Experiencia fantástica: Man, I showed up on Christmas Eve right before they closed. Wanting to buy a PS5 and these guys were absolutely amazing. They were very patient, knowledgeable and friendly the whole time. I'm hillbilly and didn't know anything about what the latest was and not only did they give me that knowledge but they help me find the best deals in the best games that I was looking for. It was an absolute phenomenal experience and always will return. Gabe and Robbie were the main two employees and I can't remember the third guy but he was really awesome as well. I wish they had 10 Stars cuz I would light them all up ⚡

Experiencia fantástica: I went in on black Friday with a family member. I found a couple items I wanted. They helped me find the best deal, made sure I found what I wanted and even brought suggestions for a free item option that I was not aware of while shopping before getting to the register.

Experiencia negativa: This GameStop in particular is scummier than most other places. First, they cheat you out of money for your systems, accessories, etc. only to upsell for far more than even most stores are selling consoles new. They also blame other employees for screw ups — I went in to get $50 back for two Pokémon Legends: Z-A copies I had on preorder. The guy said that it would be refunded in 48 business hours, only to call and have another employee say "Oh, well, he's new. I don't know why he told you that. You'll see it in 10 business days, though." Which tells me they don't train their employees well. They also refuse to be accountable for the mistake made — by THEIR employee. Overall, scummy practices, questionable staff.

Experiencia fantástica: Blake was such a sweetheart! It was my birthday yesterday and I was so excited to find a physical copy of Diablo 4! My husband bought the game for me, and we went on with our day. When we got home I noticed it said PS5 and I don't have a PS5 so I called to see if I could return it. Blake had already gone home yesterday so I didn't get a clear answer. I called today and spoke to Blake and he said he'd take care of it. So my husband and I came in and we got a refund. Blake gave us cash so we could go directly to another location and buy Diablo 4, PS4 version, instead of refunding it back onto the card and us waiting 7-10 business days. Blake was wonderful and I truly appreciate his help. He was friendly and kind!

Michelle, the manager, was exceptional. Her attentiveness and knowledge were immediately apparent. She not only met my expectations but significantly surpassed them. As a Pro member, I benefited from discounts that went beyond the usual, and Michelle meticulously navigated the system to ensure I received every possible advantage. She efficiently located a replacement Xbox and ensured I had everything I needed to get back to gaming. Even in a reality where good service is a given, Michelle's dedication and personalized assistance were remarkable. Her proactive problem-solving and genuine care transformed a potentially stressful situation into a positive experience. Experiencia negativa: EDIT: WOW HOLY COW. After reading SEVERAL reviews; Austin is a problem employee and has notoriously exhibited poor customer service skills. Why is he still employed My experience with Austin is why I will not be renewing my pro membership when it expires. I went to buy a game today. When I check out with Austin, he pushes a couple buttons and says “…You have a lot of coupons. You’ll only owe me $5 today.” I was severely confused because the screen now showed a “renewal” and another charge for $10 on top of the game. I owed WAAAAY more than $5 that day. I NEVER ASKED ABOUT A MEMBERSHIP OR A RENEWAL AND HE JUST AUTOMATICALLY ADDED IT. So then I asked “what is this renewal?” He said “You expire soon and it’ll be cheaper today.” I asked when? He says “Like one month.” I said WHEN? Then he gave me a specific date. The point is that this is dishonest and unprofessional. I didn’t even expire for 30 days. Money or savings isn’t an issue. YOU CAN NOT CHARGE PEOPLE FOR SOMETHING THEY DID NOT ASK FOR. In the end I neglectfully agreed to renew because he made me feel uncomfortable about it. But I won’t be renewing again. Nothing is worse than getting swindled by a bunch of stinky nerds and I won’t fall victim again. Austin this is for you: Don’t be so confused next time someone questions what the extra charge is. I never asked for it nor did I care about a membership renewal today. Also flipping computer screens and showing the customer software that they’re not familiar with doesn’t help anything. When someone asks when their membership expires, don’t give an estimate. Tell them the date. You could use some retraining.
Experiencia negativa: I would give zero stars if I could. The cashier, I didn't bother to get his name, but he is the one that is always way too pushy with his sales pitch for thier rewards program. They had 3 cashiers but still had like 10 people in line. I was in line for over 15 mins just trying to let my son purchase a keychain. I get up there and he starts in on his pitch. Which I know as well as he does at this point. I say "No thanks." He acts like I said nothing. I wait a few seconds. I say "Actually I was just here yesterday and they offered this already, but I am good." He again acts like I said nothing. Very infiriating at this point. I give him another moment and say "Ok, so nothing has changed since yesterday. I'll pass, thank you." He then says well since your in here often we WILL just set up a free account, what is your email? I explain, I am really not interested and he finally gives up. I really wanted to point out to him that the line of impatient customers would prefer you just let me pay for my items post haste. How badly are they forced to make upsells that I had to say no 5 times. First rule of sales. Consider the customers time and interest. At that point it became so awkward and frustrating that I didn't sign up out of principle.
Experiencia fantástica: Bought a PS5 from this store, it had some issues and they replaced it. 2nd console had more issues (they were refurbished consoles, not brand new) went in again and they helped me upgrade to a brand new console. Austin and Perceus were incredibly helpful thru this process and very knowledgeable about everything that was going on. I highly recommend them if you are wanting to upgrade your current system or just have questions in general. Will definitely be back in the future!
Experiencia negativa: I don’t shop here normally but when I do every time I buy Xbox 360 games they’re either scratched or no cover art. I Tried to avoid GameStop just in general with buying games due to this issue.
Experiencia negativa: Went to this game stop and bought an Xbox series x. The guy behind the was way to pushy about trying to make me sign up for an account . I refused and just wanted to pay. He finally was going to let me pay and when I went to pull out cash he freaked out and mentioned something about going to call the cops and ran off to get his manager because I had a large amount of cash on me. I will never step foot in here again.

No physical damage to controller or anything.I had bought the xbox x brand new about 6 months ago and received a faulty controller out of the box. The gamestop on sunshine road made me buy a new controller and had told me i had to return everything or get $5 trade in value for a new out of box controller only 2 days old. The GM of this store helped me out with a brand new controller and kept my warranty. She is outstanding and i will be coming back to this location from now on
Experiencia fantástica: Michelle and Austin are absolutely awesome! You can tell they enjoy what they do, and enjoy helping other people just as much. They were able to answer any question I had, which was quite a few. If you see them at the store, let them know how great they are.
Experiencia negativa: Beware customer service is horrible, would not let returns of Playstation portal when it did not work as advertised, told me they could buy it back for $96, was bought 4 days ago for 199.99 also had receipt, go to best buy where they have a genuine return policy not one that's hidden and can only find on internet

Experiencia negativa: Sold me a refurbished series x awhile back but didn't tell me they were giving me a hdmi 2.0 that comes with the s and not the 2.1 that comes with a new series x. Very unhappy about the old switcheroo. Especially when you need the 2.1 for 4k.

Experiencia negativa: Came in to purchase an ETB. I declined the Pro Membership and the staff consistently questioned why I wouldn’t do it and intensely pressured me. Additionally, after I declined this they became rude and dismissive. Unfortunate.

Stood in line, for 20 minutes, with only one person in front of us, and 2 employees there and when we went to ask questions, they were short with us and was very dismissive of us. Snooty attitudes. They do whoever, have a few good rare things. They are overpriced. Did not care for this location at all!

Austin, when a customer politely declines an upcharge or pro membership, don't scoff at them and continue to berate them. You sir, are working an entry level job and acting like you own the place. Good job on chasing off a customer. Also, how dare you talk down to a father in front of his daughter! If my daughter was not there, things would have been different. Experiencia negativa: I recently bought a Nintendo switch here. The store is clean and organized and had a large selection. When we were checking out, the clerk explained that a membership would be free due to the amount of our purchase. However, after the reviewing the receipt, I was charged full price for it. In addition, Austin, the store manager, asked if I wanted to purchase a screen protector as well, which I declined. He was insistent and said that he would put it on the device for free, to which I agreed. When putting on the screen protector, Austin was very careless with my brand new Nintendo switch, waving it around in the air and making jokes about it flying out of his hand. At one point it even fell screen first onto the counter to which he reacted “if anyone else was doing this I would be worried but I’ve done so many of these”. His arrogant attitude frustrated me and I will not be returning to this store. The screen protector was put on crooked and full of dust and bubbles. Overall, a horrible experience.

Experiencia negativa: This review isn't toward this store its towards the company. So I ordered a 256gb oculus online expecting to get said item. Guess what they sent me? The sent me the wrong thing and sent me an 128 gb one. Do not order from gamestop because they will scam you for your money. They expect me to return my thing for there screw up when they should have sent the correct thing in the first place.

Experiencia negativa: Genuinely soured experience. Wanted to attend a midnight release. I have little experience doing it so I asked the cashier (tall blond ponytail male) about when to show up and what events were happening. He only said "Show up whenever, it didn't matter". When I arrived before 11, I found out that there was a raffle for prizes and freebies. The raffle tickets were given when prepaying for the game (I was never given one nor was I the only one) I also found out that merch for the game was also being sold but when it was my turn to pick up the game I prepared, I asked the cashier (blon ponytail again) , he gave me a blunt "No." and that was the end of it. I can understand that the line was long or if the registers were closed, but it was his lack of communication or explanation of what was happening that soured the experience. Had I known an inkling more than I could show up whenever I would had been happy to participated and bought some extra merchandise from the store. I have had better experiences in the past however if future visits have the same level of indifferent sloppiness, I will have to reconsider.

Then asked if we had an account and we did not but told us we would be dumb if we didn’t sign up. Then put warrants on the preowned games we bought without us noticing. Experiencia positiva: I mean...It's almost a 1 stop shop along as you aren't going for older generation gaming. The main downside to gamestop, that I think many other people can agree on is the trade value of your items, as in store credit or cash os just absurd. If I buy a $400 PS4 from them. And 6 months say I sell it to them....You know how much they will buy it for? About $120 give or take. You know how much you can get selling yourself? $200 - $250. Go figure.

Experiencia negativa: one of the guys was super rude and told me he couldn’t sell me the console i wanted (nintendo switch) then rolled his eyes and got it for me and the other guy who i checked out with was being rude as well and kept cutting me off when i was asking a question. He also didn’t ask me if i wanted a warranty on the switch and told me i declined it when i didn’t and wouldn’t go back.

One of the guys turned me on to a game called the forest after taking at least 20 minutes of his time looking for games for me and chit chatting about my gaming preferences. I feel bad that I don't remember his name but he has that light frosted hair. You know who you are dude lol. Experiencia negativa: Store sells returned items as new without checking them. We bought an 8 to external drive that showed less than 200 mb free space and errored when formatting. The whole inside was covered in fur including on stickers that were restuck to the sheet. Very dissatisfied and disappointed.
Experiencia fantástica: This is a very good spot for gamers. They have given me some very good deals on buying and selling games. Their return policy is great if you ever need it but I haven really needed to return many things. If I don't buy through Playstation or Xbox directly then I'm using GameStop.
