Experiencia fantástica: Tommy and Julie were among the kindest, most knowledgeable employees of a gaming store you could hope to encounter. This was quite possibly the best customer care I had ever experienced and I don’t just mean for a GameStop. We live a bit of a distance out in Lemoore from their store and there is even a Hanford location much closer, but I genuinely would prefer to take the drive just for the chance to chat with such great people. I could tell that if you asked the people here what they like about their job the most, a top answer would be “my coworkers”. Thank you to Tommy and Julie and even the warm greeting from Ray that made my experience worth wanting to shop there again.
Experiencia negativa: I pre-ordered Crimson Desert and they sold it. Never got a call that it was in. Went in the on the 20th the next day it was released and told me it was a distribution problem. But found out the 24th that it was in and was sold. Extremely disappointed
Experiencia negativa: It’s sad that I have to update this review this was my favorite store to go into but recently they got a new store manager I think his name is Joe I’m not sure he is originally from a Fresno store that closed (he is probably the reason it closed ) he is super rude and frankly has no reason being a store manager doesn’t know how to staff a store and I’ve heard many other regulars launch the same complaints he is going to tank this store if nothing is done about him I’ve already pulled all pre-orders and will take my business elsewhere

I recently got a Bluetooth Turtle beach mic supposedly I have “warranty” on it, So when they shipped out A preowned one the audio was so low Couldn’t hear anything so I had to go back again to GameStop for them to order me another mic and after waiting a whole week just for the mic Peace to be broken If I would’ve known, I was getting preowned mics I would’ve never gotten the warranty. Now I have to go back to GameStop for the third time and wait another week for my Mic to be shipped out do better .

Experiencia negativa: I walked into the store on 06-09-2025, with my son who was excited to spend his gift cards he had received for his birthday. Also he was looking for some pointers on how to transfer data to his new Switch. An male employee, wearing glasses, with long curly hair completely had an anxiety attack in front of my kids and rambled on why he won't touch it and won't be held responsible. I never asked him to touch it. I barely even got a few out before he had his mini meltdown. I was just wondering if I was missing a step and was hoping for some verbal guidance. We will never be returning to that location and I will not renew my membership. I'll pay online for digital downloads. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY ON GAME STOP, DINUBA BLVD, VISALIA. I'LL SEE YOU AROUND WEIRD AL YANKOVIC.

Experiencia negativa: The kid with long hair sold me a pre-order for Civ 7. I asked for steam, and the receipt said x-box, I told him it wasn't right, but he swore it was for steam. I get the activation code, but it didn't work. I check firaxis, valve, and ganestop support, and they all told me to go back to the retailer. I go back to this gamestop, and they refuse to rectify my problem and have the nerve to say it's not their fault when they SCAMMED me out of $130. Not only are they ABSOLUTELY INCOMPETENT, but they're downright ANTAGONIST. Do not come here unless you want your money STOLEN.

Experiencia negativa: We bought a defective remote controller here. We took it back within 10 days from the purchase day. They said they tested it and it worked fine. We went home, it still didn’t work. Then we went back on the 16th day from the purchase date, they told us that it has passed the exchange window. Are they purposely dragging the issue to pass the exchange period? never shop here again. The employee worked there didn’t want to help at all. He seemed happy that we couldn’t exchange the defective controller.
Experiencia negativa: Waited in line for 3 hours to get a chance at the new release of pokemon cards for my son. They open the doors and everyone gets in line, then another employee opens another register and starts helping people from the back of the line which completely screwed all of us that waited hours since there was very limited supply. We left with nothing because of this employee. Ma’am if you’re reading this say it with me “I can help THE NEXT person in line!” Was that so hard?? No standards, no honor system and brainless unhelpful employees at this store. Avoid at all costs unless you want to waste your time. Makes sense they can’t understand the concept of a line.. probably haven’t seen one since Halo launch. No wonder they’re going out of business!

Experiencia negativa: Overpriced figures, constant harassment from employees while looking at items. Found items I wanted on Amazon $10-$15 cheaper. Clearance was 30% off but the clearance was regular retail price so not really a deal at all. No wonder these stores are going out of business.
