Will, the associate who helped me, was efficient, patient, kept me updated and went the extra mile! Ive got to give him props for being the only employee working there at the time and dealing with Gamestop’s system issues. Really appreciate him taking the time, they dont teach that quality of service anymore.
Experiencia fantástica: Just wanted to give a review and say how pleased I was with the customer service. I purchased a warranty that would cover my controller over 2 years ago and wasn’t aware of the policy change. GameStop has to do better as a company in terms of grandfathering someone who purchased a warranty and honor that warranty instead of changing the policy and saying there’s nothing we can do. Thank you to the employee that helped me and explained the situation. Simply giving 5 stars for that employee. GameStop do better.
Experiencia negativa: The worst customer service, had the manager secretly charge me for a warranty on 3 games when I declined them, and he stated that it would be covered and free. Very shady and scummy Gamestiop location, probably the worst one I've been to.

Experiencia fantástica: It's been a long time since ive been to a Gamestop where a GA made us feel genuinely welcome. My partner and I appreciated Kiel's help. Even whilst we were looking around the store, we overheard him going above and beyond in assisting all guests. I think we found our primary store.
Experiencia negativa: WORST PRODUCT DROPS First, they didn't honor the sign/policy they had outside, limiting to 1 big item instead of 2 per person of each item, although me and some other people waited hours for them to open and, for what absolutely nothing, wasted my day wasted my time. Second, they make you have a pro membership, so really they are just trying to take every dollar they can from you and again for absolutely nothing, 1 item not 2 items like their sign said and like Gamestops policy mentions. WHY EVEN HAVE THE SIGN??? Third, as I've mentioned, an absolutely horrid product drop. They want to give everyone a chance to get an item, even when they show up just 30 mins before opening, and they just end up screwing the people who have been waiting for hours hoping to get more than 1 item like their sign mentions and policy mentions, because preorders are no longer a thing with gamestop. MANAGEMENT SUCKS. THEY DECIDED TO CHANGE THE LIMIT AT OPENING. PEOPLE CAN READ THE SIGN AND SEE THE QUANTITY PER ITEM WHY SCREW EVERYONE OVER PEOPLE KNOW WHAT THEY GET AND WHAT THEY MISS OUT ON ITS SIMPLE, SO WHY CHANGE IT??? IF I COULD I WOULD GIVE 0 STARS

Young lady have you ever heard of job security in these growing hard times? It’s enough your company has made poor business choices and then they have you.
Experiencia negativa: Bought a refurbished Xbox one controller for my pc. After around a week, I noticed the controller would randomly input button's I messaged Facebook Gamestop support, and the agent told me nothing could be done since I've had it for over a week. I was disappointed since the refurbished controller was only like 5 dollars cheaper than a new one. I had a gift card i was trying to get rid of, so i just got something of the same value.

Experiencia negativa: If I was able to give this Game Stop less than 1 star I would. I called another store asking for Street fighter 30 anniversary for the Nintendo switch. They told me that the Game Stop At University Avenue had it available. I called this Game Stop and was answered rudely. She didn’t even bother looking it up, her automatic answer was that game didn’t even exist for the Nintendo switch. I hung up the phone and called another Game Stop and was told that only this Game Stop has the game available. I called back and and they same lady answered with so much attitude and kept saying the game didn’t even exist. I decided to go to the store anyways and when I entered I found the game. Looking at other reviews, this Game Stop has terrible employees.

Experiencia negativa: My husband and I walked in looking for two things. A controller and a new game for my switch. We began to look around and were greeted but not offered help. We couldn’t find what we were looking for so my husband went to ask the ladies if they sold it and told us that we would have to look for it online somewhere. No biggie. But we shouldn’t have to be looking around so long without being approached to be offered help. The ladies were too busy talking about another coworker that was not on at the time. I would suggest worrying about your customer a little more and a little less about the new employee who may or may not be getting a promotion and what you may or may not like about this new coworker. Maybe your numbers will go up that way. Needless to say we left and went to the mission valley location to which we received the kindest of service.

Experiencia negativa: Very dishonest. I was blatantly lied to in order to make a sale. I was buying a video game, and as always they offered me to sign up for the rewards program. They told me I'd get $5 allowance each month. And that I could save it up, and use it all at once whenever I wanted. Making it seem like I could wait 3 months and have $15 saved up for my next purchase, 4 months and have $20, etc. This is a lie. After I've waited about 5 months I was thinking I'd have a good amount saved up for a game, turns out I have non. All it really is, is a $5 off coupon I get per month, and each coupon expires at the end of the month. If she would have explained this I would not have bought a pro membership. They're liars that will say anything to make a sale.

I had a defective device and I didn't have my receipt, but she went above and beyond to help me with my defective exchange and she found my receipt and even another store that had the item I was exchanging. Also, the gentleman that helped me originally was helpful as well. It seems this is a good staff. I recommend this location to anyone.

A month later the results are what they were from the day this game was purchased!!! No Refund either,what a RIP OFF...proceed with CAUTION when BUYING ANYTHING FROM THE GAME STOP located on University Avenue next to WING STOP,signed disgruntled FORMER CUSTOMER!!!

The phones were answered promptly and politely, the line was tended to in an orderly fashion and the employees were happy and helpful . Parking is always available as it’s in a large strip mall style situation. They have a small selection of gifts and accessories as well . Everything you could ask for from a GameStop.
