Experiencia negativa: WOuld give 0 stars but can't... So I loved gamestop and I will not blame this store but the company for what just happened... SO I traded my switch 1 for a switch 2. I also bought a few switch 2 games. Was told it be in in 3 days... NO problem. Well they canceled my order online... I called customer service and they said well we will give you a refund... well problem is now I have no switch to play and if I want even a switch 1 I have to buy one for about 250 dollars for when they gave me 50 dollars for because trade ins are non returnable... They wouldn't even help when I called customer service they said sorry we give you refund... well that does me no good when I have a whole bunch of games I can't play and not even a switch 1 anymore.... This is cause they ran out of stock and any system should be able to be set up to prevent this from happening... but no I get punished cause their system screwed up.... no switch for me and all these games I bought that I can't play. They weren't able to try to offer any thing to make it better except to refund me the money I spent on the switch 2. I always kept going to gamestop over amazon but now at this point I can't go to a place that screws up and then forces the customer to suffer for their mistake.

Experiencia negativa: I took my 8 year old grandson to the store to buy a pack of pokemon cards. I purchased a 10-pack of cards for $23.74. We exited the store and sat down in the food court so he could open his cards. The 10-pack of prepackaged cards only contained 8 cards. We immediately returned to the store and spoke with the gentleman who sold us the cards (less than 5 minutes after exiting the store). I asked if he could please allow us to exchange for another pack that contained the correct number of cards or if he would allow my grandson to pick 2 of the single cards they sell at no charge to make up for the shortage in the first pack we purchased. I was told that the shortage was obviously "packer error" but he could not correct the mistake since it was involving trading cards. I asked to speak to a manager. I was told that was not an option and I was referred to the customer service number on my receipt. I called customer service and was told that they could only support the decision made at the local store and that if the local store chose not to allow me to speak to a manager then they had to honor the store's decision. Obviously, GameStop's phone customer service representative's only task is to the support the bad customer service I received inside the store. I will not be going back to GameStop. I will not support a store that does not back up their products or support their customers with instore manager assistance.

Experiencia negativa: PLEASE do not get any digital copy on a receipt I recently bought a nintendo game and entered the code but it never worked I tried atlesst 30 times in different ways and wouldn't work and the receipt printer sucks it's really hard to read the code and they even said I couldn't get a refund? Even tho it says on the receipt you can get a refund even tho I haven't used it and the worker was talking nonsense saying "contact nintendo himself" that wouldn't be worth it for a 15 dollar item What I would truly recommend instead is the gift card.

Experiencia negativa: Bad customer service. I purchased a t shirt, that i ended up wanting a bigger size for, went to return the next day, was told that because i tried it on i could not return. It had all tags and was clean as i only tried for 10 seconds, as per their return policy i did nothing wrong. Had to call customer service and then they finally agreed to exchange the shirt with customer service on the line. Very rude and wasted my time for no reason.

Experiencia negativa: Would never pre-order here again told everyone they had a midnight release for Switch 2 then turned around and said “we won’t do one mall wasn’t ok on pre-orders you can pick up at 9 am next day” then proceeded to come up here numerous of us did and security guards came around saying how we were late to the release cause we were told by this store were to be.

Experiencia negativa: I called for an item and asked if they had it. I drove to the store in the rain to stand in line for 10 minutes to find out they did not have what they claimed to have. Then I was told I could order items but I had to pay shipping so the merchandise was almost twice the price. The manager even asked the employee why I was told they had it when they didn't. I am still wondering the same thing myself. Also wondering why for a wasted trip I had to pay almost double. I found the item in stock in another store and it was cheaper. I will NEVER do that again. Very unprofessional

Experiencia negativa: Would NOT recommend buying any electronic accessories from game stop in general, or the replacement warranty. Long story short I purchased a headset (RIG 600) with a 2 year warranty, months ago. The warranty was for a full replacement with another NEW pair. Gamestop recently changed their warranty policy, refuses to honor their prior policy which I paid for and will only give you a refurbished pair. What a coincidence... the refurbished pair I received doesnt work. They will not refund me my money, and "all they can do" is give me another refurbished pair or refund me the amount for a refurbished pair. Not the knew ones that I actually purchased or the money towards a warranty.

Experiencia negativa: I dont normaly right bad reviews because most people working at these places are young but they really messed up this time with our order. They put our disk in a preowned box even when it was supposed to be a new game. We contacted them to see if it was a mistake as the cost difference of new and used games is thirty dollars. They told us that they just put it in a preowned box. Do better GameStop don’t be cheap

Experiencia fantástica: Gamestop, located on the bottom floor of the Hamilton Mall, I feel is a great place for any gamer. The inventory seems more game based than merchandise based. The Pokémon selection is awesome. The customer service is consistent. Each time I go in, the associates are helpful and ask if me and or a member of my family needs assistance. Gamestop run deals regularly on Pokémon and Xbox, which I really like. I definitely recommend this location for anyone in the market.

Experiencia positiva: The employees at the Hamilton place mall are fairly knowledgeable on any questions that I may have. I must say that the majority of the time we shop at this location we are greeted and offered assistance should we need any. The only negative note that I can make is that it always smells a little unpleasant in the store. My fiance will often say we should provide them with some air fresheners as a gift.

Experiencia fantástica: Stopped in to check out their Funko selection which met expectations. Ended up leaving with a few after the staff member talked up the sale they were having. He also recommended another location where I might be able to find the others I was looking for. I won’t base my review on the prices of the items since that is what it is, but the stock was good and the staff member did his job in a friendly way.

Experiencia fantástica: Store Associate Zach gets ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ by himself!!! He went above and beyond the call of duty to rectify a simple mistake that he made. He put the wrong Nintendo Switch game in my fiancé and my bag. He called me and arranged to meet us at the Cheddar's restaurant nearby to exchange the game we actually bought with the game He accidentally put in the bag. Talk about AWESOME customer service!

Experiencia fantástica: Visited this location looking for a DS charger. They didn't have any in stock but took my name and number to let me know when some would arrive. Luca and Reed were SO helpful and didn't make me feel weird for looking for something "old" or "irrelevant." They also helped me get some games for the DS I can play when I get a charger. Thank you both for being really helpful and cool people.

Experiencia fantástica: This is a great place to stop and talk to people who genuinely care about gaming. You can ask questions about games and if they don't know they can usually get you an answer or point you towards a resource to help you find the answer. I think that they short change you considerably on trade in value but I guess you have to pay the bills and where else are you going to sell the stuff?

Experiencia fantástica: The best deals on used games I know of. This is the best bang for your gaming buck. At the end of the day they do sell new games too. However, if you really play games you're not going to need or want the game after you beat it anyway. The accept trade in games for in store credit. The also got cool swag Rick and Morty ext.. If one games the one need's GameStop in your life.
