Experiencia positiva: The store is clean and the staff is professional. I got annoyed with the speaker announcing that LAPD is monitoring the store. It seems to trigger every time someone comes in or every certain amount of minutes.
Experiencia negativa: Went there on sept 26th 2025 when I heard they were giving out a pokemon code for an exclusive shiny Pokemon, and left disappointed. Not only did I found out they gave out the codes earlier than expected, but also the staff (female) was very rude about it. When I walked in I saw two staffs a male and female talking to each other. As I approached the counter I simply asked about the Pokémon code they was giving out, and the female staff responded rudely as if I interrupted the conversation she was having with her co worker. I mentioned I was also told they were giving out the codes everyday til the deadline and the female staff once again responded rudely saying they’re not giving out any more codes.Therfore being a member with GameStop, I’ve decided when it’s time for renewal I will not renew my membership with them and I’ll take my business to Best Buy.
Experiencia negativa: Not all, but, 1 in particular, the female who was working yesterday August 26, 2025,, at around 7 pm, she has terrible customer service skills, I watched her say what's up to customers instead of , hi, what can I get for you, or, how may I help you, something like that, instead of when you walk in and as a customer, you say, " Hello", and then the employee says, what's up only and stares at you, after the employee from yesterday greeted me with what up, I finally had to say, " The Sky", when I said that, she turned pink, and said, " yeah". She seems to be a white girl who thinks she is better than some people, she is really terrible and needs training to act better than that.
Experiencia negativa: We rushed there from the airport only to find they locked up 15 mins before closing.
Experiencia negativa: Absolutely horrible experience. I went there and got a controller with the warranty. I asked the guy do I need to keep the receipt for the warranty he said no we can look it up with your phone number so I assured he had it. When I got a chance to use the controller a few days later because I'm a truck driver and it specifically for my truck, it didn't work because the left stick was stuck pointing down making it inoperable. So when I got back into town which was about 3 weeks later went to the store, now they can't find any of information including the phone number I gave. Could do absolutely nothing to help but offer me $12 dollars for the controller which felt like a slap in the face. Called customer service and they were bo help either. So I basically spent nearly $90 for a controller that I never was able to use and can't do anything with it.

Experiencia negativa: My boyfriend, Son & I spent the night camping out at this location in hopes to be first in line to purchase Pokemon cards. Around 9:30am I left to go use the bathroom with my son comfortably seated playing his Nintendo switch in 1 of 2 chairs I had brought with my boyfriend parked closely by keeping a sharp eye on my son. Around the same time I leave a man and his 1 year old son came by and informed to the manager that i wasn’t sitting in my chair around 9:30 when the manager showed up. When I come back I’m informed by Bryant the manager that I would not be able to purchase any cards for myself since I wasn’t seated in my chair at 9:30am like when was this rule established that nobody can leave? To use the bathroom at that. Isn’t my time spent camping outside the store all night enough especially if nobody was in line until 9:30am they too could have woke up early enough to beat me out my spot but instead decided to be lazy and unfair by making false claims that I wasn’t present when I was the most present. Dnt shop here if you want to be treated fairly. I pay $20 each for two pro accounts yearly for me & my son to each obtain the fair amount of card per person but I guess I did something wrong by not peeing on myself. The Manager unfairly took his kinds side in the opinion that I didn’t deserve my fair share. The man claimed the cards was for his son the 1year old but I overheard him talking to some other customers about reselling his boxes however I think he’s a streamer because it looks like he gets no sun and probably just going to vlog his self opening his packs for YouTube views. All I know is what happened to me was truly unfair and it needed to be documented.
Experiencia negativa: It's. Crazy, I got here 7 minutes after they opened and they were magically sold out of all Pokémon cards with no customers in the store. It's pretty wild.

Experiencia negativa: Did a Switch 2 preorder and was given false information on trade in values. I was told I had until the day of pickup to do the promotional extra $$$ trade in. Turns out there was a deadline and they would not honor the value. The representative I talked to in store said they were aware that they other employee had given the wrong information to MULTIPLE customers. So her mistake cost me $60, they would do nothing to make it right. I was told to call the manager, and Kevin would never get on the phone. I was told they sent an email to the district manager and they would respond if they felt necessary. Horrible customer service, seriously how do you ignore customers. Same happened at a different location in Santa Fe Springs.

He kept saying that I could only redeem credit on the app and to purchase something. I’ve been redeeming this credit for the past year and it’s weird that not all store employees know about this. This was the first time I’ve been to this store, but I usually go to the one on wilshire/Vermont.

Experiencia fantástica: I went in to go find a funko pop on a Monday at around 6:15 pm and the employee working there at the time was very social and friendly. The store was empty at the moment, so we talked a lot about Marvel superheroes which was nice to talk about with someone new.

Experiencia fantástica: As the mother of a gamer/artist, I concider this a nice, clean location. Attentive and welcoming staff. Didn't have what ever my son was looking for yet he still spent some decent time inside. They do enforce limited capacity which is very comforting to us mothers. ✍ you can probably allow your teen to take his time inside while you go ahead and start your Costco shopping which is walking distance from here. (Well for the kid to find his way over)

Takes us half an hour to skate there and when we get there the morons told us we needed an adult ID when they could’ve told us that on the phone. you guys definitely know how to do your jobs.

The dude didn’t want to look for it either, wasn’t gonna rush them either. Don’t plan on coming back to this game stop. Waste of time.

Then tried to give her my DLC code over the phone and it was wrong. All because of the manager! But it's ok when I finally went it one of the female workers gave it to me no problem. It's just that dumb manager.

Let your kids play video games. Educate them on the dangers of talking to strangers and make sure you spend quality time with them. Video games are a much safer option than running the streets! Bet?
