Experiencia negativa: TLDR Broken equipment. Pedantic employee. Mostly useless services. Could not trade in a system because the equipment was not working. Employee was having a hard time finding an item in "the system". I offered help, found what it is colloquially know as and shared it. Employee challenges asking if thats from the "website tho". So I pull up the item on the GS website. It had the same name we just both found colloquially. He then comments that sometimes things are diffirent in "the system" than "the website". What was the point of it all if not to muddy water and minimize the guest.
Experiencia negativa: Stopped in yesterday to be ignored by the staff "they/them" was very rude rushed me out of the store didn't even bother to ask if I have rewards so she could go back to playing they/their game. NO this isn't about their gender confusion it's about how rude and disrespectful they them it turned when I asked about a collector pack that I'm guessing they wanted after their shift. That or just a very rude person.. I was honestly disgusted by customer service, go to upper peach gamestop that guy knows his stuff n he's polite doesn't get mad at you for making him do work at his job he's paid to be at....

Experiencia negativa: After spending over $700 on a PS5 w/ASTRO BOT package, an additional controller, games and an extended warranty at the end of March, we noticed the unit gets extremely hot. Despite purchasing an aftermarket fan base & an additional fan being pointed at it, it remains hot to touch. Naturally, we went back to the same associate who sold it to us, MADISON, to ask if this is normal. Oddly when she sold it, she seemed very knowledgeable but now she's completely lost, literally telling us to "Google it" ! She responded that she doesn't own/play one. Her assistant (who paused his own sale to chime in) saying that Game Stop does not pay them enough to buy the systems they sell. His customer even got involved, answering our questions better than paid staff could. After saying we could return it, (a clear loss to the Co.) we stopped at 2 other local game stores who explained that heat is common; both then went out of their way to address our issue, even showing us the best remedies, without ever suggesting we spend a dollar at their establishments. I would NEVER RECOMMEND OR PURCHASE ANYTHING FROM GAME STOP AS THEIR STAFF EXTREMELY LAZY AND INCOMPETENT! However, is gladly recommend their local competitors!

Experiencia negativa: Why does this store suck so bad?? Their prices are ridiculous, not a lot of choices in games, lots of over priced merch, they give you pennies when you sell games just to turn around and slap a $35 price tag on it.. bleh... no thanks...
Experiencia negativa: There are a few nice people who work here who are extremely helpful (Mady and Randy), but their District Manager has been nothing but nasty and rude when she is there working. The other employees just seem like they weren't trained at all and can't answer questions.
Experiencia negativa: They put the wrong game in my cartridge I bought Minecraft Xbox one edition and they put regular Minecraft in there i didn’t spend $21 for a game I already have I just want to play the tutorial world and they can let me do that I’m gonna call different game stops and ask for a replace ment or a refund!
Experiencia negativa: I bought a brand new controller for the xbox. Bought the warranty too. When the control started getting stick drift, I took it back. They tested it and said it definitely had it, but instead of giving me a new controller they gave me a used/refurbished one, not a brand new one. 2 days after I started to use it, BAM! STICK DRIFT again. So I'll take it back again and see if this time I get one with out the drift. Totally unsatisfied. Horrible service!

Experiencia negativa: They NEVER answer the phone. The one member of staff told me he isn’t paid enough or treated well enough to want to pick up the phone. He was complaining about management about him not being able wear his hat. Was very poor attitude and the store looked like it was trashed and going out of business with boxes everywhere but nothing on the shelves. I guess I’ll stick to ordering online or going to Best Buy or the exchange.
Experiencia positiva: I spent $300 in this store and the merchandise was faulty and no one would assist in answering my questions. I will never spend another dollar in any Game Stop ever again due to the rudeness and non existent customer service. Atleast the Exchange and Best Buy try to help. PLEASE DO NOT SPEND YOUR MONEY HERE!!!!!!!
Experiencia negativa: Have called 10-12 times over the course of two weeks to check on stock of certain items and only got them to answer one time. They almost never answer the phone at this location. Pretty frustrating. Just called six times today in the past 3 hours. Zero calls answered.

If you buy a new game you will not get the full amount of money back once you open it they will only give you store credit And offer to buy it from you For Trade credit But he helped me out so I'm giving him a 5 star today is 10/19/2022 I forgot the employee's name but I will say thank you

Bought an Xbox series x through GameStop website and I called the Mill Creek Mall store and they say we can't help you, they say you have to call GameStop corporate or Microsoft themselves to get a replacement. My receipt is though GAMESTOP! I should go to any GameStop and get a replacement. But the mall GameStop in Erie Pennsylvania is a joke! Do yourself a favor and go to 1909 Rotunda Dr, Erie, PA 16509 GameStop, they helped me out.

Experiencia negativa: Called ahead in the week to have products reserved for a sale and was given the wrong times so when i drove an hour and a half to buy multiple products during said sale I was informed that the sale ended earlier this week and thus made my trip pointless. So I won't be shopping at this location anymore.
Experiencia fantástica: This was my first time at this GameStop because I'm not from this area and was visiting my Fiancé's family. But it was a great experience. I ended up getting more than I was looking for, for a little bit more (Nintendo Switch Bundle). I got the Gold Bundle that consists of the Console, a carrying case of no more than $19.99, an 128 GB SD Card, a joystick of no more than $49.99 and 1 year of Nintendo's online service. The service was great despite the onslaught from it being Black Friday, starting on Thanksgiving. The associates were amazing. I would definitely go back for any gaming needs while I'm in the area.

Experiencia negativa: Went in to buy a PSVR set. They had a sale that came with 2 preselected games, or they had a used kit for around $100 less. I asked about the used setup and they stated it was only the headset. On top of the used kit you would need the camera and 2 controllers. Both of those additional items would bring the USED set up to the same exact price as a brand new one. I talked to the guy and he said the games in the kit can not be taken out and exchanged for 2 other games (they offer 2 different kits with different game selections but only had 1 in stock). I asked about the trade in value and they said they could take $14 off the total for the 2 brand new unopened games. I walked out and went to target and bought the same kit for cheaper.

Experiencia negativa: Horrible prices. Most of the games are claw machines. Anything other than the games and you will pay dearly to experience bowling or to play pool. The drinks are expensive and the service is subpar. Half an hour cost us 50$ just to play games and have no tickets for a reward. I recommend Play Port. 10$ ensures play for your whole stay and flow golf. The pool table accepts quarters and there is a juke box that is reasonable priced.
Experiencia fantástica: Very, very impressive place to have fun for kids or adults. It has so many diverse games to play. The escalator that takes you upstairs is fun in itself as you look to see what is up on that floor. It has a bowling alley, an eatery, and even a bar. It makes me think of a Chuck E Cheese for adults. Closer to a Dave and Buster's, but extremely modern.

People a friendly parking is easy visible from the street. But it's a young person store but it's got every kind of game every count toy for electronics nowadays going on even has some movies I mean prices are about reasonable they do have some racks of sale stuff
