Experiencia negativa: While I don’t blame the associates that work here, I do have a huge problem with GameStop now. I preordered a game and showed up a couple minutes after open to pick it up. I was told they didn’t have sufficient stock and couldn’t guarantee that I’d get the preorder bonuses guaranteed even though I had preordered. So I’d dint even get the game I paid for. Are you kidding me? Then when I reached out via email they pretty much told me I was out of luck and it was my own fault for having reasonable expectations. How ridiculous this company is! Having the expectation that one should receive the game they preordered (and paid for in full) as well as the bonuses advertised is not any kind of unreasonable expectation. But to GameStop, apparently they don’t care about customer service. I had this company and will never do business with them again.

Experiencia negativa: OMG this store is a mess. They do not help you under any circumstances go to the post falls location this one and the other under Jason's leadership is a mess. Nick management in post falls is great. Jason has questionable leadership at best. I have no problem with Gamestop its Jason's leadership omg what a horrible run store. I tried to return a defective switch 2 and they did everything possible to Stonewall me. New Switch 2. I eventually got a meeting but declined since I saw the he didn't care.

Experiencia fantástica: Mad props for Amos, Thanks man! :) Went to the store and picked up a switch 2 I got confused when I couldn't find a code for mario kart world in the box turns out it was pre-loaded onto the console I just missed the instructions. He was super chill, made a call to get the info he needed and worked with me all the way with the steps I needed. Stellar service

Experiencia negativa: Well got to gamestop at 4:50 and the door is locked and there's a sign on the door saying left at 5:15 and will be back at 6 and 5:15 came around guy came out locked the door then got in his car and left so the store was locked up for almost a half hour before the guy left so lame bad enough the doesn't open till 12pm

Experiencia negativa: Guy named Amos was either having a bad day or he really hates his job. I just came in to trade-in my Xbox S to a Series X and the first thing this guy tried to tell me is "they don't have any series X" as I'm literally looking at them lol. This guy worked harder trying to talk me out of it than just doing his job. He then asked me weird questions like "have I ever been banned from Xbox". What in the world? Like I would really be buying a brand new one if I was banned?

Experiencia negativa: Went here to find some games for Christmas presents. The staff were rude and condescending with a touch of sarcastic arrogance. The games are over priced, several titles were $10 - $20 more than what you can find them for at Walmart or Costco, worse yet is a lot of them are even free with basic online plans for your console. We were trying to find split screen multi-player games and the staff had no interest in helping and pretended to be busy while being rude, even though they were standing around talking prior to and for a short time after we entered the store.

He was extremely rude and unhelpful and couldn't even tell me where the next closest store is. I decided I would rather pay the extra to have it shipped back via FedEx than deal with his piss poor attitude.

Experiencia negativa: I ordered a used white ps4 pro online from Gamestop. It did not work, the only Gamestop at the time to exchange that had ps4 pros was in Airway Heights. They had a refurbished black pro model. The white pro cost me over 30 dollars more than the black model. However, doing his best, on the phone getting help on how to do the trade on the register, the man was told to do it as a str8 swap, using the cost of the black model. This cheated me over 30 bucks. I mentioned this to the online source, when I was asked if the problem with the order had been fixed, and they never replied back. One would think I would get the difference in cost back. I'm not donating to Gamestop or anything. It has been a while, but since no one got in touch with me, I thought a warning for others was needed. Don't order from Gamestop, it could cost you more than what you end up with.

Experiencia negativa: This is the third time I’ve been to this location in the past few weeks and there’s a new guy that’s seems to be extremely stressed out when asked any questions. He stated multiple times that he hasn’t had the proper training to run the store by himself. I don’t believe it’s entirely his fault but it’s annoying when you have basic questions about what games are coming out and he doesn’t know how to help you. I witnessed multiple other customers turn around and leave when he stated he doesn’t know how to do something and that he’s overwhelmed.. please train your employees!

Experiencia negativa: The store says they open at 10 am online, the store hours posted on their door says the open at 10am also…. They employee didn’t show up until 10:01am and walked in, locked the door back up and still hasn’t opened the store. It’s 10:17am now and the store is still closed. I called the store a few times and knocked on the door but no answer to either. I’m here to get a gift for someone’s birthday and i planned it to where I’d have enough time to make it to the party. I’m still waiting….. this is not okay.

Experiencia negativa: I preface by saying I get the idea of pushing product in your store,,,,,, But I came in looking for a base/dock for the family Nintendo Switch. The staff acknowledged my family and I upon entry and they were helping one other customer. We waited and wandered the store until it was our turn and then explained what I needed. To which they very sternly claimed what I needed didn’t exist. I mentioned that they have them online both for their own website and many other online stores I.e. Amazon. They told me they were all fake and I was out of luck. Well this bothered me because it was as if because I wasn’t buying from them there were no other options. Everytime I have come into this store it is always subpar service making my visits far and few between. By the way the first base I ordered on Amazon works great and has zero issues

This year has been awful, customer service lies admits to lying to get you to renew pro membership then taking away pro point after assuring me if I renewed the points wouldn’t expire. Experiencia negativa: I normally do not go to this gamestop. But because they were the only store that currently held the item I wanted I went 2 for 2 different items. I will never ever go back to this gamestop. They have the absolute worst customer service and just plain respect out of all the gamestops I've been to in spokane. The same worker checked me out both times and he was so quick to tell me I couldn't return something I bought a week ago and paid the extra for the warranty. Once he decided to look down at the product and see for himself I just bought it, he said "I guess your eligible"... seriously?! Tried making me feel like it was my lucky day or something. Twice I have been treated like I should be thankful to be shopping at this gamestop! I know that sounds ridiculous but that is really how they treat you there. No smiles on their faces or anything. Terrible! Make the drive to 29th or to shadle Park, they are happy to have your business and are always helpful.

Experiencia positiva: Not a terrible place but this is more so to complain about the website. I order something off of the GameStop website which originally was planned to take about 3-6 days to arrive. There was an option to pay 10 extra dollars to have it be delivered earlier. Turns out it made no difference and I’m waiting longer. I have no issue waiting but when you give the option to pay so it can arrive earlier then honor that. And if your offer for it to arrive earlier isn’t realistic then don’t offer it in the first place.

Pre pandemic I used to go in often to a pretty large wall full of games for the 360.....I went in yesterday, 1st time since b4 covid, and there is literally 1 single shelf wth about 25-30 games on it for the 360 now! Still a great store just not for xbox 360 games I guess! I recommend GameStop for most of your gaming needs.

Experiencia negativa: About two weeks ago i was told by one of the gamestop employees that they were gonna have a bundle of new ps consoles for black friday and that they were opening at 7 am so get there to have a chance at getting one. I was excited that i would atleast have a chance at finally getting a ps5. Got there on blk fri. And got in at 7am. First thing i went up and Asked for a ps5 console. The kid there looked at me and non-schlanghntly told me that they had sold them all the the day before. On Thanksgiving... when nothing was even open on Thanksgiving. Not even superamrkets.. all the consoles they were supposedly selling for blk fri. Was sold the day before on a day when they shouldnt have even been open. Needless to say i was p.o'd, thanks for nothing gamestop.

Experiencia fantástica: This location is an anomaly as it has helpful staff and is clean and well stocked. This is something not all Gamestops have as most have annoying pushy sales they try to shove at you. Most don't even ask and add promotional junk to your purchases. This location is a good one.

Experiencia fantástica: This is my son's HAPPY place, every time we come in the staff is very kind and helpful. There is dividers at the checkout counter, be mask ready. Everything is properly put together due to state regulations because of the risk of COVID-19. This is a place where children touch everything, so they have a helpful hand sanitizer dispenser. Which is nice as well as convenient, because I have a little one that does touch everything. It's a cool little store, I give it 5 stars because they have brand new games, & used games. It fits every budget, quick stop shop to make the kid happy!

Experiencia negativa: Simply called and asked if they carried something specific for N64 and the guy scoffed at me and said that they hadn't carried Nintendo items for the last 25 years. Then when I asked "25 years?" He preceded to assure me he was only mocking me, and had no knowledge of how long it had actually been, but that they certainly did not carry Nintendo. Experiencia negativa: Went in to preorder a game, was told it was too late to preorder since it came out the next day (which was fine) and to come in then to buy it. What they failed to mention was that there would be no copies for sale since all of the copies they were getting had already been preordered. Experiencia negativa: If only there was a .5 star button. I bought a PS4 game from here 3 days ago. I live in the mountains so I don't come to town often, but I drove all the way into town so that I could get a refund for this game. I brought in the game in perfect condition with all of its packaging with my receipt and she proceeded to tell me that "their 7 day return policy only applies to used games" and because "their promotion ended yesterday" there was nothing she could do except give me $23 in store credit. The game cost $59.99. She didn't offer to help me or explain anything else in any way. Just said sorry and went on to helping someone else. No wonder this company is going out of business.

Experiencia positiva: I wanted a used Xbox one that works I have gone back 4 times an been through 2 different Xboxes about to be 3rd one now none of the Xboxes worked ! First one the HDMI port was messed up the second one won't read disks just wanted to play some games valley and shadle store is where I got the Xboxes from now we gotta go to another location to pick up another Xbox in hopes this one works actually!
