The movies we bought cost $4 each and it was buy 3 get 3 free. They also had blu ray, video games, game systems, controllers, computer accessories, phones, tablets, pokemon and more. Get deals on stuff too. Well come back on a couple of weeks to expand our catalog.

Experiencia negativa: One of the employees took my trade in and had told me it would take one hour, he also said there was nobody in front of me, they weren’t busy at all whatsoever too…..so why 1 hour? He pretended to take a look at the stuff. Downers grove takes 10-20 minutes max to check stuff and give an offer. I wait one hour in the store and see a new employee come in for his shift. The guy told him to take over. Not until I asked how much longer to wait did the other employee start looking at my items. Laziness? I think so. This store needs to do better with the buying process. I won’t be coming back to this location anymore. Horrible experience.

I say if you are gonna buy expensive products double check before buying. Otherwise they have a return or trade policy.

They’ll tell you “x number of days to return a bought item”, but conveniently leave out if you do return it’s only store credit. Like what? So it’s not really a return then. Give the people their money back you scammers or let them know beforehand. I would be real mad if I bought an expensive (USED) item , go home in mind to test , don’t like it and decide well I’ll just return it , only to find out later I can’t get my money back and have been scammed. Change your secret policy Disc Replay.

Don't waste your time here with the long and unnecessary wait along with the rude staff members with an attitude when being asked about policy and quoted wait times. Respectfully, there's no reason for back talk and muttering things under your breath. Save it for when the customer leaves.

Experiencia fantástica: Very abundant in classic games and movies!!! Its very helpful that they try and keep some type of order of alphabetical order. Like anywhere customers show up and make a mess but the place is always clean employees always helpful and friendly and they usually know what they are talking about. We are constantly in there with my son since he loves classic gaming

Experiencia positiva: I go to many disc replays including out of state locations and this is my favorite one because the staff is nice and helpful the store is clean and best of all the switch games selection is great with a lot of hard to find gems. I have to take away an entire star however for something they do that is beyond my comprehension. They put the price tags DIRECTLY over the game titles! Sometimes game companies use obscure looking font on the cover plus I don't have the best sight so I rely on looking at the big white title on the spine of the game. It gets even worse when you go to the glass case! They again have price tags over the titles but now you can't even pick them up to try and read the covers because they are locked behind glass! I spent 148.00 and probably would have spent more but they were busy so I didn't want to have them open the case and stand there waiting for me to look at each and every title. I complained about it around 2 months ago and the woman just kept apologizing but I was there last week and nothing has changed but I complained to one of the guys and he said they've been getting complaints about it so they're working on changing it so if they follow through on that this will easily be a 5 star store. May I suggest putting the price tag AFTER the title.

Experiencia negativa: Had an odd experience here. I brought in 10 items (2 DVD and 1 mariokart double dash for GameCube. They said they would only buy 4 items and gave me a "reciept" showing the 4 items. The mariokart was 20$ and the other 3 were maybe $1 each. They then said, the game wasn't in the box but they will buy the box for $20 (and said the game isn't worth more then 50$). They then handed me 4 items they didn't want to buy. Unfortunately this is where math may not be their strong suit as the 2 dad's the "don't buy" somehow ended up in the "buy pile". Unfortunately for a seller, the buy pile is hidden from you behind layers or red tape you can't get through. So when I ask for my items back as I wasn't going to sell any of it, I get 8 items back... again... not the 2 dad's they swear they don't buy. But their other store does and wanted horror (the 2 i brought in) because they said they did. Then the disk for the mariokart game just "disappears" and magically wasn't in the case when I brought it in... but they won't review the video tape of them opening the box and no "manager" will deal with you. Just a 22 year old kid who has been running this scam for a while. I don't buy it guys... sorry . . They tried to play dumb and got caught trying to steal DVD'S AND SUCESSFULLY STOLE MARIOKART DOUBLE DASH A 100$ VIDEO GAME!!! I got the dad's back but because they won't show me the vid of the box opening I am forced to call police and report a minor theft. Which the company knows. Be very careful selling your items here, its all behind walls and curtains and is designed to remove you from your treasures using any and all means necessary.

Experiencia fantástica: Ill warn anyone coming to sell anything to them. Games, consoles, controllers, etc. Make sure it is pristine or at least close to it, and make sure you are calling ahead of time to see if they will buy things in advance. They say they give 40-50% of retail value and while thats true for the most part, chances are the 50% would mean in box sealed. They dont buy if the factory seal is off and if theres a security problem(specifically with profiles and such) they most likely wont buy either. This wasnt a hit, i am very happy with what i buy and sell there. But just forwarning to consumers who might not know how they do things usually.

I saw 3 copies of Simpsons Hit and Run for the ps2 here going from $6 up to $11.99, which is less than the $18 copy I paid for from a guy on eBay. Before you do check online, I would give this place a shot - you'll never know what you can find! EDIT: it has been several years, and the quality of this shop dramatically dropped. Prices are outrageous.

Experiencia positiva: Service was a little slow but the food was well worth the wait! Got the margarita pizza and added sausage with a gluten free crust. They got the crust spot on not too thin either and the bottom was still crispy when I had the leftovers later!

Experiencia negativa: Only shopped a couple of times, which is unfortunate because they have a pretty good selection. First time I went they gave me a broken product so I had to drive 40 mins back the next day to exchange it. This most recent time I was waiting to check out, and there were 2 people behind the second counter, working and talking. I waited for a couple minutes, and was ignored as someone dropped something off to sell, and the employee walked right past me back to his post. I’m not going to beg you to take my money, so I won’t be coming back. Hopefully they figure it out.

Experiencia negativa: Decent selection and great prices, however the trade in process was horrendous. Waited a bit over 3 hours for less than a handful of items to be traded in for credit. After waiting that long it was decided that the trade wasn’t worth the time we waited so we went to go checkout and buy the items we had and leave. Upon doing so they told us they had the trade in already completed and “called” the phone number provided multiple times. Not only did I NOT receive the phone calls, they did not call my name in person to let me know that they had finished, they did however call another persons name before mine for their trade even though they went after me. It almost seemed like it was a personal mission for the staff to have us wait, again, 3 hours on purpose. We were in the store the entire time and even asked an update about the trade one hour in, so they knew the entire time we were within the store. If you’re looking to sell items, please please please look into the other Disc Replays by Downers Grove and Orland Park. Though the distances may be further from here, my experience with selling between both other Disc Replays were vastly different and better than this one. 1/5.

Experiencia fantástica: Love this place has a little of everything classic games newer games and also consoles. Movies Funkos, cd’s and even vinyls. Action figures collectibles statues posters and nick nacks here and there. Electronics on display and video game accessories. One of the few disc replay still around that Carrie’s a little of everything for everyone. Customer service is a hit or miss and their buy/trade value similar to pawn shops so your items will be value from what I seen and experience @minimum 30% trade value or 20% cash, now that is depending of the value and rarity of the item. Have not asked if they willing to negotiate price does not seem like it but will try next time am around. I do make the 1 hour trip every other week to the shop, and I seen that another disc replay is closer but I still like the selection here. I know am giving them power by saying that but it is the truth merchandise selection is good and varies you will always leave with something in your hands. Other than that give them a try plus the area has plenty to see shop and eat. Update: I verify and they do not Barter per employee words, just looking to negotiate on some Funko prices, eBay last sold the last 4 recent sales where $20 free shipping, disc replay had them for $30 and one that went for $130 last 2 recent sales in march and one in February disc replay had it at $150, so not a big deal but I did order them on eBay it said a week to deliver got them In 3 days.my total on eBay was $209 & some change with taxes for 4 Funkos,. Either way I still like this store but it’s a give and take I rather give local business my money but we can’t win all battles sometimes that extra $10-$30 decides if you can buy 1-2 or 1-4 items

For the challenges that reselling presents, the employees at Disc Replay go above and beyond with customer service, not to mention they are quite knowledgeable about so many games, movies, consoles and electronics, they all really need to be appreciated!

Experiencia negativa: I recently visited Disc Replay and purchased Pokémon Soul Silver for $140. The game was marked as "Near Mint" (NM) and included a case, which I thought was a fair deal considering the value of both the game and its original packaging. However, upon closer inspection in my car, I noticed the cover art was blurry, which raised concerns. After researching, I realized that the case was a fake reprint, while the game itself was authentic. Assuming the store had been scammed by a seller, I went back inside to inform them. After waiting in a long line, I explained the issue to a newer cashier, expecting some concern or acknowledgment. To my shock, he admitted that Disc Replay themselves reprint the artwork—something they never disclosed. This is incredibly misleading, as the original case and inserts hold significant value for collectors. I requested a full refund since I had purchased the game less than ten minutes prior. The cashier refused and only offered store credit. At this point, other customers in line were visibly surprised by this shady practice. Another employee then offered to check the back for the original case—implying that they might separate and resell the real cases at an additional profit. After some back and forth, they eventually agreed to make an "exception" and process my return. While I got my money back, the entire experience was frustrating and left me feeling deceived. ⚠️ Buyers beware: If you're purchasing a game expecting an authentic case and inserts, ask questions before buying. Otherwise, you may end up paying collector prices for a reprinted case without knowing it. I will not be shopping here again.

Experiencia fantástica: By far the best disc replay location. There are other locations that are much closer to me, but none of the others compare to the Naperville location. Other locations are about 15-20 minutes away, but I happily drive almost a hour for this location The store is clean, everything is organized, and has a place, and most importantly the employees are very nice.

So I took back my PS2 right and they swapped out my original gray wired PS2 controller for a trashed clear GameStop controller that I never purchased before. Also the money I received for said games was no were near worth it. I will not be back to this place ever

They have a ton of older movies as well as new movies. DVD/Blue Ray options. Additionally, Disc Replay has various game consoles, computers, games, CDs, and more. Highly recommend if you're in the area and prefer physical copies of media to check them out and stop on by.

Sam took time out of his day to search all through the catacombs of the store to find the one copy they had and totally made my day. Excellent service, will definitely be back.

Experiencia negativa: Was looking to buy PlayStation 3 they had in stock I asked this big dude with glasses if I could still play online and if I could purchase games in PlayStation store as well he told me the servers were shut down and online gameplay was no longer available neither was the PlayStation store I left disappointed but I did further research and that’s not true you still can play online good thing he told me that because luckily I found a system for a fraction of the price as the one from the store I would’ve bought it from disc replay if they would’ve gave me the right info I recommend the owner to hire people with less attitude and know what they are talking about when it comes to games

Sometimes it's empty and I can just look around and other days it can be very busy, and i'll just take a quick look. But this is a great place to check if you love older games, on the hunt for movies, music, and collectibles.

Experiencia positiva: Great Store especially if you are interested in retro gaming. 9.5 times out of 10 I've had a great experience with them however a few months ago I bought a used Genesis controller from them and some of the buttons didn't work. I also noticed a lot more scratches on it after I took it out of the plastic packaging. Other than that they have great prices on video games, game consoles, and dvds. They also resurface discs for only $1 which saves you a LOT. I brought in a scratched up Dreamcast game which costs about $65 dollars on average and after getting resurfaced it works like new! So I would definitely recommend this place. Just be cautious about used video game controllers.

Experiencia fantástica: Just stopped in to see what ps2 games they had in stock. Store was well organized. I bought 2 games and then had an nba street resurfaced. The team explained to me what each level of cleaning the disc does. $1 standard cleaning (maybe just small scratches) $3 heavy scratches. My game looked like a 3 yr old threw it a few times. I picked the $3 option. I waited 7-10 mins for the process to be complete and man oh mannn I was impressed by the results. Game looks brand new. Insane.. The employees were nice and very approachable. Answered my questions and definitely helpful. If you’re in town, definitely try n stop at this place.it has a lot to offer. Definitely worth it.

Then got home (after it being rejected) and low and behold No DISCS.......(its selling for $100+ online)!!!! Scammer!!!! Seller beware!!!! At least E-Bay isn't that evil. It's sad too becuase I have sold $3k+ to them. Makes me wonder how hard I was burned or bent over a barrel! Zero Stars!!! Also (Edit) second set is also missing a disc as well....FYL I should buy some cream for the burn- Yuck!!!!

Held items for us since we had to make a drive there and are always kind and make sure we're happy with our purchases. Also one of the few gaming stores that smells nice lol
