Experiencia fantástica: I just gotta say I'm genuinely impressed with your employe shyane( sry if I misspelled her name) I really thought she was an AGM at minimum with the way she was running the front ...not only was she taking care of customer after customer all the while assisting me with me trade in, but she was doing it while having good genuine conversation with her customers and her knowledge was pretty impressive too ...it was only after asking her of she was the GM or AGM that I realized she wasn't....im telling ya though, I've worked retail management for almost 25 years now and you guys got yourself a winner and I would seriously think about a promotion before someone steals her away from ya!!

Experiencia negativa: If I could get the store, no stars I would GameStop is a damn scam if you have just a console don’t take it in there because they’re gonna charge you for the cords and the controllers and everything else to make it to where your consoles worth absolutely nothing its honestly ridiculous that u invest into something and they only want to give you a $20 return on a damn full blown console that I can sell privately for at least $100

Experiencia fantástica: Hands down best service. I called multiple gamestops this is the only one that answered the phone for starters. After multiple attempts. Process was decent. Traded in a switch oled to switch 2. Cheyenne is such a wonderful personality despite basically calling me old. She made me feel really good about spending more money than I really wanted too.

Experiencia negativa: The employees here are great, but it’s a shame the route the store is going in. Hard to even say the store when it’s really GameStop the company as a whole. This use to be a great location to come pick up new Pokemon cards for retail price, but at this point you can get the same product for cheaper from scalpers. Ironic because the whole price hike they have done was originally to “stop” scalpers. Shame to say the only reason you should come here is to drop off cards to submit to PSA. They handle with great care. That’s definitely the only reason though.

Experiencia negativa: So just a little story I go into GameStop today to try to warranty out my son's controller I just bought $100 controller from them 2 months ago the green one I take it in because the controller itself popped loose so the top covers coming loose from the bottom cover now I am also a pro member there the guy today told me that he will not honor my warranty because that is considered snapped in half now all I did was fall off the bed onto tile floor and then it popped loose it still works it's just coming apart but they will not replace.

Experiencia negativa: It’s 2025 - buying gaming products has evolved - and GameStop refused to evolve with it. This GameStop sold me a faulty Xbox headset. Within 15 min of buying it, I went back to return it to get my money back and go to a reputable source for a headset like Target. This GameStop instead told me I can’t get a refund and can only get in store credit. They didn’t even have the headset I bought in stock (other than the faulty one) so they made me drive all the way across Cape Coral to their location off Del Prado for one that works. GameStop has failed to realize that it isn’t 2007 anymore - you aren’t the only affordable gaming option. It also doesn’t help that the employees had a condescending tone when speaking to me - as if it’s common knowledge that GameStop won’t give you your money back, even after selling you a faulty product. GameStop is the ‘Around the Clock fitness’ for gaming. Old, out of date, out of style, and running out of business. Shop at Target - Walmart - Amazon before you consider shopping GameStop. GameStop is outdated - give it 10 years and GameStop won’t even exist.

Experiencia fantástica: Love this store! Abby especially is just fantastic. I've gotten back into trading cards recently and have had luck shopping for them at this Game Stop because they handle things right and hand out tickets to reserve spots in line and not over-guarantee any items. I really appreciate being able to go in knowing what I'm going to get and feeling valued and cared about. She was also very knowledgeable with my questions about upcoming releases and where I might find some of the merchandise I was hoping to get. Thanks so much! Will definitely be back

I've been waiting for this game for almost a decade and now I can't pick it up because I happen to work and couldn't make it to the store before 6pm even though they don't close until 7pm. Probably a corporate decision, but I'll preorder from walmart or somewhere else from now on.

Experiencia negativa: I wish I could leave less than one star. Place is trash and liars and is 100% why game stop will be out of business in less than 5 years. They called me on Monday to confirm that on Thursday at 9pm for the madden release. Showed up and Place is locked up nobody there no note no nothing. My son and I have had this tradition of picking up madden for 4 years. Thanks for ruining that for us. How about a phone call so we don't waste our whole evening. Experiencia fantástica: Visited this location the other day to obtain a PS5 with God of War, and just as I was about to swipe my debit card for over $600, Dylan and Alberto informed me of the pro member benefits + trade-in specials. I immediately renewed my pro membership, and then ran home to grab a bunch of gaming related stuff that I had that was still essentially brand new, just not being used. After returning to the store shortly after that, all was said and done and I got what I went for, and ended up leaving the store with them owing me money! Thank you guys for your exceptional customer service, it definitely didn't go unnoticed that day!

Experiencia negativa: Place sucks. They'll make mistakes on your orders and make false promises without doing anything to fix the situation. Managers wont help either. Im not allowed to say the R word so im just gonna say these ppl are challenged mentally. They all look like they dropped out of community college which is what I like to call the "13th grade." Game stop is the chum bucket of gamestores. Better off going to target or walmart to buy games.

Experiencia negativa: I spend all my gaming and collectable income at Gamestop. I pre ordered Pokemon Violet a few weeks ago. I cancelled my first preorder on 11/08/2022 because I wanted to order the double pack Pokemon Scarlet and Violet. I was at a midnight sale and asked if I could come back in the next day and pre order the double pack. I was told yes. The next day 11/9 I came in to the store and pre ordered the double pack, I was told that there was no pre order collectables for the regular copies and only with the double pack. So I preordered the double pack they also told me I would receive PINS for the game and DLC codes. Today I was contacted by the same guy who made all the promises (while his manager was standing right beside him the night before). He told me I could no longer have my pre order and he didnt know he couldnt do it and made a mistake. He offered me nothing to make it right and told me sorry im out of luck. Problem #1 your system allowed him to input a preorder he supposedly should not have been able to do. Problem #2 You train your managers to never give anything for THEIR mistakes. Problem #3 Just because your selling entertainment and games your people operate like their hands are tied when they make mistakes that affect their customers. Problem #4 The manager told me I should be good to do my preorder all the way in to next week. The games release date is 11/18/22. I want the physical copy of the Pokemon Scarlet and Violet game on release day as I was promised and I have proof that it was promised to me with the receipt I received. Its sad to me that this company can take my money for years and when they mess up royally there is no compensation. If my problem is not address I will discontinue my business with GameStop and do business with a company that stands by their word and who holds themselves accountable for their mistakes.

Experiencia positiva: The owner in there looks like a nice person but I give it a 4 star store instead of 5 because 1. Most of the amiibos in there are Zelda: age of calamity type amiibos which most people didn’t care much tbh in my opinion and 2. There’s just a few wireless pro controllers.

I will now make sure that this is my go to store, even though it’s an extra 20 minutes out of the way for me, by far it’s the best shopping experience I’ve had in any GameStop location. Your employee Mark was extremely helpful. Quick to answer any questions and help guide us through the store. Just stopped in to look around and kill time, yet ended up spending $100 on a game and Funko pops. Only issue I have had lately with any GameStop is the reduction in the selection of Funko pops. They used to always have a huge inventory and lots of variety, but all the stores locally have drastically reduced the inventory. I’m sure on line has a larger selection, but I like physically searching through all of them, being able to pick which ones I really liked. But back to my rating, just wanted to say Mark is an awesome employee, and definitely makes your shop better than all the rest in the Lee County area

Experiencia negativa: I went to get the new game kingdom hearts something for my boyfriend when he called in earlier today and asked if I could come in and pick it up for him since he'd be at work even though it was a different store than the one he pre-ordered it from the manager Austin said that it was possible and that everything would be fine. So I go in freezing in a line waiting then I get to the register and Amy or whatever her name was red head older woman says I can't buy the game for my boyfriend because he didn't come in previously (when he couldn't have thats why he called instead) in person to say it was okay for someone else to get it. I was on the phone with my boyfriend this whole time and had his game stop card and credit card..Amy is not good at customer service because as she saw I had the phone number of the store that my boyfriend gave to me just in case and his cards to get the game while on the phone with him!!! I don't know if she didn't like me or what the issue was but if the manager Austin says it's gonna be okay and there won't be any issues then Amy makes it a big issue there's something wrong here. I am not happy and will never go to this place ever again don't even wanna do busisness with any of their stores. This game stop needs work with their customer service and maybe some cultural training too.

Experiencia positiva: Their prices are hit and miss. But I hate more then anything they open and break the seal of every software they sell you. Technically its used product selling it with open or broken seal. Doesn't matter if was previously sold or not. I buy there at absolutely last resort. They should put covers out on shelfs and give you a fully sealed product when you ask for it. Also they are true con artists with what they pay people for their trades. Only reason i give 3 stars and not 1 is because the staff is always friendly and excited about games. They are not afraid to chat and treat you right.
