Experiencia negativa: I got a pre order Pokemon Booster sent here from a closing store. My item never arrived to this store. I know they stole my item (backed door) it. They offered me a few items less in value for messing up. So I waited 2 months for nothing. So please have caution when getting items from these stores.

Experiencia negativa: I guess GameStop is still at it screwing over their customers stopped in to trade in a phone and price matched it online first at $122 off GameStop’s website go into the store and it’s not even half the value of what it says, it’d be online I ask the lady Very nicely what was wrong with the phone that it wasn’t even worth half the trade-in value and she responded with nothing is wrong with the phone. That’s just what I can offer for it GameStop you have lost a customer in the past and I thought I’d give you guys another chance Clearly I don’t need GameStop The lady working offered me 60 dollars smh

Experiencia fantástica: This is my neighborhood GameStop and over the last 10 years service here for me and my family has always been top notch. Today, the day after Christmas, I went in to make a return/exchange and unfortunately, I did not have the receipt nor the order confirmation email nor did I make the online purchase through a GameStop account. I truly walked in there with the Perfect Storm of a terrible return situations--and I knew it and I felt terrible about it! Zack was patient, calm, kind, and courteous as he worked through the many flaming hoops that needed to be jumped through in the store computer system to allow the return/exchange to happen. Many thanks to Zack, the other staff person working in the store, and to the many managers that Zack contacted to make sure I left with the game my kid wanted for Christmas.
Experiencia negativa: If I could've given less then 1 star I would've. If you go into this store and see a guy with a hat and no name tag to know who he is (Ryan employee ID 697847) first he'll try to sell you a warranty that he'll tell you is good for returns but when you try to return it he'll come up with excuses for why he can't then if that doesn't work he'll yhreaten you with the cops. If you ask if you can speak to a manager then he'll say there is none hands down the worse customer service ever and still am stuck with a game that doesn't work.

Experiencia negativa: Called for a hour and not one pickup. Realistically that's about a full hour so a total number of calls for that hour is 85 calls(30second call holding. 15second waiting on automation to let me get past auto teller and ring the store line. Went in store, find the large white blue shirt woman today on Feb 24th 2023 was not picking up the calls with only myself and 2 other customers in line. I waited additional 20+ min, while calling still, (and no pickup). I believe others were also calling. With no customers being helped, the phone line still wasn't being picked up. Called while waiting, called while out of line. What happened to customer service? Everytime in the last year or 12mo I've called, my experience is often exactly as described. What happened? Isn't the manager named Drew? What happened?

Experiencia negativa: I tried trading in a iphone 12 pro 128gb unlocked at the atore, because online its showing 460 visa card value for a excellent condition. When they test it, it returns everything good, phone doesnt have a single scratch, however they offer 360$. When i tell them the website says to bring it in the store for 460, they say the website is lying, no one updates it, and its inaccurate....... Really bad experience. No wonder they almost bankrupted, theyll get back to it
Experiencia negativa: GAME STOP is a great place to get games from I've been coming here for 20 years until I asked for my purchase information when I came to trade a GAME I found out the HARDEST way when EXCHANGING Game's Game Stop is a RIP-OFF especially when you've paid $40 for a game and they'll only give You a FRACTION($12) of what you paid for it you have all the paperwork and the disc isn't damaged This isn't GOOD BUSINESS they receive FAIR MARKET PRICE when YOU purchase while GAME STOP only gives YOU Pennies in Exchange and 1/3 of what YOU PAID when You sell GAME STOP the game back This is seemingly like a clandestine form of LOANSHARKING with a bit of BAMBOOZLING THE CUSTOMER'S Who ARE actually the PROFIT as well as the BOTTOMLINE $$$ and GAME STOP is Taking ADVANTAGE of the CONSUMERS I paid in excess of $50 per GAME STOP video game I returned $400 Worth of games purchased from the SAME GAME STOP and upon returning these $400 Worth of Games GAME STOP offered me $63.58 RIP-OFF right in my face GAME STOP is trying to STICK ME UP and doing it without a GUN to my head... CAPITALISM in full EFFECT regardless HOW MANY CONSUMER'S are effected I've taught my Children they're the FUTURE CONSUMER'S so I've SEALED these GAMES along with FACT'S are TRUTH and GAME STOP Receipts in a TIME CAPSULE in a bank deposit Box When my Children and Grandchildren receive this information they will be well informed as well as more than capable to understand the New world ECONOMIC SYSTEMS This is a TRAVESTY and appalling how this industry is BLATANTLY taking advantage of CHILDREN through the ADULTS bcause WE the ADULT'S actually PAY THE PRICE twice, We Pay upon PURCHASE and get TAXED then WE PAY when WE trade bcause GAME STOP gives the ADULT the LEAST I'm starting a EVEN TRADE program that ensures spending $60 on purchase upon trade in the consumer will receive $35 pending all materials are there and disc is without any damage Older Games are under the same guidelines with exception knowing older Games will be damaged and trade cost will be adjusted as damage is evaluated Finally, GAME STOP it's SAD how long as I've purchased from GAME STOP I FEEL you're the best place to get games and accessories for decades but I'm disheartened as a SUPPORTER of GAME STOP it hurts bcause I support with my meanwhile I sincerely purchase and have spent ASTRONOMICAL amounts of My only to be treated as if I don't have 10 Children who each has a Video Game with multiple game's and accessories not including My PS4-&-PS5 purchased from GAME STOP Whilst I attempted to trade games I found out I'VE NEVER been stored in the system, but my was taken but my information was not SAVED, so on the flip side each time I purchased from GAMESTOP my wife also purchased What's puzzling is I'll use MY information and it's as if I never existed or purchased anything from GAME STOP but no matter what GAME STOP I go to when I use my wife's GAME STOP information every purchase and date are in GAME STOP system So I'm more than not understanding how am I NOT in the GAME STOP system and why is there NO information of my (20) twenty year GAME STOP account and my many purchases over those year's It bugs me simply bcause checking my wife's Game Stop receipts 15 year's she's purchased $1K and as I look upon EVERYTHING I purchased in the last 4 years I've spent $3.7K and there's NO record in GAME STOP That to me is LOAN SHARKING and ROBBING me without a GUN This is actually NO different from being DRUG ADDICTED and GAME STOP is the DEALER they know WE have to get that Video Fix and they make us pay then WE get Taxed and Taxed again upon TRADE while being offered the very LEAST BUT upon resale the PRICE they gave you for it TRIPLED upon GAME STOP reselling it, meaning if You suddenly wanted the Game you just received $9 for You'll HAVE to pay GAME STOP $30 that's NOT COOL I do understand FREE ENTERPRISE but I DON'T understand why my Purchase information is not in the GAME STOP SYSTEM

Experiencia fantástica: Can't say enough good about this store. I had to exchange my sons switch after he broke his (thank goodness for warranties) and forgot his SD card and a game chip in it. The woman who works there (I wish I remembered her name) checked when I called and saved it for us until we got home from vacation. She was amazingly sweet and my kid greatly appreciated her setting that aside for us until we got home. Thank you!

Experiencia negativa: Love GameStop... unfortunately the staff at the brentwood location are very rude. There was one employee there that was very nice and took time with customers. However that doesn't appear to be the norm. There is a female staff member there (while informative) is beyond rude. I get your probably tired of getting asked about playstation 5 and xbox launch, but that's your job!!

Experiencia fantástica: I have yet to find a GameStop I didn't like, they are all very helpful and kind people. They helped us find everything we needed and showed us everything on clearance as well. I don't go to this one often, but it was a great experience and found everything that I needed easily and in good time as well.

Experiencia negativa: DO NOT PREORDER HOPING FOR ANY MIDNIGHT RELEASES!!!! I preorder sword and shield months ago go in and the guy now says we don’t do mid night releases. The guy at the time should’ve known that but instead told me. Maybe hire more people and this wouldn’t be a problem

Experiencia negativa: This is one of the Gamestops that give the good ones a bad rap. Started off well enough and thought I was having a genuine conversation with the person that was working there. 10 minutes later it ended up just being a drawn-out setup to try to get me to preorder stuff. The selection of collectibles was awesome and I was thinking about getting one of the Fallout replicas, but this place just left a bad taste in my mouth.

If they would have gone through their diagnostics and have me a summary at the end I wouldn’t have had a problem. Poor attitude, will not be back. Would rather just buy off PS Store. Sad because this was my main stop for games before.

Experiencia negativa: Their computer went down while running my card. She ran it on the other one and assured me I wouldn't be double charged. When I called the store they insisted I wasn't double charged and if I had as issue to call corporate. I did. I never encountered an estimated hold time of less than 30 minutes. I will wait on hold, but not for 30 minutes for their mistake. I disputed with my CC company and it was taken care of promptly. Poor customer service from bottom to top.

Around the holidays I've noticed the have even more sales associates in the store to help out customers. Customer service here is just impeccable. Love this place

I waited in line and when I got to the register, they had no clue what I was talking about or where the product was. They were unorganized and not helpful.

Experiencia negativa: Classic used game rip off outpost. I don't understand how this place has managed to stay in business with the advent of buying video games online, ebay, amazon, ect... True story by brand new game here for $60 was disappointed with it brought it back 60 days later. they offered me $5 dollars trade in. they sell that title used for $58 new for $60 but would only give me 5 bucks trade in. What's that called ladies and gentlemen? drum roll ... a rip off. If you're like me and you're sick of GameStop ripping us off let's boycott them I'll never buy from here again.
