Experiencia negativa: Smells like Subway and operates at very limited business hours compared to years back, some days closing as early as 7 or 8 pm. Crazy.

Experiencia fantástica: I recently stopped by the local GameStop in my area, the Delaware Ave, Buffalo NY location to trade in my old console for cash, and Christian was such a great employee! Not only did he accommodate me, he made me feel welcomed, informed and he was so helpful. I also got the opportunity to see him engage with other customers and his customer service is impressive and impeccable! I usually have a hard time with GameStop but this experience was refreshing! If you do stop in ask for Chris! 5 star service, I personally think he deserves a raise, or a promotion. It’s rare to find customer oriented employees who care about what their doing and are knowledgeable as well!

Experiencia negativa: Looks like a lot of reviewers agree with me that the staff is rude. Have been in there a couple times and both times walked out in a terrible mood. They really turn a fun experience into an awful one. I felt extremely uncomfortable. I told them they were being rude and by their response it seemed they get that a lot. Will actively be telling people to go elsewhere for a better experience.

Experiencia negativa: Gamestop has gone downhill so far, so fast. I tried returning an unopened console accessory 3 weeks after purchase with a receipt and because it was beyond their incredibly strict “only unopened items with receipts, 15 day return policy for accessories “ they were unable to accept it. Unable to offer store credit. Unable to take it as a trade in. It was an $80 item and the employee suggested I could sell it online and “maybe get $10 out of it since its unopened.” How ridiculous.

Experiencia negativa: Walked in their recently and was approached by associate asking "do you need some help".....Informed him "no just looking today"......Less than 5 minutes later he approaches again staying "How we doing over here".........Just informed him I was just browsing..Check your receipts because they will put coverage on a game purchase after you verbally tell them you don't want it and charging you for it....

Experiencia negativa: Not surprising that they’re closing down you call the number multiple times no one answers but you go to the store and there’s nobody there but one person doing nothing. It’s always the same person doing nothing. I called to inquire about buying a PS5. I wanted to ask a question about something they didn’t answer. I ordered from Walmart.

Experiencia negativa: Long haired employee running this store has absolutely no business in any form of customer service or retail. Rude, overbearing, and high strung were the only characteristics I could deduce from my two interactions with him. Instead of helping me with a transaction, he refused and decided to invoke a lunch break and told me to come back in an hour. Went to a different GameStop 20 minutes away and received nothing but positive vibes from the store manager Manny. Corporate, Please get your employees properly. GameStop is about community for nerds. If you take that friendliness out of the equation, it’s only a matter of time before online sales completely phase you out of the industry.

Experiencia negativa: They made me do to a completely different store to trade in an item because the item was in the package still, instead of letting take it out of the package right there. I was forced to trade in at another store!! Complete ridiculousness, mind you I traded in the item in another store STILL IN THE PACKAGE!! Pat you really need to learn how manage your store!!

Experiencia negativa: If i could give a zero I would. Ordered a game online, ready for pickup. Went to pickup and store should have been open at 11am then opened after 1pm. Went to pick up and cancel for a refund as I got it somewhere else. Long haired employee told me I had no order even though in my hand I had ready for order He told me it wasn't there. Wouldn't refund me. Then says it got canceled. It didn't. He wouldn't even provide proof of refund. You always get a receipt or email. He was also scamming customers to get extended warranties. All he did was scheme and lie to us and other customer I had to call customer service and they had to process refund. This is not how you treat a customer. I rather pay full price for a game elsewhere then ever step foot at a GameStop

Experiencia negativa: I was emailed regarding the midnight release for the Nintendo switch 2. I’ve been waiting to get one for my husband. I called this GameStop to inquire how it worked and they told me to come at midnight and there would be plenty of switches. I showed up tonight at 11 waited in the line for 2 hours watching them do a horrible job communicating with the line and as I approached being the second person in line they say there was no Nintendo’s left unless you prepaid. I wish I was informed that prepaying was an option.

Experiencia negativa: Went to this GameStop after work on 3/19 at 4:30, there was a sign on the door that said the associate was out from 3 - 3:30 pm. Went back in my car and waited a little thinking maybe he was just an hour off due to the time change? Watched multiple people try to go up to the door but it remained locked. Sat in the parking lot for over a half hour waiting for nothing. Terrible experience, need to stop coming to gamestop in general

Experiencia positiva: I frequently fo to Gamestop to buy used games for my consoles. I really like the prices especially when I can find a great game for under $10 dollars, because I will not spend anything over $10. I use the app to find out sales and to see if my local Gamestop has the games in stock. You really can't go wrong with Gamestop especially when you want to find used games cheap for modern consoles. I only regret that they don't have retro games. By that I mean from the ps3/360 era and older, but at least I can get my hands on some great deals on PS4/Xbox one games for really cheap if you know how to take advantage of their sales.

Experiencia positiva: I love this gamestop location. It's larger than most, it used to be a home away from home for me. Now, things have gone down hill. I've bought a Nintendo game and when I returned home I found no game cartridge inside, I returned to the store and a different employee from who sold it to me had to explain it was a digital game which on the case that information was covered by their price tag. That being a simple mistake I returned another time to get another game to see the store was closed at 4pm. Again I returned found the game and looked for another product, the same employee that sold me the first game was there. I was in the store with another person and he stalked us through the store, I asked him questions about a product and he lied to me about what it was so he could make the sale, as soon as we left, at about 5pm, he closed the gates and locked up the store when they are open until 8pm

Disappointing. Today I surprised my son by coming here for a new game for an exceptional day so we're both disappointed.

Experiencia negativa: I literally went here yesterday to purchase a PlayStation 4 and when I got home to plug it up it worked long enough for me to make a profile a download a few games . It’s cut off and started blinking blue on and off , once I googled a solution and ask around I found out that the blinking blue light means it’s not operational anymore . THEY SOLD ME A BROKEN GAME AND KNEW !

Experiencia negativa: Disappointed with store policy. Cut off prerelease purchases for Pokémon S/V at 3pm for a game releasing next day, when the store has a surplus in quantity. Since the store will be closed tomorrow and maybe the day after due to the storm, it seems unreasonable to limit the midnight release so arbitrarily.

Experiencia negativa: GameStop always seems to be a bit more higher than Walmart or Target during my recent visit while looking for a PlayStation 5 the salesperson told me the only way I would have a chance is to buy a GameStop rewards card which seems kind of wrong that I would have to pay for a rewards card in order to be overcharged in the first place the last time they did offer PlayStation 5 bundles only on their website the best deal $900 after doing the math seeing that I will be paying close to $700.for the PlayStation alone............ Experiencia fantástica: I took in a tone of old Xbox 360 gear, that I cleaned up fairly well, and wanted to traid in for store credit. Along with the 2 bags of returnable items, I also needed to renew my power up rewards subscription and return a warrantied headset for a new one. Not only did Vic personally take his time to help me organize and help get me the most for the pile of stuff I brought him to trade in. Vic knew what I needed, and made sure I left with the best new controller and headset possible. such nice gear I didnt even thing I could afford it.. but because of his diligent work getting the most for my trade-ins and applying that credit to the things i needed, and I ended up walking out with more money I arrived with .. Vic had a great attitude and really wanted to help .. and I greatly appreciated his help with such a huge task ... This location has gotta be your go to stop for great customer service, that goes far above and beyond any of your expectations !!
