Experiencia fantástica: Back when I had PS3 this was my go to, then I purchased a PS4 here some years ago as well. My Son likes this location cause they typically have any GS exclusive Spidey figs. Last night I had to replace a PS5 controller and the cashier was so patient and helpful.

Experiencia fantástica: Come to this location often, always excited to see what's new! James, Zeta, and all staff have been nothing but helpful anytime I'm in with my kids. Retail gigs are never not challenging but grateful for the friendly interactions anytime I come in! Zeta helped me with my last PSA submission, she was super friendly and very careful while tagging my cards which I appreciate as I'm sure I'm not the only one who deals with anxiety when submitting your cards to someone else. Appreciate what the whole crew there does and always look forward to popping in!

Experiencia negativa: Terrible experience and false advertising. I saw this price and it was the only reason I even wanted to potentially purchase an Xbox. Dude at the counter told me it was almost $700. I pointed at the tag and said dude I’m looking at a tag right now that’s 499 and he said that’s an old tag sorry can’t honor that. Then take it down. This is super lazy and 110% false advertising.

Experiencia negativa: Went in to the store yesterday and had a horrible experience. A game was advertised as $20.00 on the case. It was Tomb Raider 4-6 for the PS5 new. The manager scanned the game, informed me that it is now $30 and refused to honor the price advertised. He was okay with false and deceptive business practices. I called corporate and spoke to someone who told me he was unwilling or unable to help, to rely on the store manager for resolution to this issue and ended the call on me. Manager refused to honor the price advertised. Claimed they forgot to change the price tag after Black Friday. That would be believable, except it’s been a whole week, going on two…. Deceptive business practices from the Store on 475 E Bell Rd in Phoenix Arizona. Shame on James, and Tony who refused to help me with your corporate leadership. This store also has had three managers quit within the last year. Due to the abuse they suffer from the District Manager and Corporate management. They also have extremely high turnover rates, abusive strict manager who does not properly train the employees. Employees who are constantly breaking corporate rules too. Had to call a second time and file a corporate complaint. Will be following this review with a better business bureau one and IRS report for consumer violations. The ONLY employee who is honest, decent and actually worth keeping that store open for is Zeta. She truly is a blessing. Not once have I ever had a bad experience or bad thing to say. Always exemplary and she deserves to be treated better. She literally almost died in your store and corporate could have cared less. Everyone else? Truly disappointing. Hope it was worth it gamestop. You haven’t cared about us in years. It’s very sad considering I’ve been shopping with gamestop since 2003. Guess you won’t be getting this diehard gamers money anymore. :( PS* I have a photo with proof.

Experiencia fantástica: I stopped in yesterday to purchase a new PS5 controller for my son, and TJ provided some of the best customer service I’ve experienced at GameStop. She was knowledgeable, friendly, and engaging — and what really stood out was how she acknowledged and included my 8-year-old son in the decision-making process. She patiently showed him different controller colors side by side so he could choose the one he liked best, making the experience fun and memorable for him. To be honest, my past visits to GameStop haven’t always been as positive. Too often, employees seem distracted, uninterested, or even a bit dismissive — rarely taking the time to make eye contact or engage with customers, especially children who are often the reason parents shop there in the first place. TJ completely changed that perception. Her professionalism, patience, and genuine enthusiasm for helping customers really stood out. I truly hope GameStop recognizes her outstanding service — she represents exactly what great customer care should look like. I also hope she’s given full credit for our visit, as she absolutely earned it. Thank you, TJ, for turning an ordinary shopping trip into a great experience for both me and my son!

Experiencia negativa: Tried to return PS2 console that I payed $173 for. Was cheap plastic, junk!! Their policy on returned "used" items is unfair and downright terrible. Only have 7 days. I was late by 2 days and local store in Paradise Valley (Phoenix) would not accept return even though I explained that I was a nurse working night shift 12 hours, 3 days in a row. They could have been lenient and made an exception, but refused to help me. So I called support 800#, but got no assistance after being on hold for long time. I'm now disputing the charge. Do not purchase anything here! Buyers beware!

Experiencia negativa: It’s not exactly a great experience waiting 15 minutes in line because some scalper in his 40s wants to trade in his entire collection of graded cards. I find it hard to see a point shopping here when I could buy most games and accessories online for much cheaper. This isn’t an issue with the employees at all. I used to love shopping here but the times are changing and GameStop is not.

Experiencia negativa: Had a bad experience here. Game stop in general is more expensive than anybody else even with the Pro memeber service I would suggest staying away in general. Go to Walmart or a local game store in Phoenix Fall Out is great or 1 up. Support local. With that said they had Final Fantasy IV collection priced at 49.99 I thought oh great I had it in my cart at Wal Mart for 55. The lady rang me up and says oh actually it's 74.99 so I say why, she says im sorry I forgot to mark it back up from last week. So they added 25 bucks to the price for what reason? I can buy it any where else for 55 to 60 I guess that's what I get for being a loyal pro member. Not the ladies fault but just how crappy Game Stop has become. It is no wonder they are spiraling the drain. I am officially done giving any money to game stop.

Experiencia fantástica: I went into GameStop on Sunday afternoon Mother’s Day, and although there was no one in the store, the two customer service representatives were more than happy to inform me on the newest games and quickly gave me the money for my PS4 controller. Shout out to Connor and Tyler who were younger than I expected, but very kind, respectful and funny.

Experiencia fantástica: Took my child in to pick up a specific Ghost plushie. The Manager/Operator was awesome helping us find it in the store. So much so, that when it was located, the Manager cooperates to let my child find it first through a ‘hotter/colder’ approach. Great memory and top notch customer service.

Experiencia negativa: I found it odd that this GameStop is capitalizing on more profit for exclusive Pokemon sets that are coming out. For a CHANCE to BUY a Pokemon set, you need to bring in a card to grade for PSA. It's their store and I get it, PokeBros and scalpers ruin it for everyone and it sucks, but I don't care for grading cards, I just like to collect the pretty ones. I'd rather come early be first in line and have a limit of what everyone can buy.

Experiencia negativa: I can say that after the way I was treated, I will never return to gamestop. After purchasing call of duty modern warfare 3, I was unable to play due to an error where my game refused access to Playlist unless I purchased the game (the hard copy was in my console). I've gone through troubleshooting with xbox and activision and still doesn't work. Despite all my efforts, they refuse to give me my money back. In other words I spent 77 bucks on nothing. I need my money back gamestop.

Experiencia negativa: Review for GameStop at 475 E Bell Rd #160, Phoenix, AZ 85022: I'm appalled and deeply frustrated by the level of service I received at this GameStop location. After a helpful phone conversation with another employee , I was encouraged to come in to see if a power brick could salvage my malfunctioning Xbox. I was ready to make a purchase, one way or another,a new power brick or a new Xbox, but my experience with the self proclaimed manager, Jeremy, was nothing short of a disaster. From the outset, his demeanor was dismissive. His unwillingness to assist, excusing it with a "I don’t feel like digging through the bin with the power bricks," was a slap in the face for a customer ready to spend money. And as if this complete disregard for basic customer service wasn't enough, his audacity knew no bounds when he decided to call the police on me, merely for seeking clarity on a promise his store initially made. It's a blatant display of utter disrespect and uncalled-for behavior. I have added a photo of the self proclaimed manager “Jeremy” who is the responsible party for this encounter I have taken my grievances to GameStop's corporate level, and I urge others to think twice before setting foot in this particular store. A reprehensible encounter that leaves a dark stain on the GameStop brand.

Experiencia negativa: So I write this review begrudgingly because I wouldn’t say I had a bad experience with the store but with one particular associate. I visited this store this afternoon at about 330 or so in search of Modern Warfare 2 on PS5, I could not find it on the shelves so I approached the counter and asked the associate. He proceeded to check a drawer right below him, unfortunately there weren’t any copies. That interaction lasted all of 2 minutes approximately. I returned home and searched online at GameStop, and to my surprise the website displayed 5 brand new copies at said location available for purchase. So I decided to place my order for pickup, now I am perplexed because I placed that order at 5pm and I left that location less than 2 hours before. I close this review with a friendly warning DO NOT take their word for face value, also be wary of the lack of integrity that some of the staff displays.

Not many places will give you a buyers beware speech so I do my OWN research on products I am interested in, with an open mind on others personal experiences. The employees here know their craft and the niches that go along with them but you must have your own understanding or "knowledge" of what you are about to buy and the RETURN POLICY for electronics and other copyrighted media. When in doubt, ASK QUESTIONS! And remember, although we live in a consumer based society, you don't have to buy Everything!!!! I understand that you can't have a good day "Every Day", so I put that perspective into every experience. I don't understand the reasoning behind destroying a reputable Co because You had "a" bad experience, it's more likely that there was a misunderstanding! You are NOT entitled to anything in life!!! 100% Oh, and by the way...I made a purchase that I was pre-warned about....but I did ask about the return policy before "I" made "My decision"..... lesson learned!?!? Maybe

Experiencia negativa: Customer service here is almost non-existent, last few times in here I have ended walking out without making a purchase. Either they were too focused on a conversation that they didn't want to pause for 2 minutes to ring me up, or focused on a console trade, or one time the employee never took his eyes off of whatever they were looking at behind the counter. It doesn't hurt to say "excuse me a moment, let me get them cashed real quick and I will be right back", especially when your store starts to get busy. Don't tell me "yeah, I'll get you right now" and then turn your back on me and walk away. Don't tell me it because they only have one person working, I used to work in retail where I quite often had to work by myself and would never leave someone standing at the register and it is for this reason that I just can't stand to shop here anymore. You get better customer service from big box and online retail.

He calls up they tell him they have it for 37.99 he goes in and they said well it’s actually not 37.99 it’s 49.99 I know it’s only $12 more but the sticker right underneath the one that says 49.99 says 37.99 they literally marked it up as he went over to buy it. That’s really messed up.

Experiencia positiva: Great costumer service and the overall layout was set up properly to account for covid. Not much else to say they have they games you want a d only give you penny's for your games. But everyone knows that so nothing new there.

Experiencia fantástica: Love GAMESTOP! Traded and obtained game in like 20 minutes on Black Friday. It only took that long cuz I was trying to choose a tee shirt. They were reducednton$9.99. As I approached the cashier I espied a b/w Marvel Nick Fury for $7.97...it was a wrap!

Experiencia fantástica: I hate to admit it, but I'm a little bit of a nerd. I love going to GameStop. I just love perusing through all the fun things they have. And of course buying video games I'm sure I could probably find them cheaper somewhere else or a better selection somewhere else, but I just love going to GameStop. You guys are awesome. Experiencia fantástica: Loved the fact that you are acknowledged when you first walk in the door. Very customer friendly, personable and willing to help you in not only finding or giving you suggestions for games, but also if a game is not available there, they take the task in locating a specific game at another GameStop...AND putting it on hold so you can go & get it if needed!

Experiencia fantástica: Employees are helpful and honest. Was about to purchase an old used game that was apperently scratched so he decided not to sell it to me as to avoid a broken game. They always give out neat little bonuses with their products.

Experiencia positiva: Gamestop has some policies that are really annoying. They are required to upsell warranties, membership cards, and any other focus that month. Additionally they will encourage, even push you, to buy used instead of new. This location specifically is small but has a lot of stuff packed inside. Staff is friendly and helpful. Most of us are slowly moving away from physical media but I still come here for collectables and gaming shirts.
