Negative experience: My son (17) went in there with his 9yr brother so he could spend his gift card, associate accused my son of stealing cuz he heard him unstick his gift card from the back piece, my son emptied his pockets and everything. He was so embarrassed and offended, standing there with his little brother. Will be calling on Monday to talk to a manager.

Negative experience: I went in yesterday cause my green chroma controllers right joy con stopped working, I was told that even with the warranty I bought I can’t get the exact same controller but I can get a plain colored pre owned one.. I wasn’t told that when I bought the warranty I was told bring the box and controller back and they would give me a new one. Extremely annoying since I paid for that warranty and can’t even get the exact controller..

Negative experience: Don't bother trying to do online returns. Management tries to find any excuse to not let you return it. First, it has to be within 7 days, email proof that I received it 4 days ago. Then the Switch dock didn't come with a power supply so they wouldn't let me return it without buying a power supply.

Negative experience: You can't just go in here and buy a recent release game. They don't have any games. It doesn't make any sense.

Fantastic experience: Sergei is the epitome of excellent service. I don’t know much about the gaming world and he patiently answered all of my questions and even provided detailed sale information. This will be my first stop for all of my family’s gaming purchases going forward!

Negative experience: I have both a DS and PSP...Among other things. Gamestop no longer carries games for either console. They only carry PS 4 and 5 Wii and Swit h games. I even went to 2 different stores, as the first one was closed at 3pm!

Went in to pickup Spider-Man GOTY and trade in my base game Spider-Man, trade in value was fair enough given the sale on the GOTY edition was remarkable at $20. Note sale has since ended and I'm not sure what the original price is.

The workers have been very helpful every time I'm in there. Since gamestop acquired my beloved Thinkgeek they have a pretty good selection of nerd gifts here
