Experiencia negativa: I came in for the GameStop “Trade Anything” event after seeing it advertised. I brought a seashell from Fort Myers Beach, excited to participate. The employee asked me to make a GameStop account, so I provided my phone number, email, and name. She then asked for my ID, and I provided my valid driver’s license. I am 18, a legal adult, so there should not have been an issue. She tried entering or scanning my ID and said it was not working. When I asked what my options were, she offered no help. She did not call a manager or try any other solution. Instead she just said there was nothing she could do because of pawn shop laws. I drove 20 minutes for this and was treated like I did not matter. It felt like I was dismissed just because I look young. Very disappointing and unprofessional experience. I left feeling frustrated and like the promotion was misleading since no effort was made to assist me.

Experiencia negativa: People are nice. They have a lot of products. But their prices are high and their return policy is very bad and they don't give nearly what you paid for, they give you it in store credit and less a lot less then what you paid. That keeps people away from dealing with them .

Experiencia negativa: Was not happy that product was on the sales floor to buy with no limit sign but the cashier girl at the register took one of the product packs and said there was a limit to what I was buying so I said my friend with me will buy one also and then she said no she was saving it for someone and put it behind the counter very unprofessional if it's on the sales floor without a sign I should have been able to. Will not be returning to spend my good money will go else where.

Experiencia negativa: So quite the odd transaction ...I recently bought a controller from them which went bad offally quick (something called stick drift) so I went to the Surfside location and got a used one with my warrenty I purchased when I bought it. That was maybe a month ago (although the manager at the del prado store said it was longer ‍♂️..) wellep that controller came down with the something and I happened to be over by the Del Prado gamestop so figured I'd just stop in there and get it replaced...as soon as I went to the counter I got a really weird look from the store manager who then repeatedly asked me if I was just at the surfside store ..and I mean like 5 times back to back..I told him no,but I did purchase the controller there a month ago ..so he asked me a few more times like he was gonna catch me in a lie ..mind you I'm 40 years old I'm not a child nor a lier! At that time while he was looking up my account I went to look at the used ps5 games which the selection of the ps5 games in general was a joke ...after about 5-10min I go back to the counter ...the entire time with the god offal weird feeling like I'm being accused of being a criminal,while at the sametime I'm trying to be nice to this store manager who's treating me this way trying get him to believe I'm not who he thinks I am...while he's finally checking me out he tells me in NOT a kind way that he basically didn't believe me called the Surfside store to give them my description and told me he was gonna kick me out of the store if they said I looked anything like said person who did "whatever" at the Surfside store...I still trued to act kindly and joking around but the way I felt had stuck with me..I'm not a bad person I'm not a criminal and to be treated like that and to be treated like a child by someone clearly trying to show off for the young girl he was doing what ever with is jusy sickening to me ...hopefully this will reach upper management...most likely I'll be calling them today myself ..also I made the comment about how he was clearly trying to hit on his young employee because of what happened afterword ...once again trying to be friendly and keep the ice broken after all that I make some small talk a out the stick drift problem ..because it's happening alot ...his exact words in a very condescending way as he looks over to his GF was quit playing games...the store manager of a Gamestop is going to tell a customer to stop playing the very thing that keeps that bussiness floating above water...that needs to be addressed as well because with that one sentence I'll never step foot in a gamestop again

Experiencia negativa: Don’t go to this GameStop. Very disappointed in the service I received. All the people who work there are new. They were working without a manager present. I ordered a Spider-Man PS5 bundle online for pick up and got the correct PS5 but no game. It was not the bundle. I asked the employee who was new if it was the correct one and he said yes. Then found out after we opened it, it was not. I called and he said another new employee got the order ready and just gave us a regular PS5. Had to wait until Monday to call and talk to a manager who said the only way to get the game was to package it back up and bring in for a refund and buy back. Uhm I’m sorry if your a manager I’m sure you could give me a credit of some sort instead of bringing in an entire system. We will not be returning to this GameStop store again and I don’t recommend anyone else go to this one either. If I could I’d give it zero stars.

The phone was ringing, I was asking him questions and, asking him to retrieve products and, other customers were asking him questions and, not once was he flustered or rude. He was prompt, informative and, pleasant. Now a days customer service is barely mediocre. It was nice to see what i seen from Darian.

Experiencia negativa: This store was supposed to open at 10am. The employee that works here arrived at 955am and now it's almost 11am. He is sitting inside looking at a group of us standing outside waiting patiently for the new release. I don't recommend this store, the employees obviously hate their job and think it's funny to make everyone stand outside for over an hour. All he had to do was inform us of anything that might possibly be happening. This is absolutely ridiculous!!! Go to Game Craze it's family ran and opens when they say it does!

Experiencia negativa: BEWARE!!! Pre-Orders!!! I am very disappointed in the staff, we have been here several times have purchased games and the one time we decide to pre-order a game which we paid for most of it from here I was told they would call and send an email when it arrived and they did not! I kept calling and the first time they picked up they said full shipment didn’t come in and to call back in couple days. I have called for over a week and no one answers and I am not able to leave a message. Went in and they still did not have my game we pre order because they sold them!!! Oh and they said, “only people staff like they will call to let them know game has arrived” What!?? WOW!! So knowing they had pre-orders to fill they decide to sale the game to someone that just walked in!! They couldn’t tell me when they would get another shipment, so we had to settle for the regular version of the game vs the Deluxe which we pre-ordered!!! I could have just ordered the game direct online but I wanted to help our local business!!! Worst experience!!!

Experiencia negativa: Was in the process of buying new games and a new system and the lady cashing me out was quite rude condescending towards me.. trying to force me to buy protection on the games after declining she gives me a dirty look and says ..why? I said I don’t want protection then she tries to get me to have protection on the system I also decline in that again she gives another dirty look and tries to force me to get it and I say no…. Then she tries to get me to be a pro member I also declined that and she gets even more angry and rude and starts being condescending…. If I choose to not have protection or be a member that is my choice !! You have no business questioning customers on why they don’t want protection…. I nearly almost walked away from the purchase because the amount of pressure she tried to put on me and guilt me into buying protection I didn’t want.. definitely sounds like she’s getting commission if she sells protection to customers.. simply how nasty and rude she became after declining it…

Experiencia fantástica: This is my favorite GameStop in SWFL. They have Gunpla, cool skirts and of course games. I've had good and bad employees assist me but they all try their best. GameStop ask a lot from their emote smoke employees to point where they come off a little annoying and almost robotic at times. "Would you like insurance, to place a pre-order, extend your membership, trade in your mobile, or trade in any games?". That's actually how they sound.

We had been looking for a certain model In No ONE n Florida had it, except 90.00 miles North. Which for my son I would have did it, theN the worker showed us the gold PS 4 slim. Very rare. SOLD. My son's face lite up and couldn't belive they had it. I was so happy that he was happy, it's his 16th has to be amazing. We left beyond amazed and pleased, THANK you for makeing my baby's wish come true!!!!!!! AMAZING

Experiencia negativa: ERIN IS THE WORSE STORE LEADER IVE MET. HER CUSTOMER SERVICE SKILLS ARE HORRIBLE SHE DOESNT HELP OR UNDERSTAND. ALSO, i was in there to sell my wii system w/ two controllers w/ nunchuks in great condition. While taking off silicons case from nunchuks ERIN HAD BROKE IT AND THEN ARGUED WITH ME SAYING THAT SHE DIDNT WHEN I WATCHED HER. Experiencia positiva: I am in my late 50's, my husband in his mid 60's. We are technology lacking in knowledge. A lovely young woman named Erin was very helpful explaining the various streaming capabilities of the newer XBox and PlayStation. We want to ditch our Prism TV which is going up to $248 and change next month. We don't watch that much tv or channels as that cost justifies. I felt the Play Station would be a good choice for us given Erin's description, my husband was paying for the box and he chose XBoxOne. I am so out of the tech loop I am not sure that I spelled the systems correctly. That being said, Erin was a great help regardless. My husband asked me to add that there was no user manual. We are older and find reading instructions is very helpful.
