game Stop(This one) had the game my son wanted. Having difficulty with other locations and miss information, Mark really stepped it up by a simple verification of the terms on a sale they had and resold me after a return of the game console was inevitable in my mind at this point. He proved there is still retailers out there that don't mind spending an extra couple minutes with you to make sure you walk away happy and/or with options. The store manager(Mark, I Apologize if I miss understood the name on the phone) has most definitely passed on his great customer service skills and process to his employees. Dealing with customer service on the phone for a couple hours plus, I called the store back and was able to speak with Nick. He assisted me through the remainder of the process all the way to the door pickup with a smile on his face(Yes, Smiles translate over the phone in both tone and emphasis). Seems they have a very good work environment at this location. Mark as I'm sure when I called was busy at that moment but still kept a close ear as his associate assisted me on my second and final call before I purchased 5 more games. Thank you gentlemen for the superb service. You will most definitely see me back. I appreciate you guys.

Negative experience: Was told they where doing a midnight release for pokemon sword and shield by the female gamestop employee I showed up 15 minutes to midnight and waited till 15 minutes past midnight and nobody ever showed up very unhappy with this store I was given false information and wasted my fuel and time

Negative experience: They had a pre-programmed PlayStation with the older games loaded onto it for $29.99. I bought a game and went home but returned less than half an hour later because I decided to buy it for our foster son who just moved into our but the price had gone up to $39.99. I asked the clerk if I could still get it for $29.99. He informed me that there was a price change and they had just not put up the label yet, and no I could not get it for $29.99.
