Negative experience: Been going to this store for years. New manager of the store is the reason to bring your money anywhere else. Will drive to the Westbank instead. Employees are great, manager has 0 customer service skills. UPDATE: AVOID THIS STORE. Tried again, manager is rude, unprofessional. Just overall horrible experience in this store. Sad bc you can tell the employees really are nothing like management. Gamestop, you can do better.

Negative experience: The employee behind the counter was rude to another customer while I was browsing. He came off dismissive and made the situation uncomfortable to watch. I was also charged $25 for a Pro membership that I did not ask for. It was added without clear consent, which is not acceptable. Felt deceptive even. Overall, the experience felt pushy and unprofessional. I would not recommend this location.

Negative experience: Glad I’m not the only one to come complain about the manager. Went in earlier today, my son was debating on getting something, we leave and end up coming back for it. I sent 2 teenage boys in to go grab what he wanted and the man was so incredibly rude and a complete jerk to my boys and told them what they wanted was for online sale only…. A figure that was literally in store. So I came in and he’s still rude and not helpful at all, the other guy working had to step around and help me out. Pretty mind blown by how bad this guy is at customer service …. All that while wearing a stitch shirt

Negative experience: Been shopping at GameStop for years, i frequent another location and stopped at this one today with my kid just because it’s the closest one to my house. Leon was rude as hell and dismissive to us. Like could’ve been polite or some kind but i literally had to asked to be checked out after standing at the counter for 7 minutes after he dismissed my exchange request.

Fantastic experience: Good selection of retro games ( PS2, XBOX360, PS3). N64 and Super Nintendo in display was peak! Clerks were helpful and friendly. Very good experience.

Fantastic experience: I came in the store earlier this week with a lot of stuff to trade in I came in last minute and I can't remember the guy name but he worked 01/06 Tuesday night and that following Wednesday was VERY HELPFUL. I don't even usually leave reviews but he was awesome and helped me secure a switch 2 for my son birthday. Just wanted to send this and hope he gets recognition. He told me his name but I forgot and feel bad about it.

Negative experience: The guy, Gerard, who works here has zero social awareness. The day I went in to buy a game a week or two before Christmas, he was so rude that multiple customers walked out furious while he was in the back. I almost followed suit but I thought my purchase would be over quickly. He took at least 10 minutes to check out a single game paid on a card. Later, when I had to make a return, my partner went to the store 10 past open time, 11am, and was told they were closed despite the door being open and the worker being at the counter. He was rude about asking my partner to leave and had no real answer for why the store wasn't open at opening time. My partner ended up leaving the store to drive to another location just so he could avoid dealing with Gerard anymore. I understand retail isn't a fun job, but some social skills are required even if it is a game store.

Negative experience: Beware of shopping here. They charged me a gamestop pro membership and when I asked about it, I got nothing but hey bro we'll watch out for you and this and that. I go back to ask for a refund because after thinking about it I didn't want it, the manager said no refunds. Where's the service and the help I was promised? We even dapped on it...guess it was all a lie to sell me something. Shameless

Negative experience: Went to trade in games and they charged me a gamestop pro membership without even asking if I wanted it. I noticed on the receipt and wanted to refund but they did not refund. Nothing but scammers in this place.

Negative experience: Me and my wife went to purchase a Xbox series X and when going home the Xbox would not fully start due to an error regardless of what we did to it. Cashier made it seem like it was for sure gonna break but we couldnt afford the warranty. Thanks for knowingly selling us a broken Xbox

Negative experience: Brought cards to get graded, worker was slamming and fidgeting with them like they’re a stack of poker cards before they were put in proper sleeves. Cards came back as bad grades after. Please don’t get cards graded here.

Fantastic experience: Johnny, the store manager, was absolutely fantastic!! I came in clueless, looking for a gift for my 9 year old nephew, and he immediately made me feel welcome. He took the time to ask helpful questions and shared suggestions that really helped me narrow down the perfect game, Lego Horizon Adventures. He was personable and clearly passionate about what he does. I left with the perfect gift and a great experience. Btw he loved the game! Thanks for helping me look like the coolest uncle, Johnny! Negative experience: New female staff was very rude and pushy as soon as I walked in after having a good day was originally looking to buy some funkcopops but there shelves are not organized as a collector the they are so mix matched not like the staff here are making hard to find things so they can buy it themselves I saw PS5 cameras was available in store but she lied about the amount in store and said just sold last one and she was flirting with the man as a walked in so I believe that why she was so rude and rushing me out so she can go back to flirting over working not even game are organized to company policy definitely don't recommend going till they keep things organized and treat customers better

Negative experience: Trying to make a call purchase on a gaming headset what's the price tag on it that is the correct item. I bring it to the cash register he says that the price might change due to he's changing the sticker price in the store today. The price went up $10.

Fantastic experience: We didn't have much time when we stopped in for a birthday gift, and we were pleasantly greeted and asked if we needed help finding anything. We were looking for a used copy of a switch game, which they had, and the lady helping us got it super quickly and packaged it nicely for a gift. So happy with this visit. Been there tens of times before too. It's always a great visit.

Negative experience: Absolutely terrible. Had insurance on a controller turns out you can only get refurbished versions of it which is fine, until I had to make multiple trips to the store because every refurbished controller they gave me was defected. Ended up buying a new one from Best Buy. I attached a picture of a controller you can tell is clearly defected without even playing the game.

Negative experience: New employees are being taught to cheat customers. I wanted to trade a pair of joy cons. I noticed a refurbishing fee. I ask why 7$ on each was being taken out, well the employee proceeded to tell me they are taught not to use a switch from the back to test, just put as refurb. Naw bruh if nothing is wrong with the remotes then u can’t just take 7$ and then test them before you send them out for resale. Beware of what these ppl are doing…

Fantastic experience: Had an issue with my switch lite and came in to give to see my options. A team member took their time to make sure my game was backed up and helped me replace the device. Staff even helping me out by giving me the help number for Nintendo so I can contact them to get my animal crossing island from the cloud. They were so very nice and helpful, especially when I was stressing out about everything not working properly.

Negative experience: Prices are higher than most of their competition, but they do their best to make up for it with their lackluster service. I made the mistake of doing an in-store pre-order for a collectible. There's no way to track your pre-order online and apparently they don't notify you via e-mail, call, text, or even smoke signal when the item comes in. Apparently, by giving them your money well in advance, you earn the privilege of calling the store on a weekly basis to see if the item ever arrives. Would be 1 star, but at least the employees are occasionally friendly.
