Fantastic experience: I am very pleased with what I ordered from retro V games store they have a game called wow Zoids battle legends a classic game cube game. I have been looking for a very long time if not forever their prices are very affordable and they are very upfront with letting you know that could be a delay and that they even test it going out before they ship it is amazing and I’ve been playing. Zoids battle Legens so much lately. It is so nice having this piece of my childhood back so seriously thank you for helping me get a game. I’ve been missing to play and do plan on ordering more in the future.
Positive experience: I recently got my hands on a PS2, and my dream for at least 15 years has been to play the scooby doo night of 100 frights game if I ever got a ps2. So I did, and the game plays so well. I haven’t had any issues, but the disc itself is a bit scratched. I do understand it is difficult to find anything that old in such great condition, so that’s why I give them 4 stars! Overall great experience.

Negative experience: Sent me a vita that wasn’t the color I had selected only to tell me after that colors were a subject to availability despite it not say it on the page itself. They also never updated me on the shipping and when I go it wouldn’t change with the cable they provided, and to return it I have to cover shipping myself and pay a 10% restocking fee. 1/5 wouldn’t buy from them again.
Negative experience: Horrible. We ordered 2 games in December and nothing ever showed up. They said it's because I put in the wrong address but I know I put in the right one. So who put the wrong address with a typo? The person knows ebay they ordered the product from. They dropship, if you want a real quality product look at star retro games. These guys are phonies and I noticed they only reply to the reviews over 3 stars, they will ignore all the bad reviews because they know they are scammers and would rather avoid the problem rather than fixing it.
Positive experience: Pros - shipping was extremely fast, no scratches in my Nintendo DS Lite. Cons - I found a cheaper option closer to me, and j wanted to cancel my order. They hadn’t even sent me tracking details until I told them I wanted a refund. The cartridge slot gets the games stuck unless I pluck them out. I ordered a black DS, and it couldn’t even come with a black stylus… Asked for their definition of refurbished, I haven’t received any response. If their definition is just no scratches, don’t buy from them. Only reason I didn’t leave less starts is because the console works, at the very least
Negative experience: STAY AWAY FROM THIS BUISNESS. I purchased what was supposed to be a ps vita 1000 but what I received was pch1100 with terrible stick drift that made the vita unusable. I called and was immediately ignored and the number now goes to voice-mail. I will try to get my refund through my bank but this was a terrible experience so I highly recommend you stay away from these scammers.

Negative experience: I ordered an N64 last year for my wives birthday. When I received it the unit did not work. Upon messaging them I kept getting the run around wanting videos of it not working. It made no buzzing or humming just a red light. I had a numerous people look at it also and all said the same them. At no point did I want a refund I just wanted the thing to work as I had a camping trip planned and was going to have it set up. After multiple emails I just coped it up to a loss and ate the money. I know it’s almost a year later but I was going thru my closest and saw it and am still annoyed with the service. Frankly I wish the thing worked my wife would have loved it. I purchased 2 games with it because one was her favorite and would have purchased more but after this I won’t Thank you
Negative experience: Absolutely regret buying from Retro V Games – worst customer experience I’ve had in years. I rarely leave reviews, but I feel compelled to warn others. My experience with Retro V Games has been nothing short of a nightmare. Not only did they send me items that were damaged or completely missing from my order, but when I reached out for support, the response was slow and unhelpful. To make things worse, they are now refusing to cover the return label for the items they messed up—essentially making it harder for me to get my money back and penalizing me for their mistake. I’ve spent more time chasing down basic customer service than I did placing the actual order. This company does not stand behind its products or take responsibility when things go wrong. I deeply regret giving them my money and will absolutely never do business with them again. Save yourself the trouble—there are much better and more trustworthy places to buy retro games, such as eBay which offers a money back guarantee and has not sent me one damaged thing so far!
Negative experience: Ordered a wii with mario bros and an extra remote. The wii works fine so far, one of the remotes is garbage and barely works but disconnects constantly, tried removing batteries and re-sync but nothing works. One remote works fine outta the 2. I just bought 2 pack remote from Amazon and they work great. The mario bros game works but is chipped and has damage to the center hole so not real pleased with its condition. I bought 3 other games from 2 different sellers and they were all in much better condition. I would not buy from this company again.
Negative experience: I ordered from this site a Nintendo DS deluxe and I did not receive a deluxe. I received the regular version which was scratched and had old save files on it not refurbished at all I ordered three games I have yet receive it's been nearly a month.

I contacted the customer support and was told I should receive a shipping confirmation email. I never received the email, the product or a response from customer service after the initial contact.
Negative experience: I placed an order online and received SOME of the order. After reporting I was missing 2 games, 1 controller and one game I received was physically broken, this seller stopped responding. I have been emailing for about a week now with no response. When I called I was not able to understand the person that answered and had to end the call. Charges for the broken item and for what was not received is now under dispute with my creditor. I would be very cautious of placing an online order with this business.
Negative experience: Absolutely terrible. Got a promotion email. Clicked the email and went to purchase n64 with accessories and games. We'll the link sent me to Canada website so my order number was wrong and when I had to call 6 times to get it figured out getting yelled at in the process basically accusing me of lying. They finally figured out they messed up on their end. So I requested a refund. I was told 7 to 10 days for full refund. It's been 23 days still nothing. Worst company I've ever dealt with.

Negative experience: The ps2 was cleaned and nice looking.. that’s about the only positive thing I could say about my order. My controller wasnt an authentic controller and was broken, and it couldn’t even fit in the plug in. I ordered 3 games (god of war, gta 3, and metal gear solid 3) I didn’t even get gta 3 and the other 2 games came in sleeves not in a ps2 case. I would’ve been fine with it if I knew I was getting just the discs and the discs weren’t even protected. I tried contacting you guys but didn’t get a response so I’m leaving this review instead.
Negative experience: Purchased an N64, two games, two controllers, and a memory card. The console doesn't work, so they are requesting it be returned so they can decide what to do with it. The memory card wasn't with the order. They sent one out right away that should be here soon. I'm still waiting, not that I can use it. One controller is original with a very worn/loose joystick, that sticks in the direction you push it, and the other turned out to be third-party. I assume the cartridges work, but there is no way to know for sure. I called the number but they don't answer; it goes right to a voicemail. I did receive a generic text message shortly after, but it's no different than sending an email. You can't talk to anyone in person and they only reply to emails once every 1-3 days. I really feel they should be more upfront about the items they are sending. What you receive is not necessarily what you ordered, in terms of functionality and condition. I also feel they should be quicker to respond, when dealing with customer service issues. So far, they are willing to help, as long as I keep communication in written form. I'll update my review as the interaction progresses. Hopefully I will be giving more stars very soon. Fingers crossed as I have someone anxiously waiting to play these games!

Negative experience: SCAMMERS!!!! AVOID RETROVGAMES AT ALL COSTS!!! I ordered a 3DS from them, the first one came with dead pixels, the second one came missing buttons, the third one came where the 3D didn't work, the fourth one came and it was so scuffed it felt like I was holding sandpaper... It took 4 exchanges and a threat to sue to finally get what I ordered! Not to mention I'm pretty sure they sold my payment information to frauds very rarely did I get scammed calls until I shopped here, now I get them nearly everyday after placing my order. Terrible customer service as well said they would charge a 10% restocking fee to return an item that was shipped to me damaged hence why I went through all that crap to exchange them... You'll have a better experience shopping at DK Oldies... And that's saying a lot! Not to mention they're so damn cheap that they use AI videos to promote their products to fool you into thinking they sell quality items... Seriously do NOT do any business with these guys unless if you want your information sold, receive damaged products, go through the hassle to get lawyers and your bank involved.

Negative experience: Buyer beware!!! I purchased a Nintendo DS for my son’s Christmas gift along with 2 Pokémon games and none of them were working. I sent in the return a week after Christmas and did not hear from them until I called asking for an update. They continued to tell me someone is looking into the return and would call me with my refund status. After 6 phone calls to the company with no updates, I decided to just dispute the purchase with my credit card company. Once they were contacted by my credit card, that’s when they decided to call with an update. They asked if I could withdraw the dispute since they would be charged a $15 fee. No consideration for my inconvenience! This is after 3 months of my purchase! I will never again purchase anything from this company!
Fantastic experience: They had the gamecube memory cards I needed to play Sonic Adventure 2, they were the only place that had ones that worked. All the amazon ones were garbage.

Fantastic experience: I ordered from here and got all of my items but two. The n64 memory card and Mariokart64. I called customer service and they were extremely helpful and had my two items re-shipped and today I received the mariokart64. The memory card is still being shipped and I have the tracking information. Everything i received so far is in great working condition and I am just waiting on the memory card. I am giving this store 5 stars because of the quality of the items and the quality of the customer service. I would 100% recommend buying from here and I will be doing business again here in the future.
Negative experience: I absolutely do NOT recommend this company to anyone, I ordered a Wii Fit Bundle and a few additional games and more additional games for a separate system we own. For starters, the console arrived later than anticipated (too late for Christmas which it was promised for) and upon opening the whole package smelled foul and while I know the nature of used goods may reflect this the unit DID NOT work. On top of that more than half the order was missing. I ordered a Wii fit bundle which is supposed to have a balance board, Wii fit disc and many other items the bundle stated. I bought this for a gift and was ultimately embarrassed that I gifted this upon them letting me know the console DID NOT work along with two of the remotes. Not to mention the missing extra items that equaled over a few hundred dollars. Ultimately the company scammed me, I had to pay return shipping on the bundle ($20 extra dollars out of pocket) for the console that DID NOT work I remind you and once they received my items they didn’t refund me in full because of the missing items they never mailed to me in the first place. Their customer service is unprofessional and I can’t tell you how much time and energy I’ve wasted on getting any money back. For spending over $400 on a console and extras for a gift and still being out over $100 dollars for literally just shopping with this company, I advise everyone to NOT shop with RetroVGames. Unless you’re willing to throw money to the wind or take a chance, do NOT shop with them. I will be reporting them to BBB .
Negative experience: They had the product I wanted, but I had a timeline in which I needed it. I ordered it and paid extra for the priority 3-5 day shipping. it still took 7 days to get there, which by that time was too late.
Negative experience: Horrible just horrible! Order a playstation 1 memory card and resident evil 3. All 3 got shipped at different times! Resident evil 3 was a demo disc i paid 65$ for the game not a demo! And i still haven't gotten a reply from them about it and they kept telling me o look in your email! Its been 2 weeks and not a word! I beg you to not order here and find a better place that wont rip you off and not ship everything different days!!! Again horrible just horrible
Negative experience: This place is a scam I ordered mega man legends 1 and 2 a ps2 slim and a memory card mega man legends 2 came with scratches all over it a couple went through the data layer so the game stops playing after the game start menu I brought it up Saturday it is now Wednesday and no decision has been made at all I have another package from them but it's being shipped to their store not me so being scammed there too yesterday after I asked about an update john said ill be told when there is one and he closed my support ticket which I reopened by the way to no avail as these people are lasy scam artists on top of that my ps2 I got is modded with matrix which I did not agree to ask for or want oh and one of my packages came from a person not the company theyre giving random people our address to ship out items which is not legal nothing about how this place is run is legal. I will be calling my lawyer and starting a lawsuit have fun.

Negative experience: Never ordering a video game from here ever again. I ordered a nintendo DSI and a copy of Super Mario 64 in December 2024. I received the ds at the beginning of February. It's now March and I still haven't even got the game. I called over and over again to see if they would at least provide me a tracking number but they always have some kind of stupid excuse that never makes any sense. For example, I called them like a week ago to check on the status and all he had to say was "we'll provide a tracking number in 2 days". Bro a whole week later no tracking number. Found out these guys do what is called dropshipping, where the buy a used item off a seller on Ebay or another website and they sell it on their website for double the price. No wonder they can't provide me a tracking number. They don't even have the product ON them yet. They are scammers. Don't buy from these losers man it's not even worth it. And from what I've heard, the only way to get a refund is by filing an order through your bank. You literally have to force you money back cuz they'll keep lolligagging and act like they're "trying" to get your product to you when they really just trying to prolong the situation.

Did not send my games or video cable for the Dreamcast. Had to call customer service twice. Finally received a box 2 weeks later only to find it was just the video cable. Still no games. Very disappointing.
Negative experience: Terrible experience. I ordered a gamecube from them. Found out it was a bad idea. I requested a refund from them and the first person I spoke to said it was canceled. I called back to verify it was canceled and turns out it wasent. All I requested for it to be canceled again. They said they did. Called back a third time because I never got a cancelation email. Guess what, never canceled. Finally after 3 times got it canceled. But they didn't give me back my whole amount. They said I wasent getting my sams tax back because they never see the sales tax. Positive experience: I recently ordered a Game Boy and Pokémon Blue from Retro vGames, and I couldn’t be happier with my experience! While both items had some minor cosmetic wear (as expected with retro gear), they worked flawlessly right out of the box. The Game Boy powered on without issue, and Pokémon Blue saved my progress just like it did back in the day. Shipping was quick, and everything was well-packaged for protection. If you’re looking for quality retro games at fair prices, Retro vGames is a great choice. Highly recommend!
Negative experience: These guys are garbage! I ordered an indigo GameCube for my autistic son who's favorite color is blue. We received a gray unit and when I emailed them about this I was told sorry about your luck, you get what we send. That is BS! If I order blue I should get blue, otherwise take that info out of your listing. The Sonic disc I ordered as well was so scratched it wouldn't play, I had to wet sand the disc with 2000 grit and polish it to get it to work. Highly disappointed with a $260 purchase
Negative experience: I placed my first order for an N64 memory expansion and 4 games (two N64 and two SNES) 12 days ago with free 5-7 day shipping for $269.85. Immediately after placing the order an email was received saying delivery would be delayed due to "high order volumes". No tracking info was ever provided initially. An email was received notifying the order was completed after 8 days wait, but the only item received was the N64 memory expansion component shipped in bubble wrap and an absurd amount of tape through USPS. After reaching out to customer service tracking info was provided for the "remainder" of the order which was incompletely delivered four days later from two addresses that are not the business address. Items received were an N64 game that was delivered in a bubble wrap envelope and one SNES cartridge shipped in ebay packaging. After reaching out to customer service again, I have received additional tracking info for the "remainder" of my order through USPS that will supposedly be delivered next day. The only reason I give the service 1 star is that the three items I have received thus far function. I could have easily sourced these items through ebay or facebook marketplace with less headache than this experience has been. Hopefully the remaining items function when and IF received. I would definitely not recommend using this business and I will definitely not be a repeat customer.
Negative experience: This is the biggest scam company out there. We ordered a PS2 and a memory card. We received a PS2 that would not start playing the disc unless after you put it in, you reset the whole system. It also had a knock off refurbished logo instead of just PlayStation. Also, the memory card did not fit the console. We returned and got a replacement sent only for them to send the system without a controller, AV cords, or power cord. When we reached out, they said it's because there was not a picture of the items returned, when in fact, there was. Also, if they received the items, then they know what was ordered before. An absolute joke and way overpriced.
Positive experience: Ordered Okami, took 10 days, minus two weekend days, so seven days to reach me. Fish is in great condition. Aside from not being told any shipping info i have no issues with the order. ;) has they provided me with tracking info off when the order was in transit I’d of given a five star, but their customer service was top notch when I’d put the wrong city for my address. Negative experience: My entire experience with this company has been an absolute nightmare. I purchased a gaming console and 2 games from this company. Literally nothing worked. The game console I purchased stopped working after a couple of days. The game that my son chose to start playing did not work either. Their “120 day warranty” that they advertise is complete bull. I have sent this company photos and videos of the defective products and still no resolution. Due to my unsatisfactory experience, I would not recommend this company to anyone. If they are refusing to help you then I would advise you to dispute the charge with your bank. My bank also recommended for me to file a complaint with BBB as well. Good Luck!

Negative experience: The worst customer service I’ve ever experienced. Trying to cancel an order after a fiasco couldn’t get ahold of anybody for 3 days. Finally was able to chat with someone and they had a terrible microphone to the point I could barely understand them. They said they cancelled my order and will send a email out that it was cancelled and refunded but it hasn’t even shown up. I’m going to be disputing it through my bank because I’m not certain they’ll refund me even after they said they would. Even after the fact I emailed them about cancelling my order they responded with reassurance that I’d be getting what I paid for instead of my order being cancelled. DO NOT BUY FROM THESE FRAUDS AND SCAMMERS
Fantastic experience: I had a great experience with RetroVGames - So far. The 3DS and one of two games I ordered came in great working like lightly used condition and I couldn't be happier. The item arrived heavily wrapped in bubble wrap and tightly packaged so it couldn't bang around. Just waiting on Ocarina of Time to arrive an this will be a 5 star rating. EDIT: Ocarina of Time arrived today. It's in perfect working order. 5 stars.
Negative experience: I bought a game from here on my birthday. Paid for the 3 to 5 business day shipping. I NEVER RECEIVED MY GAME. I’m in Oklahoma City. I called the store to tell them I hadn’t received barely could understand over the phone but was told it had already been shipping. It’s been 2 weeks now. DO NOT I REPEAT DO NOT SHOP WITH THEM THEY WILL ONLY TAKE YOUR MONEY!!!! No Fair Transaction!!!!
Negative experience: A horrible experience at buying games an shipping I still not yet received my whole order I bought four games only received one one game is in limbo. Don’t know where it is because I don’t have a shipping number and then the other two still hasn’t even been shipped. And I bought these days probably by the week and a half ago. I will never shop with them ever again.
Negative experience: Do not do business with this "game store". They attempted to buy a game from my eBay store. They wanted me to ship the game directly to one of their customers without any of my info / packing slip. Their customer paid $45 for a game that Retrovgames tried to buy from me for $20 on eBay. A $25 markup for them being nothing more than being some useless middleman. It would have been bad enough if they had the game shipped to their store and then resold it to some poor unsuspecting buyer for a ridiculous markup and lied about cleaning/refurbishing (the DKOldies business model). I can't control what they do with the game once it is in their possession, and I guess people are foolish enough for fall for the con. However, what Retrovgames does is worse. This store sells games they never have in their possession, and then they try to find a copy after the purchase is made, while making that seller do all the work. The fact that they have "Only X left in stock" on their website is a joke, and proves that their whole business model is all smoke and mirrors. This is what they have in the description for my game on their website- "The game is fully tested & guaranteed to work. It's the cartridge / disc only unless otherwise specified. It's the authentic cartridge. If you would like to know before purchasing, please contact our customer service. This game cartridge Cleaned Tested and Guaranteed to Work!" How would they know it's clean, tested, or authentic? They never touched it. This is why they have so many complaints about poor quality control from customers on here. I take good care of my stuff and I make sure everything is packaged perfectly, which you can't say about every other person shipping out stuff on eBay. Especially when the employees at Retrovgames probably try to focus on the cheapest eBay listings to maximize their profit for doing nothing. I repeat. Do NOT do business with these scumbags. And when they eventually change their name AGAIN (They used to be Retrolio) because too many people find out what a scam they are, don't do business with their new company either. Update in response to the Retro vGames reply: Hi Retro vGames team. I have added screenshots which prove my claims for your convenience, along with a small fraction of the negative feedback on the Retrovgames eBay account which backs me up. What exactly are we looking for between those lines? Maybe you should read the room, or “ready the room” as you might say based on your reply. This isn’t a matter of a few people trying to take down your legitimate small business because they have nothing better to do. 84 complaints in 3 years with BBB. 80% of your reviews on TrustPilot are 1 star. 126 1-star reviews on Yelp out of 158, which is 79.7%. That is abysmal. I am not the only one accusing you of drop shipping via eBay, and the horrible reviews from your unsuspecting customers that received broken consoles, scratched up games, the wrong items, or horrendous shipping times (because you’re a middle man for random eBayers and never actually touch the contents of the orders) are further evidence. If your owner devoted a fraction of the effort his employees spent defending Retrovgames online to actually building a legitimate store with good quality control and customer service, then we wouldn’t be here. But I’m sure there is a lot less money in that, so keep speed running your way to another name change.
Positive experience: I ordered the Nintendo belt bag. Grandson loves it. Exactly as pictured. Shipping was a little slow but not awful. I would order again.
Negative experience: I had a poor experience dealing with this company. Ordered a game for my kid as a late Christmas present and didn't receive it until weeks after I ordered it. My son was super excited to play the game and it didn't even work. Then, I needed to return the game, they said it would be additional fee to return the game, which sounds crazy to me. They won't get me again hopefully this stops them from getting you,
Negative experience: I ordered a Wii package and games with add on accessories for my son's birthday and it shipped really quickly. However half the items I ordered were missing. I called customer service and thought the issue was resolved, but it took an additional THREE weeks to ship 2 games and an accessory, and I STILL don't have my entire order. I'm just going to dispute the difference with my credit card company. This is disappointing because I wanted to stick to a local business but it might be better to go to game stop next time, and I hate that place. I've posted the email I received after my phone call with the date. This was only sent after my original email to the customer service inbox was ignored and I had to call instead.
Negative experience: Purchased three games as a Christmas gift paid for expediting shipping and games were delivered well after Christmas after much back-and-forth I did receive my shipping fee refunded however, I’m still fighting to get a refund on one of the games that they sent me that does not work. Games don’t even come from this company as they are clearly purchased from a third-party and most likely up charged to the customer. I received each game in a separate package with different return addresses than this company. After telling them that one of the games didn’t work they insisted that I send a video proving this which I did well over a week and I still have not received a refund.
Negative experience: Received a super Nintendo for family unit arrived on time but does not work now I’m getting the runaround on the unit spent over $300 on a 27 year old game console order#650597 1-23-25 still getting the runaround on me I don’t think I’m going to get helped and got scammed out of my money
Fantastic experience: Ordered the original Nintendo Mike Tyson's Punch Out and the game works! I previously ordered from Amazon, and the cartridge didn't fit and wouldn't work in the console. The cartridge ordered from Retro vGames worked perfectly!
Negative experience: Bought Super Smash Brothers for the 3DS. $40. No box. Game does not work. We have tried multiple systems. Reached out, they emailed back saying they "initiated a return request with our relevant department." That was on January 3rd. Nothing but crickets. What sucks is I found this same game with a box in Savannah, GA for $15 cheaper after I already paid for this piece of crap.
Negative experience: Ordering through this company has been a terrible experience I would never go through again. I ordered a single PS2 game and a guitar hero guitar on December 16th, 2024 and even paid for the expedited shipping (3-5 business days) so it would get here by Christmas. I did not even receive the game until January and still have not received the guitar as of January 17th, 2025, an entire month later. The company sends emails about once a week “updating” you on your order that is never going to arrive. They also print a shipping label and lie and say “it’s in transit” and even lied about the mail company losing the package so they would not have to ship it to me. Them doing this causes certain banks to not be able to file a claim and get you a refund because it’s technically “still going to be delivered.” This website is a scam I would never use again.
Negative experience: I finally received the X-Box game I ordered (Minecraft) in half a scratched up dvd cover held on with two elastics. Not impressed at all! Update: Contacted Randy on the chat about this issue. After having me wait for 25 minutes he offered me a 10% discount. When I told him it was ridiculous, he shut the chat box on me.. SO I know where not to shop from now on.
Negative experience: Ordered a Wii and couple of games with three remotes two knuckles and a memory card on Dec 31. Jan 6th got email about my order being shipped separately, cool no big deal but was not given any tracking info to look at my separately shipped items. I called their customer service which was very hard to hear a lot of background conversations didn't know if he was talking to me or someone else put me on hold before even saying hello, over talked me ever sentence and couldn't help me at all I wasn't even in a hurry to get the rest of the items, the first items showed up Jan 14th that's why I called to check on the rest. Nunchuck and sports games came in Jan 15th. Its Jan 16th still waiting on memory so I called again stilled same situation, puts me on hold, background talk, rude and over talks me. I'm usually a calm and never a complaining kind of person but this guy had me boiling. was told "memory card will be shipped soon what else do you want." I was trying my best asked to speak with someone else and just given a no. The packaging was rough as the customer service. 10/10 do not recommend, do not pass Go. I hope that guy stubbes his toe.
Negative experience: Customer service sucks. They don’t ship the games with the consoles. I’ve had to ask multiple times for them to send me the game that came in the bundle I ordered and it’s been over 3 weeks and they haven’t sent me anything. Still no game. Still can’t use the console I purchased. This place is a scam. Highly do not recommend. I’ve asked for a tracking number for the game I ordered 4 times now. Each time I’m told to wait 48-72 hours. Each time no tracking number. No game. Never order from here. They are drop shipping off eBa for a mark up. This site is a scam.
Fantastic experience: I purchased something for Christmas. It came timely. Something happened in the order but the staff was helpful and made everything right. They were prompt and courteous. I will definitely be shopping here again
Negative experience: I placed my order for one game December 19 and 5-7 business days was the free shipping option. I purchased with full understanding that the game, which was a gift, would likely arrive after Christmas by a day or two. When I hadn’t received any shipping info from Retrogames, I finally on 12/30 emailed them inquiring into a status of my order. Got a response the following day, 12/31, providing me tracking information for my order. So, my order wasn’t shipped UNTIL I inquired into where my order was! WOW. Crappy unreliable company - won’t use again and sorry I used it even once. Oh, I finally received the game January 4.
Positive experience: Slow order processing/ delivery. Items shipped dirty and my order was missing a game and a controller. I was told those items would be shipped to me and I have not seen them yet.
Negative experience: DO NOT BUY!!!!! Junk. All the stuff they have is pieced together Japanese parts. I received my GameCube that didn’t even read discs. I order about 6 games that never even showed up even after being told everything was in one box multiple times. The main difference between this junk place and actual legit gaming resellers is that these guys are buying Japanese consoles and accessories and piecing everything together to get things to work. They’re paying pennies on the dollar and charging American authentic console prices. And lastly the most skeptical part is they’re supposedly based out of Pennsylvania but when you call them you call a Tennessee number, that is HIGHLY sus in my opinion. The business I rebought off of has his phone number, and address that all match to his actual location unlike these scammers. DO NOT BUY DO NOT BUY. You will be HIGHLY disappointed. DO NOT BUY.
Negative experience: Ordered a new 3DS XL, received it with dead pixels, broken left bumper, broken charging port, and after 30+ emails back and forth, I’m being told that I now have to pay for shipping, as well as a 10% restocking fee to return a BROKEN device, well under the return policy on their website. Absolute garbage. UPDATE: After going back and forth for weeks, they provided me a return label, told me that there will be no restocking fee for the console, and I sent it in. Now they claim that they’ve taken a 10% restocking fee for returning the broken console that they sent me, after telling me that I would not be paying a restocking fee. I also bought a game that I returned as well, and haven’t received a refund for. So I’ve been completely ripped off, out about $75 not counting the original shipping I paid for, for this broken console and a game they sent in a GameStop pre owned box.
Negative experience: I placed my order for a green PS1 light gun and paid a premium price at least 20-30 dollars above market value because the picture looked so good. The package never came and I never got my light gun or a refund. Never heard back from them.
Fantastic experience: My 5 star review is do to the amazing customer service representative Ryan, from RetroVgames. Unfortunately with Christmas time and holiday season my game was swapped by mistake and this gentleman fought tooth and nail to ensure retrovgames was very sorry and will be making it right. I can be a very understanding guy and at times it’s difficult to explain frustrations otp without coming off “rude” but Ryan is very considerate, patient and professional. Please give this guy a golden star! I’m a happy customer! Thanks Ryan! P.s. He wished me well and prayed for good health of my family and loved ones before ending the phone call and that meant the world to me!
Negative experience: Stay away from this place. My order was completely wrong and inoperable. When tried to return got the run around about a shipping label that they never emailed, and after reading some other people’s issues I’m almost glad I didn’t get a label to return cause some haven’t received their refunds. Going to chalk this up to a loss and lesson. Do not do business with these people. Do your due diligence and research before clicking anything on their website. And shame on these people for being probably the most predatory retro store online.
Positive experience: Ordered a game on Dec 16th website assures game will be shipped the next day. On Dec 24th, I reached out because I had not received the package or shipping information and the status on the webpage says "processing". My item was shipped the day after Christmas. Luckily, it was for my husband. I rated low because they did not seem to care about getting orders out as it took 10 days for them to mail my item and I paid above average for this product because according to their site, I would receive the package before Christmas. I did not rate too low because the product I received was in working condition and overall my husband was happy with the gift. I chose them over ebay hoping to have a great experience. After reading previous reviews, I consider myself lucky and will not buy from them in the future.
Negative experience: I bought 2 games for Christmas and I knew it was coming after Christmas which wasn't the problem. The problem was I got an email saying I was refunded $89 which was the cost for one of the games. So I called and asked about my order and the guy said that it was 2 games that were sent and he wasn't sure why I was refunded. There were enough games on the site so they didn't run out of them. I get the package and it is just one game. After looking on Reddit and seeing what happened to others I checked the website for the game I was supposed to get. Not only were there MORE of the game available. But the price DOUBLED. So instead of sending me the game at the price I bought it for to begin with they decided to refund me and charge a higher price. I was pissed and didn't get to call them yet as it was the weekend but I'll leave an update (if I get through) as for the other game, it looked ok. It was a gift for someone so I'll wait to hear from them.
Positive experience: I ordered from their website and received exactly what I ordered in good condition in a fair amount of time. Communication and customer service was good as well. I will definitely be looking to make purchases here in the future.
Fantastic experience: I was skeptical because of the reviews but I received my shipment and the PSP works and is in good condition . Shipping information was a little spotty but this is a small business so I feel that giving grace is necessary. I received fast replies to my emails even though it's the holidays and I'm appreciative of that.
Negative experience: Shipping was slow. Did not include 2 games in the shipment that were ordered so they were even longer to arrive (specifically, I still do not have them). Shipped the wrong color Game Boy Adv. The one Wii game that I ordered complete had a manual that looked like it went through the washing machine. So, out of 4 items ordered (over $200 worth of product) they got ZERO right in my book. I will not ever use this company again, I recommend you do not either.
Negative experience: This is my first time ordering from this company and it was a terrible experience. I ordered the Wii bundled with the Wii Sports game, an extra remote and a 8gb memory card. Didn’t receive any tracking number after I made my purchase. It took for me to call the customer service line to receive my tracking number. I tried plugging in the console today and it does not work. I’ve tried it on multiple outlets and multiple tvs. I never received the Wii Sports game or the memory card. When contacting customer service, I was advised I’d receive another package and the representative would’ve give me my tracking number for it. After being told that they still have to ship the rest of my order out, I requested to send the game or memory card, I’ll just do a return. I was then advised that I can’t do a return until they send the rest of my order. The condition of the Wii was very scratched up, discolored and terribly packaged.
Fantastic experience: I had an awful experience with this company. I placed an order that was marked as "delivered," but I never received the items. I reached out to their customer service, but instead of helping, they insisted the package was delivered and refused to issue a refund or replacement. When I disputed the charge with my credit card company, they began pressuring me to drop the dispute, which felt unprofessional and borderline harassing. Their claims about delivery were based on tracking information that I could not verify as accurate. Despite multiple attempts to resolve the issue, their lack of accountability and aggressive tactics left me extremely frustrated. I strongly caution anyone against doing business with this company. If something goes wrong with your order, don’t expect them to take responsibility. Proceed with extreme caution.
Negative experience: I just bought a Xbox 360 Slim and wasn’t a great experience I received the wrong Ac Adapter/ power cable and then didn’t receive my 250 GB hard drive for it that I ordered and then got a Knock off wired xbox controller if I’m going to be paying 170 some for an xbox I sure would like to get everything and get an actual xbox controller not a 3rd party one. Only good thing is the xbox is in great condition. Been trying to reach them for a couple days and nothing ugh
Fantastic experience: Retro games is a great small business with wonderful product inventory. I ordered a console with multiple games and controllers. Each product is in very good shape and work perfectly. My kids are going to have an awesome Christmas this year. The service I received was prompt and very appreciated. I placed my order and it was shipped by the next business day. I had a few questions about my oder and the staff replied quickly to my questions in order to provide assistance. Fantastic experience: These guys are awesome! Super informative and genuinely nice! Bought a bunch of games and an N64 from them. Got it home and I was having issues with it, came back the next day and no questions asked, they were willing to do whatever to make it right. I left with a working 64, and bought another game while there. I plan to visit this shop everytime I am home visiting family! Thanks boys, you guys are the best!
Fantastic experience: Amazing quality. I bought The Suffering for Xbox and it runs like brand new. No issues reading the disk or random freezing when playing. The price was the absolute best compared to other websites like Amazon and eBay. The customer support team is really friendly and reached out to me to make sure I was happy with my purchase after I had time to really play it. 10/10 will shop here again for old games!
Negative experience: Scam!!!! Don’t buy they sell fake copies of games while saying they’re authentic in the description but they are not authentic and if you try to get a refund they say it doesn’t say that it’s authentic but it does as in the picture attached, but the game you receive will be fake and they will charge you the price of an authentic game, As you can see in the photo of the game cartridge this is not authentic as there is missing punctuation in the French portion along with double spaces when there should only be one space, if you compare this photo with a authentic cartridge you will see the differences Edit: I did reach out and it is getting sorted out eventually as you shipped every item separately, I made my order November 11th and the last item is expected December 9th according to your staff but for some reason you shipped the majority of the items without tracking, but it’s because you don’t want me to do a chargeback not because you want to make things right, I spoke with your staff and they said they never claimed it was authentic even though as you can see in the picture I posted it claims from your website “The game is fully tested & guaranteed to work. It's the authentic cartridge.” So why claim it’s fully tested and authentic when you don’t have the resources to fully test and verify their authenticity
Negative experience: This store puts customers last. They will LITERALLY do whatever they can to make an extra penny, including ruining relationships with customers for life. Great business strategy. EDIT: I find it hilarious that you use ETHICS as your argument when you clearly have none, and would gladly go against BASIC RETAIL AND CUSTOMER SERVICE ethics, along with FALSE ADVERTISING to try to make a few extra dollars. Negative experience: They did some scummy crap to someone over on Reddit. Basically, this stupid piglet game was ordered at a (still ridiculous) price and someone purchased it at that price. Welp, this place apparently saw that, refused to honor the original purchase price, and then shot the price up an absolutely disgusting amount.. Why so much? Because the Internet said "piggy game worth shiny moneys now" and they went ahead and cancelled someone's order to make more money from someone else.. I'm positive they'll say something something supply and demand, but this should tell you more than enough about the establishment as a whole.. Should have just honored the price and then jacked it up, that way you'd only look half as scummy.. Edit: Really? Did you really sit down and type that, knowing what y'all did? Check pic post, that's an email from y'all. Don't need to shop at a store that does this sort of thing, and neither should others. Negative experience: If your website lists a product at a price. And a customer buys that product. You can't go "oops we didn't update our website" you take the L and sell your product and make sure you update you website more often. Instead yall decided to go the opposite route. 1 star for that. Won't be recommending you guys. Also, read you drop ship from eBay, and you don't actually hold stock. That true?
Negative experience: You should be ashamed of yourself as a business. "We forgot to update our prices." Honor your price tag and take the loss. Don't try to bleed your customers because "the market value changed" and you want to capitalize on it. This video game retail business puts money first and gamers last. Disgusting behavior. If I could give you zero stars I would.
Negative experience: I ordered a game for an ungodly amount, the order went through with multiple communications with customer service. Two days later I was told my package will be picked up that day however 8 hours later I was notified by my bank I got a refund for no reason. I called both the store and customer service, they blamed each other with no reason or action to get me my game. Turns out they canceled my order and jacked up the price of the product to an even more ungodly amount!!! This business already had terrible prices with terrible products, most of the games they sell do not even come with the original box or manual. They do not honor prices on orders already made before a stupid online Trend/FAD had occurred!!!! I would never order and buy from this business and store again!
Negative experience: Be aware that your order can and will be refunded with no real reason. They will even cancel your order if they found out the game is worth more than what you bought it for and they will change the price of accordingly. Very scummy retro store and wouldn't recommend them. recommended going anywhere else and they are overpriced as it is

Fantastic experience: The N64 console and the Goldeneye game that I got from them was in solid condition. My son and me are having a blast with it. Even though they game in separate packages the customer support and communication that I received from Ryan was noteworthy. Happy customer here and I’ll probably be ordering more games from them soon.
Negative experience: I had a terrible experience. I will share photos of what I ordered, and what I received. We ordered a refurbished Wii, which was supposed to come with a controller and Mario Kart game. What arrived was a badly scratched (filthy) Wii in black (not white like pictured in the ad) with broken components (controller slot cover, SD card cover) and a scratched copy of Wii Sports - not the Mario Kart we had wanted. I had asked if they could just send me the game we needed, and I'd keep the console. That wasn't an option and the emails are a bit difficult to follow. I was told I'd get a new shipping label in a few days and that items would be replaced, but this took nearly a month to get as it was - and I don't have much faith based on these reviews, that a satisfactory replacement would be sent. I asked for a refund, and have to return everything at my expense. Very frustrating. I'm also contacting Walmart, as I ordered this through them.
