Experiencia negativa: I tried to return a gift I had purchased because the recipient in question already owned the item I purchased. I was told that it could not be returned because it included playing cards, despite the box being sealed (I never even took it out of the bag). They knew when I purchased it that it was a gift, but never bothered to mention it was a final sale and can't be returned. I get that policies exist for a reason but they ought to be explained before someone makes a large purchase there.

Experiencia negativa: I went into GameStop to sell my Nintendo Switch Lite. The employee checked everything and told me I would receive $69 on a prepaid card, which I agreed to. But once the transaction was done, he suddenly mentioned there’s a “cash penalty,” so I would only be getting $48 instead. Really? That kind of information should be disclosed upfront, not at the very end after everything is finalized. Very disappointing and misleading.

Experiencia fantástica: Went in to trade my old switch stuff for a switch 2. Had a great experience with Nick. I also had a couple of PSA submissions and it was brand new to him. Ive seen the process multiple times, the tablet also walked him through it and he did perfect!

Experiencia negativa: I am not a fan of the two per person limit on release days. I think it’s a waste of time for many people who still come in early to get there for the drop to have a bunch of scalpers and no life’s buy out the whole stock before the rest of the people children included get absolutely nothing and have to leave. Doesn’t look good for business and leaves a sour taste for everyone about gamestop. 1 per person should be the limit. You’re leaving probably 5-7 people with nothing who turn around and don’t buy a single product. Not good for business not good for customer retention because I know I won’t be coming back for anything anytime soon.

Experiencia negativa: Always a bad experience going to this Gamestop now, there always trying to force me to purchase things I don't want then give me attitude when i say no, and give me a hard time when I don't pre order, I went in to buy Star Wars Outlaws and the guy made me feel stupid for not pre ordering and told me lucky I had someone cancel or I probably wouldn't have been able to get one. I'm sorry I figured a new AAA game releasing the GAME STORE would have plenty of copies.....I'm just done with this Gamestop

Experiencia negativa: Sold us a game stop membership but never said it cost anything. We asked what was involved and the young man in the store said oh just your name and email. We looked at the receipt 30 min later when we were out of Springfield and the membership costs 25.00. we never thought we were paying extra for anything. Watch this store and these people they will take you for one of your not paying attention. We had to waste an hour out of our day fixing this. They couldn't fix over the phone, we had to drive back into Springfield and fix it. This west sunshine store told us that we could fix this at any game stop store. We went to the one on battlefield and Glenstone. They said we were supposed to fix at the original store because it will look bad on his store he worked at. But he was super nice and did take care of it for us. Would never recommend going to the weather sunshine store. They suck. We aren't local, we live an hour and half away from this game stop, it was closer to go to the south store......Wish he would have been honest.

Experiencia negativa: Just spent 500 for a Playstation 5 and went to pick it up. Employee Hayes had one customer doing a return. I was standing there and waiting to get it. No. I'll be right with you or anything. I finally spoke up he said yeah youll have to wait. He finally went in back to get it which he could have done in the first place. Then gives it to me no Thank you or anything. I won't be back. Very poor customer service.

Experiencia fantástica: Man I am not a corporate game store guy at all but I have to admit this location has impressed me. Most of the time when you go into a GameStop you get the same rude employee who hates their life and just works for the discount or whatever. This location is totally different. The GM is super friendly along with all of his staff. Always happy to chat about whatever whether it's video games, cards or collectables. Highly recommend if you must go to the dreaded corporate America store you go to this one.

Experiencia negativa: The employees are either pushy and rude or just rude. I thought the guy we bought the Switch with was pushy about sales and not very friendly, but I was shocked today when the young last was also very rude. I was the only one in there but she acted like I was a bother. I had to return a preowned switch I bought the day before because it was damaged. I’d go to the one by Barnes and noble. We’ve always had great experiences there.

Experiencia positiva: One of the better game stops I've been to. Store was clean and staff was friendly. I especially like their selection of collectibles. It wasn't inherently bigger than that of other game stops. Just stuff more suited to my taste. So no bonus points for that. It was just nice to see. My only complaint is that you have to travel through the Walmart parking lot to get to it. 5/5 customer service 5/5 cleanliness 3/5 accessibility

He called the other stores to check what they had and replaced the controller with a brand new one. 5 stars

I drove all the way to the store only to see that I have to call and have them meet me at the front door when I do so they tell me I can only buy online. Experiencia fantástica: I came in today the 23rd two days before Christmas it was swamped, phone calls and people in the store and the one person working behind the counter was as nice and level headed as could be. I know personally I would not have been able to keep it together like this man did completely alone he deserves a raise or bonus or something. He was running two registers and manning the phones with a cold, the man is a hero!!! 10/10 experience.

Experiencia fantástica: My purpose of going into Gamestop was for a pack of Pokemon cards, which was less than 5 bucks. I still got that, but it was hard to ignore some of the neat new merch that they have as well. Their pots for the ficus plants they have are 10 bucks a piece. I thought they would surely be more than that. The Pennywise stuffed animal is super cool. It has a string on the back you pull. It says different phrases. I plan on returning for that. And who couldn't use a Pacman light?? That's just super cool as well. This is the type of place you go to for games and end up finding hordes of other fantastical items as well. I highly recommend this place.
