Experiencia negativa: Store employees need to keep products that are not ready to be released off the floor or behind the counter. Already purchasing products and then was told I could not purchase because they have not been released yet. Big disappointment.
Experiencia negativa: Terrible , I’m waiting to check out and the employee is having a dumb conversation with the customer who’s already checked out about which Mexican restaurants are the best to go to . This lasted minutes I felt like an idiot listening to this waiting with my hands full of stuff I’m trying to buy. Put it all back and walked out . 1pm on 2/28. It’s incredible the lack of awareness. At least $200 worth of stuff. Menudo must be served hot . That’s what we figured out here.

Experiencia negativa: The guy that’s supposed to open the store literally sat in his car for 20 minutes past the opening time. Then got out and proceeded to take an additional hour to open the store. He watched me and 3 other customers go to the door and check the hours. Without offering any reason as to why he wouldn’t open it on time. Very unprofessional and definitely lost my business. Some people work nights and can’t afford waiting an hour for someone to open a store for us to do our shopping. Honestly I hope they get rid of this incompetence filled excuse for an employee.

Also kept putting the blame on the “ New “ associates to save his own ass. GameStop in the mall was very helpful and even helped me receive points from my $200 purchase that JUSTIN SAID HE ADDED TO MY ACCOUNT ALREADY. 0/10 would not recommend ! The Mall GameStop is better.

So I went and looked for myself and they did not have it. So I asked him one more time and he said. What was the Game again. He obviously did not look it up and said no.

Experiencia negativa: Beware I purchased a New Nintendo Switch OLED that was faulty. Rikko the manager refused to refund my money or exchange the device. The assist Justin also was gaslighting me as well. Do not shop at this establishment.

Experiencia positiva: I give the store itself a 4 star rating and also the gentleman that was working the morning shift today 6/7/23. Me and my husband went in lastnight 6/6/23 around 7:30-8pm. We had already looked online to make sure they had the game Watch Dogs 2 in stock , which the website said there was 3 in the store. We arrived at the store and upon opening the door the employee was sitting down having a conversation on his cell phone. Didn't bother to ask if we needed assistance , welcome us to the store or anything. He seemed like he had an attitude that we walked in. We looked around and found the case to the game but was told by the rude and lazy employee that the website inventory was for ALL stores in Midland and not just theirs. We were also told that the game was not in stock and we would have to order it. Anyone that knows anything about game stop knows that none of the games are kept in the cases , you need to go to the drawer to retrieve them. Not feeling like arguing we went home and proceeded to order the game and said we would go back in the morning to pick it up as scheduled. We returned in the morning with our order number and the guy that was working looked it up and went right to the drawer to grab it. I asked him if it was possible the game was there lastnight and he responded saying " yes , we have a few of them." We let him know what had occured the night before and the look on his face let me know right away that the guy working lastnight must be one they get complaints about often. He apologized for the experience and quickly got us checked out. THANK YOU TO THE MAN THAT HELPED US ! KEEP DOING WHAT YOU'RE DOING ! HE IS DEFINITELY AN ASSET TO THE STORE

Just flat out being lazy. Don’t work if you are just going to intentionally make a bad rep for the company you’re working for.

Experiencia positiva: Been some time since I've been in a brick and mortar gamestop. I used to go all the time like 10 years ago and load up and games, because they were a good deal. Today I am happy to say that they have not lost their core value. Yeah their prices went up a little due to inflation and they sell a bunch of nick nacks, but it still brings that feeling back of getting a good deal on a used game.

That policy doesn’t really make any sense. Will not be shopping here again.

Store looked very clean, organized, and easy to find what we needed. I recommend this store to everyone. You want answers on gaming, just ask them and the employees are very knowledgable especially the Manager who is very kind, and does everything to make your visit the best.

Experiencia fantástica: Absolutely love GameStop. They know me by name, as well as by my preferred gaming system, so they always let me know about new releases or upcoming games. They also know that we're a house divided (by gaming systems), so they keep us updated on our systems, updates, DC, and everything else we need. They even allow us to ship directly to our house, which is handy when you live 2+ hours away! In the past, they have even allowed us to call in an order and let family members pick up for us, which is a huge help when we're not expecting to be in town for a while. We always make a point to stop in when we're in town, even just to say hi and get updates.

Experiencia negativa: It’s really difficult to shop at this location, mainly because of some of the employees. There’s always an issue, wether it’s having to deal with their rude attitude or they’re always “holding” something for another customer. Management should really step up the way they train on customer service. Customer shouldn’t have to feel bad, because of how the employees act.
Experiencia positiva: I like the place, nice environment to buy games but they would not let me purchase an m rated game, borderlands 3, even though I've played the others in the series and I'm almost 17. Disappointed but it's not really a big problem, would still continue shopping there.

I looked online and Gamestop said they had them available for pickup. Put one on hold and drove over. Sure enough, they had one, plus all the games we had picked out and returned at Best Buy (Worst Buy). Super happy with our purchase and the customer service we received!!! THANKS GAMESTOP!!!

But there is a few ones that surprise me every time, no manners they can’t even look at you when you purchase an item, ask if you need anything else. And every time I ask for online game services like Xbox live they always ignore it, give me my receipt can’t even say oh thanks for shopping here.
