Experiencia fantástica: Finally was able to check out this store after shopping online with LRG during a road trip. If you like retro gaming and fun relics of the past eras of games then you’ll love this store. Not only will you find LRG releases that aren’t sold elsewhere or on their online storefront, but they are all listed at standard prices, no upcharging. What really was a cool surprise was the preowned retro game selection! Prices were all fair and most all were CIB. I don’t know if I’ll ever be back in Cary, but this is worth a stop if you can make it!

Experiencia fantástica: This was an AWESOME visit!! We went for their 10th Anniversary and I cannot praise how knowledgeable, kind, and professional everyone was! The store was clean, organized, and they had a great set up during the anniversary. We ended up going back to the store the day after, and everything was once again organized, cleaned, and the employees were genuinely so nice, down to earth, with superb customer service skills! It truly was such an amazing experience.

Very retro, super clean, and very well organized. Chris and Matt were extremely helpful, kind, and giving. I walked out with what I needed and they sent me home with two more items (gifts) I have been on the hunt for, for a while. I plan to be a reoccurring customer and let you know this is a great business with great employees!

Experiencia positiva: I didn't think the only LRG store would be in my state, but I'm happy it is. My bias against the company as a whole aside, this store was great. Clean, well lit, the game variety included more than LRG products which was great, and the extra goodies like the claw machine, books, and vinyl records were a great way to celebrate indie/lesser known titles. My complaints are that the prices sometimes range from high to, in rare cases, extortionate and that the claw machine didn't take card payment.

Experiencia fantástica: As a PS3 and forward guy I always appreciated the selection and fair prices here. I don't go for their limited releases all the time as I mostly game in the AA/AAA space, but their packaging and presentation for those limited releases I do grab is always top notch. Never have had a bad interaction here. Only minor complaint for the company as a whole: Where is the Hifi Rush release!? I kid.

You can't beat their trade in value and its a treat to be able to geek out with them. It's good to see a store that really cares about the customer and connect with them too.

A few weeks ago I was in for the event, and I just couldn’t walk away with out expressing tremendous gratitude for the folks working the store. I love your products, and what limited run represents in supporting physical media, but the store wouldn’t be the same with other folks. I truly see the amazing work, love and passion from all the employees and it means the world to me to support them. So thanks for a great event and even greater thanks for having great people. Experiencia fantástica: The store is awesome, but I bought a used game. Resident Evil collection when I opened the box at home, I found Resident Evil 4 only. I didn't call because I know it was going to be an issue trying to get my money back I have changed my review. The ladies at this store have been so awesome with us that I have to express how happy I am with this store!!!

Experiencia negativa: Love the store and it wide selection of new & used games but customer service is a big deal. I’ve only had problems with one employee and I go here frequently and he always acts the same. He’s a white bearded guy with glasses mid to late 30s always has a smart remark to say when you ask a question as if he’s trying to make himself self feel powerful by belittling you also watches people and makes faces. All other staff that I have dealt with are super friendly and helpful just this one guy that needs to be retrained or replaced.

Experiencia fantástica: This store has the highest level of polish I've ever seen at a game store, with a storefront that rivals even some major shops in Japan when it comes to presentation. The stores layout is clean, easy to navigate, and well-organized, plus the decor is very retro but custom to their brand: with neon signs and a darker, cozy vibe. One of their rear windows has a simple pink tint shade on it that makes one half of the store really cool to browse in. Maybe an unusual thing to notice, bit I dig it. I know that Limited Run is a fairly large or at least well-known company, so some of it comes as no surprise, but what really caught me off guard was the quality selection of older second-hand games, and fair prices for both those titles and their own self-published ones. Browsing this store really does feel like going ro the rental store/local game store did as a kid. There are so many new indie titles and re-releases here that you'll almost always come across something that surprises you: and for many collectors that is a valuable and rare feeling. The staff was professional, knowledgeable, and extremely kind and enthusiastic about games. And the area this shop is in is close to other game-related establishments: with a tabletop gaming tavern and card shop right close-by. As a newer resident of NC, this shop is one of the reasons I am proud to live in this area, and will be one of the first stops I take my collector friends to when they visit. I hope Limited Run sticks around with a brick-and-mortar pressence, as one day I fear these kinds of shopping experiences are going to be rare within this hobby.

Experiencia fantástica: It's Limited Run, don't walk in thinking it's gamestop. Their selection is nostalgic, esoteric, and just plain neat. Came during their blackfriday sale, everything was 20% off. Busy, but worth it. I'll definitely be back.

Experiencia fantástica: This was beyond a five-star experience. Not only did I make an effort to pass by this store on my way down from DC to Miami, but because of traffic I arrived only 15 minutes before they closed . Luckily the employees working that night were so welcoming that they actually kept the store open about an additional 15 or 20 minutes for me and my family to completely browse their collection and enjoy the location. It was such a great experience for me and my family, including walking away with claw machine prizes, stickers and cards, and quite a few limited edition games. I highly recommend it to anyone that collects limited edition or retro games. It's also located at a perfect plaza with other gaming shops, bars and restaurants.

Experiencia negativa: Not a Company or Business I would recommend. Very Nasty customer service when there is a problem with a order. Then when receiving a order it takesYears after the money was sent to them to actually deliver the order. This is not to mention a few times when the order would come in damage due to core packaging. An if you make them Aware of the problem that's when they're nasty attitude comes out. Not to mention as I speak I'm waiting for one order and it has been over a year now since I paid them.

Experiencia fantástica: Stopped by looking for some Xbox 360 games and was pleasantly surprised! Such a large collection of games. Super friendly employees, helped me find the games I needed. I was buying gifts, so when I was checking out the Disney Infinity game, he told me about the other parts I’d need for the game (which I didn’t have & didn’t know!) Really nice of them! Awesome place!!

I found that they have an extensive collection of titles for just about any game console as well as friendly and knowledgeable staff who are happy to chat about what they do and offer recommendations for games. Experiencia negativa: We made 2 trips from 4 hours away to go to this store, the first time they were making a video during their opening weeks and we had to leave and the second time they said their servers were down and we couldn’t make our purchase, they wouldn’t even let us pay cash!!!! customer service is 2/10

Experiencia negativa: This store seems to always have some issue everytime we visit there. I love the concept of this store but it seems like everytime my family and I come they have some sort of technical issue at hand. One time they had “closed” the store to film a commercial but they had forgot to lock the doors and my daughter was excited to when she seen the inside but they approached us and told us we had to leave bc they were filming. They kicked us out and locked the door afterwards but I wanted to give another chance. So we came back another time and we they failed to inform us until after we were done shopping that their “servers were down and they couldn’t process transactions” and they didn’t know when it’d be back up. When asked if they could take cash they told us they couldn’t calculate state and county taxes. After these 2 awful experiences I don’t think me or my family will return and i implore everyone reading this to save yourselves the headache and make online purchases elsewhere because it seems like this business is ready to be open for customers.

Experiencia fantástica: Brought here by a friend who lives locally. This place has a lot of physical copies of indie games that they support, as well as ports to other systems. They also have a selection of used games from a variety of systems. It's quite a fantastic find! I highly recommend anyone who loves Videogames to make a trip here.

They also offer great value for any games you want to trade-in. Between the New/Used Video Games, Vinyl, Books, and Merch there’s something for everyone in the store!

Experiencia negativa: I wish I had a positive experience to share from here but I do not. I purchased a game from their used section that was in sealed plastic. When I got around to opening the item it was heavily scratched and did not play. The store manager advised me the only work around he has is for me to drive 3 hours there and three hours back to return it. It’s not plausible to spend 40 dollars in gas to return a 20 dollar game. If you decide to gamble with the used section their manager stated he tries to make sure they check all the discs. Not test but check. So if it’s a sealed brand new Limited run game it should be safe. If it is used open it before you leave the store.

Experiencia fantástica: A local gem for video game junkies. Physical media is becoming rarer each year, but Limited Run brings digital only games directly to your hands. Not to mention their great used section full of games of your past at a fair price. The store is decorated amazingly and really gives you that retro synth feel. This is the closest retro video game store, and it's also one of the best.

They carry games you wont find at any other local game store, like PC engine CD games, Famicom disk system games, 3DO, etc. Would love to see them bump it up to also selling these used systems as well, but the store is already so full of goodies that I can't imagine where they would put them if they did . And of course, check out the limited run releases; that's a must!

Experiencia positiva: Pretty cool store for retro games. The staff was friendly and they had a great selection. The pricing for the games I was looking at were about what they're listed as on price charting, there were even some games I saw for the Xbox One console that were only like 2-5 years old and under $2. There are two suggestions I would make for improving: 1) I was told that games for old consoles such as the N64 are not tested and are sold as is. I feel like this is something that is necessary to avoid selling broken games to customers. 2) The return policy is only 7 days. They will accept returns if the game is broken, however, if you're buying someone a game as a gift and plan on giving it to them more than a week out, it could be risky as games for some of the older consoles are not tested and could be broken. It would be nice to see this store either test their older consoles games too before putting them on the shelf, or extend their return policy for games that are not tested. I would recommend checking this place out and I will come back here for future purchases. If you're buying a gift for someone I would suggest asking the staff if the game has been tested especially if you're gifting it more than a week out and you don't have the means to test it yourself.

If you’ve ever wanted to find a physical edition of your favorite eshop game, this is the place to start. You’ll also find a few reprints of old school game game cartridges and a small selection of retro games in the back. Looking forward to checking it out again!

Experiencia positiva: The store is in a good location and has a wide variety of new and preowned games. The staff members are nice and interactive. The only thing I will say is before you go, please be sure to ask about the bag policy. You may or may not be asked to leave your bag on the counter by the door. I understand asking customers to leave bags at the front but please make sure any bags left with staff are properly stored and safe.

The staff was very friendly, personable and knowledgeable. They have loads of awesome products both their own merchandise as well as a decent amount of secondhand retro stuff. The atmosphere is very retro and hits you with all the right nostalgia feels. I look forward to seeing them grow and flourish.
