Fantastic experience: Quick exchange, friendly staff!
Negative experience: DONT BUY PRE OWNED ITEMS HERE! Last purchase I’ll ever make with them. Purchased a pre owned controller 32 days ago from them, and of course on the 32nd day I noticed horrible stick drift. Asked them if they could do an even swap and not use my 2 year warranty I purchased with it since it’s just outside the return timeframe. They said no and I had to use my warranty I paid for even though they sold me a defective controller that lasted 32 days. I feel like I was scammed. What’s the point of buying a controller for it to last a month lol. Mind you pre owned controllers are $60

Negative experience: Customer service here sucks! I came by to do a trade-in and Tracey wanted to connect to the internet I asked if he needed assistance and was completely ignored but his co-worker answered he continued to ignore. He told me to take the parental controls off and I asked him how he replied "I don't know, I don't use parental controls." Just the level of professionalism here is rock bottom. Do avoid this location and drive the 15min to Kernan or another location. I'm currently in store writing this review because of how bad Tracey is. Avoid at all cost!
Negative experience: No issues with the staff. They are always friendly. This is more towards corporate forcing "market" pricing on pokemon cards. If you want to scalp just say your scalping.
Negative experience: Completely unsatisfied with the level of customer service provided. I wanted to do business at this store because it's the closest one from my home and the employee today at 2:05 pm (Tracey was the bag who was there by the way) disregarded a device that I brought to trade-in right away saying that an apple tv is not something they do not accept as trade-in. After asking him why does the website states otherwise he proceeded to go on of the PC to do some "checking" and not even 3 seconds after disregarded the device saying because the HDMI port has a scratch. The HDMI does not have a scratch by the way. Really the disappointed at the lack of customer service skill. I did not feel valued at the store, and honestly not coming back again. Update: gave them a second chance, Tracey made sure to knock it down.
Negative experience: The larger gentleman who works at the cash register at this location is extremely rude and unprofessional not to mention needlessly aggressive towards customers for absolutely no reason. As a customer and shareholder I'm not impressed. Glad I was able to get some products that I wanted but the customer experience at checkout is absolutely terrible. Much room for improvement

Negative experience: I recently visited a GameStop location and had a very disappointing experience with the store leader. The interaction was unprofessional and the way customers were treated was not appropriate. When I asked questions, they were not answered in a professional or respectful way. Customer service should always be helpful and respectful, and unfortunately this was not the case during my visit. The attitude and behavior of the store leader made the experience uncomfortable and frustrating. I hope GameStop reviews this situation and provides better customer service training so future customers are treated professionally and respectfully.

Negative experience: The heavy set gentlemen that works here is the most unprofessional counter personal I've ever met. I left without purchasing. I ask if he had a Nintendo switch 2 in stock for sale and his response was everyone has them in stock are you stupid. That wasn't my question and an employee that cares about his job/customers wouldn't respond that way. I feel bad for the owner, unless he is the owner then I feel sorry for his customers.

Negative experience: I don’t know why the employee was so rude.. I walked in and everything he said had a demeaning tone to it. I asked if I was able to use a coupon code when I was checking out and he said that I couldn’t. i responded with okay, that’s sucks. then went on a tangent on that’s how dates work and how I should’ve known to renew my membership ahead of time. I wasn’t upset about the code not working since it’s just a 5$ code… I was just seeing if it worked since I haven’t been to GameStop in a while. Maybe he was just having a bad day or had a previous experience but he didn’t need to take it out on me…. I complimented his shirt (he had a cool cydaquill shirt) to end on a positive note while walking out. Hopefully your experience will be better than mine. Don’t really write reviews but I felt like it’s better to just write a review and move on.
Fantastic experience: Nick / Nicholas was amazing at this location - took care of an ongoing refund problem I've been having that was getting can kicked by the company but he got it resolved for me. His customer service assisting others while I was in store was also top notch! He's an exemplary asset for the company to have!
Negative experience: Every single time i come into this location i’m spoken to like i’m incompetent over an incorrect phone number, asking about a sale, etc. this is why gamestop is going bankrupt. tracey is ruining this location. just drive up the street to towncenter.

Fantastic experience: Updating my review. Since my inital bad experience here i have since been greeted with much better customer service. Tracey has been helpful and has helped me with multiple submissions. The manager here is also very friendly and kind. Will continue to submit my orders with them.

Negative experience: JUST GO TO TOWNCENTER! Customer service is absolutely horrid here. That fact that I was spoken to rudely, passive aggressively, and dismissively over items Gamestop is paying these folks to sale is completely wild to me. I even admitted that I wasn't familiar with a product and needed advice, the employees solution was for me to "youtube it" to figure it out. I left and bought nothing. I go to the towncenter location, ask the same questions, get advice, and walk out with the exact game I was looking for. There is a guy that works at this location that looks like John Snow. He's freaking amazing. If you actually need to engage with the sales rep and he's not there, just walk out. This is the 2nd time, I've came to this location and he wasn't on shift that I've left empty handed and irritated. Star for John Snow and nothing or nobody else.

Negative experience: I wish I could give zero stars. Never had a problem ever with a GameStop until today. The gentleman with glasses who worked there is extremely rude to me for no reason. I went to the GameStop in Town Center and was treated with respect and made my purchases there instead. They should fire the guy who was working 8/29/24. I have never experienced this at any other GameStop and I hope the manager takes action.
Fantastic experience: Recently visited the store to purchase a new game and join as a Pro member. The associate was very helpful. The store had great prices also.
Negative experience: We were just turned away 9 minutes before the listed close time. Just quickly wanted to look. Employee said they close earlier than listed hours and refused to let us in.
Fantastic experience: Good location with plenty of games and fan merchandise. They can give you a list of other stores with stock if you are looking for something specific. Look for sales, especially on clearance stuff, which is sometimes an extra 30-50% off. You can look online to see if the store you are going to has the game you are looking for, which is nice. The inventory on used games varies greatly between stores.
Negative experience: How do you give negative stars? Don’t know the guys name who works here, well today we stopped in to grab my fiancé something and the doors were locked but said guy was standing right there looking at him and couldn’t even bother to say we’re closed just ignored my fiancé after he called, to add he then screamed through the glass we open at 12 (it was 11:59). No big deal they were closed but maybe hire people who are people friendly not douchebags
Negative experience: The overall place is ok. I frequent this location and the employee named Lena is very rude and unprofessional. Not only that all she really did was speak very negatively about management… it’s amazing that she hasn’t had any other complaints… definitely won’t be back while she is there!!

Negative experience: I bought a game for Xbox series X for my daughter for Christmas, while at game stop the girl told me to get the case off the shelf and she put the game in and then charged me for a brand new game. I instead decided to get my daughter game pass and the game I bought she was able to download for free. I went to return the game and the same chick told me I couldn't return the game because the seal was broken. She told me they would only do a trade in. My husband got upset and told me to get whatever for it and he would never come back to which the guy that worked at GameStop threw the game back at me and told me they wouldn't even do a trade. Game stop and their employees have become some of the WORST to deal with!! There are too many options out there. I won't be back! To hell with GameStop!
Negative experience: I really wish I could give zero stars. My headphones ended up not working and this location refused to do anything. Go to the townscenter location. So much more helpful and was able to get the problem fixed. The headphones were malfunctioned and this location was too stupid to realize or even care to help. You guys suck
Fantastic experience: I’m at store 5705 Jax fl . On south side Blvd . Vee and Trevor are absolute god sent! They answered ALL my questions ,remained professional, helped me save money and made my hectic life so much easier ! Such a joy to shop with these guys! I wish they were employed at every place I shop during the rushed holiday season! True asset to the GameStop franchise! Thanks a million guys !

Negative experience: Went in this morning to try and sell my son's Xbox 1 x and the guy working looks at it for 2 seconds and says this has bug dropping. I replied with what kind of bugs? He says cockroaches. I said we have never had cockroaches. He just looked at us with disgust. So we took it to the next one down the road and the guy quoted us and said it seems to be in good condition (never making a rude comment or saying it has bug droppings). We will never take our business back to the first one.
