Experiencia fantástica: One of my favorite stores in the mall, there is so much cool stuff to look at and see, and the staff are really helpful and nice. I’d recommend this as one of the best game stores in the mall!
Experiencia negativa: Just kinda miffed at the lame apparent deals that aren't really there. I came up to this sign and got excited, 5$ a shirt? Let's go. Turns out only like one of the shirts in this bin was actually a 5$ clearance shirt. The rest were "markdown" and, although the box they are physically inside of is labeled 5$, they have stickers on them with less than original price- coming closer to 15$ a piece.

She was extremely knowledgeable about all our options, attentive to the type of product we were looking for, and genuinely helpful throughout the process. She took the time to explain different warranty choices and shared information about Pro memberships without being pushy—just informative and considerate.

Experiencia negativa: Poor experience. I found a game listed at 39.99 and when brought to the counter I was told it would be 49.99. Confused, i asked them to honor the price which was met with incredible unprofessional responses. I am a pro member and have spent hundreds of dollars at gamestop. I'm blown away with all of it. Will not shop here again.
Experiencia negativa: GameStop in The Tacoma Mall are very dishonest and take advantage of kid Shoppers. Took Me All day to Undo the Legal Contract the talked my 12 yr old in to signing. After contacting they are giving me the run around

Experiencia negativa: I rarely shop at Gamestop but the blond guy with the glasses and ponytail seems to exercise a vendetta against anyone who doesn't want to get the store credit card. I was asked about it and told him I was interested, got completely iced out for the rest of the transaction and after stopping in there again he refused to talk or even look at me and his co-worker interacted with me instead. I now feel uncomfortable to ever stop in again when he's working.
Experiencia fantástica: I had a very good experience Kyleigh was very helpful I came in to purchase card sleeves for my Pokemon cards and she gave me a rundown on what is best for protecting the cards and informed me about the blooming waters set which is really nice since cards have been very hard to find I’ll definitely be coming back here
Experiencia negativa: Immediately the guy was trying to sell me some yearly plan for their service when I don't even shop there barely ever So I didn't really like that but I went with my son to the mall for his birthday and so we decided to stop in there and look for a game I ended up paying all no a total of $52 for that game even though it says it was priced for $39 at pre-owned price. I could have bought it at Walmart for brand spanking new for that same price I mean jeez. Pre owned should be discounted for real. I mean they buy people's pre-owned games for basically next to nothing so how they gonna charge the same price for the game as it sells for brand new I won't shop here again. Definitely not.

Experiencia negativa: Employees are unwelcoming and do NOT provide great customer service. They seem like they hate their job. Always an issue when using the warranty. They only warranty certain products. Will start going to another location because this one sucks.

Experiencia negativa: Liars, and Deceivers! I bought the membership (big mistake) along with the warranties on all games and I wanted to return an unused pre-owned game which was still in the eligible time frame and had the faded receipt they handed me and told me I was a day late (which was a lie learn how to use a calendar) and said they’d give me $6 for a $30 game they admittedly told me they would put back on the shelf and again sell for $30. On top of that they refused to reprint me out a copy of my original receipt. I told my son we will never shop here again life. Instead of $30 I am on a mission to get all my $124 back. They got their products back and now I will be getting all my money back they charged to my account. Should’ve followed through with your own policy now they lost 2 membership paying customers for life.
Experiencia negativa: I bought a ps5 5 minutes ago and they gave me the open box, I came back so they could exchange me for a new one, because I paid to give me a new one, not an open box, and the store wouldn't let me exchange it, I called customer service and They didn't help me. They don't know how to help in this store, don't spend your money on used things that they sell you as new, don't waste your time here. I feel robbed

Experiencia negativa: I ordered and paid for a PlayStation portal online for same-day pick up, and I called to see if I can get it but the lady it’s faster if I just come in and buy it. She advised me to cancel my online order and She said she would hold it for me, but when I get there the chubby blonde told me her coworker sold it on her lunch because she didn’t hold it like she said she would. Pure incompetence!!
Experiencia negativa: Please share this... I recently went to this location and purchased a PS5 and a series x. I then returned to trade in my series s and 3 controllers. 1 being a brand new black controller that I pulled outta series x box. Never used. They only gave me 107 dollars for the lot. Which is strange because the app said 115. Or should I say up to 115 cash. My system was dirty, at most only a light cleaning was needed. Even though I I had reservations I went with the deal. But then after I took the money I felt robbed. I stated I hate to be a stickler but I would like to reverse the deal. And was immediately greeted with disrespect. The tone the young lady spoke to me in is what a parent uses to scold their children. I'm not 1 of those crazy Karen type. But if I were that should've been the moment. Shawn handled the situation perfectly never got out of character. But his team member needs a lesson in customer service. Gamestop needs to stop robbing the people who frequent their business. Give us what the product is worth. If you're going to take the same system I just sold to you. And sell it for 50 less than brand new. giving me 96 bucks is completely wild.
Experiencia negativa: 12-6-23. Tacoma Mall Blvd Gamestop arrived there around 11:06a and it was not open. Their business hours sign stated they open at 10am so I went down to nearby Target to purchase the item. Even though this Gamestop was just down the road from me. I guess employee is lazy to be on time or quietly quiting which I then won't buy from this store ever. It's a principle of work ethics, I don't want to give my business to an establishment that doesn't bother to show up on time and waste my time.

Experiencia positiva: Was the only GameStop in the area to have the Xbox series x Forza bundle in stock. Purchase went well and the clerk didn't press me hard for ext warranty etc. Which I did buy because one it replaced the unit no matter what happened to it. Not just if the unit fails. I can drop it and get it replaced. And 2 sure why not. Support a brick and mortar store.

Experiencia negativa: So and I arrived at opening today to get our free Pokémon Go Pikachu promo card as advertised. The employee was busy reading and hardly took his face out of the book to tell us he has no idea what we are talking about. He wouldn’t look into it and said they must be gone. I searched ebay and one seller has 45 of them. Being you can only get one at a time and they are new I assume it’s an inside job. This also happened with another promo, was fed some garbage and dismissed. Moral of the story is if you want your free Pokémon promo go elsewhere.

Experiencia negativa: This used to my favorite GameStop but after this weekend, that is over. Not only did you sell me a refurbished PlayStation with a broken wireless receiver but when my boyfriend forgot to check it for a disc before packing it back up out of frustration - you stole my game and made zero offer of compensation or even explanation for my missing disc. Where did it go guys? Cause I am positive it was in that PlayStation when it got to you. 100% disappointed and never giving you my money again.

Last night during the premier of Pokémon Sword and Shield they just did such a good job of directing the lines and keeping people happy and moving. I very vaguely described my dream game, and the woman helping me directed me to Slime Rancher. Which has been the perfect game for me. I've never had a problem with anything I've bought here. 100% recommend

Wide variety of games, attire, collectibles, and other cool stuff. If you're reading this wondering if it's a good place for helpful advice on what to buy your grandchildren for their birthdays or Christmas, this Gamestop is the bees knees.

But I didn't need to know anything about it when I go into the store for anything ( there are plenty of gamers in our family) the employees here are very knowledgeable about all of the systems they sell in the store and can help you with anything. I've been very successful at Christmas and birthday parties because of this.

Experiencia negativa: The two star might be harsh since the staff is nice and helpful but I just can't forgive the practices of the company. They don't do army discounts on any of the used games which is a shame in it self. Then there are times where a new game will be cheaper than the used version. So many reasons to not like the company it self. Most of the time the employees are great just the company that needs help.
