Fantastic experience: Excellent experience

Positive experience: Brilliant place for finding retro games, movies and consoles. I would definitely recommend coming here for underrated accessories too, cause they have plenty of them. Was able to find some Rock Band drums there for $70, which is less than what I would pay if I were to get a dongle-less one for $80 on ebay (not including tax and shipping). They do have to test their products though. I found the kick pedal on my drums to be broken and not work. I called them and they were friendly and gave me some places where I could find one! Overall, would recommend. Staff are friendly, they have old & new games/consoles/peripherals, and great prices.

Negative experience: Tried to return a console that I bought within the same day. I told the employee at the counter there wasn't any issues with it and I just decided that I didn’t want it anymore. They told me they couldn’t take it as a return and only wanted to give me 180 trade in on a console I just spent 500 on. What a scam!!!

Fantastic experience: They have lot of good stuff (games, vinyl, comics, collectibles of all sorts, gaming consoles, controllers, cables, and cases). It is well organized,easy to find what you're looking for and fun to browse old games.

Fantastic experience: There was an empty table by the pokemon wall section so I’m looking at the cards and the manager walks over to the table I guess to do some paperwork. I move out the way thinking he’s going to get his paper and move but no he sits down and blocks me from looking at the cards. Some of the staff is cool but most always have attitude and seem like they don’t want to be there Edit: I changed my rating from a 1* to a 5* So fast forward about a year from my previous review I decided to go into game change not expecting much but I can honestly say the lady at the counter was already so nice and helpful as soon as I walked in. I wasn’t even planning on buying anything just passing time but because the lady at the counter was so nice I decided to get a couple of Pokemon cards. Also there was another guy working who was very nice as well I would of gave game x change 100* if he would of offered me piece of his pizza

Fantastic experience: i had originally gone in and bought a game, not realizing it was for a different version of the xbox i have. came in the next day to get an exchange and miss lauren was incredibly helpful and had a lovely attitude. she's one of those people you can count on for no nonsense and correct information. i just left the store with two new games (that are right for my xbox lol), and lauren made the experience awesome. kudos to her!

Negative experience: Bad customer service, workers are rude, prices are ridiculous I brought a brand new wired ps4 controller that I have to constantly reconnect ps4 system will say do not recognize ps3 controller lol so I guess its refurbished ps3 controller they trying sell as ps4…..just buy whatever online gaming service your system offers for games don’t go here they sell vintage stuff but it’s also over priced oh yeah I also brought some X-men’s movies the box said 5.99 but the guy sold it to me for 7.99 saying it’s a misprint well how is that my fault but I wanted those for my collection so I took the screwing but I don’t think I’m ever going back here to the store in Shreveport.

Positive experience: Staff isn't friendly and act more like you're a bother than a potential sale.

Negative experience: I love shopping here but I'm about to exchange my mind on this business ask to see a 40$ game to see the condition of It and read the back and the employee asked for my ID would understand if it was a really valued item but 40$ come on no need to make things difficult lost a sale today and was planning to spend more. So this policy is not good for business.

Negative experience: Bought a switch and it's in horrible condition, pieces and chunks of plastic missing. The game I bought was also corroded. I get they are used but my 4yo has systems in better condition.

Negative experience: My daughter went to game xchange on Youree and bought a game. When she bought said game they did tell her about the 90 day return policy, but left out the part if she didn't like it, it needed to be returned in 24 hours. She bought it on 18th of February, called about returning it 2/22/24 and could she do it on 2/23/24. She was told that she could, but since she couldn't find her receipt, they would have to give her store credit. She was totally fine with that. She showed up today to exchange it, and they proceeded to tell her she couldn't because she had to return it in the 24 hour time period. Now, when she called, nothing was mentioned about this, nor was it mentioned when buying said item. She paid a total of $10.89 for the game and the manager offered her .50 or .75 for store credit. Of course she was upset and spoke to me about it. I then called to speak with the manager, and he proceeded to tell me that it was store policy and it was just out of his hands. He also told me there wasn't anyone over him that could do anything about it. I said he answered to someone, so that's who I wanted to talk to. He said he could pass on the message with my name and telephone number. So, I gave it to him, and asked for the name of the person who was going to contact me, at which point he told me he couldn't give me that information. I told him that was a lie. He could maybe not give out contact information, but he could give me a name. So, after some sleuthing, I found that Grant Wetherol owns that game x change. I also found the corporate number, which I also plan on contacting. DO NOT BUY FROM THIS STORE. THE MANAGER IS RUDE, AND ALSO BELIEVES HE HAS FINAL SAY, LIKE HE OWNS THE PLACE. I would give him zero stars if I could.

Negative experience: Buyer beware! GameXchange will sell you faulty and broken items and then keep your money. No refunds! I’ve gotten hosed by these guys three times now. They have sold me a broken game and two broken sets of AirPods including a fake pair.

Positive experience: Place to go for vintage nerd/geek related items. Primarily games but they have a decent selection of movies and TV shows. They also carry funko pops, trading cards, action figures, and nerf guns.

Positive experience: It's ok they dont give u much for your games but otherwise it's games a cheap so if u have a 50 dollar game u probably going to get 3 dollars

Negative experience: No one would check us out. So we put items back and left.

Only problem I have is that they're trade in value for most things is down right horrendous, it is always better to just buy stuff, rather than try to trade anything for store credit

Fantastic experience: Why they didn't have what I was looking for which apparently isn't even made anymore so it's more likely to be found on eBay. The staff were extremely helpful and accommodating helping us work out what we were really looking for /needing and where to find it. We ended up shopping there for some odds and ends anyway that my nephews found and we're very happy about adding to their collections. A great place to browse or go for very specific needs. Not just a game store tons of collector's items and the prices are on par with most other hobby shops. Once again though, the staff working Saturday extremely helpful and pleasant. This was our first visit there after years of living in Shreveport but it won't be our last. So I'm thankful we found out about the place.

Positive experience: It's okay...not great, but just okay. The "ginger" that works there will surely call you out for vaping ok in-store..but yet, no signage on the storefront that states said claim. No biggie. But let me tell you, trusting a store for what motto or "claim" they carry, and them upholding said claim are undoubtedly two completely different situations at this store. They are wishy-washy, they are not confident in what they are speaking to customers (or overly confident, and THAT is just egotistical), they undercut payouts (especially when the employees are not inconsistent altogether), and sometimes they just don't want to deal with people at that particular moment and just make an out of themselves in the process. STILL...they have the market and ONLY a few others have the same...so what can one do when they have their hands tied behind their backs❓

Fantastic experience: It was different to say the least but injoyaboly fun.

Negative experience: Entire staff was very rude. They treated customers poorly and lacked communication. Items in store are very overpriced. It was such a poor experience I wish I hadn’t traded in any items there. I wouldn’t recommend this specific store if you are in town. The Bossier city location treats customers much better.

Negative experience: We bought several games and a few of them were scratched up and the people who worked there tried arguing with my husband about it. Then when he couldn't find another game he wanted they would only give instore credit absolutely would not refund my husband's money that we worked hard for so we could go somewhere else to by something. That's okay they have been reported to the BBB. Will not go back for games at all.

Negative experience: I came into this establishment on 12/6/21 @ 5:30 p.m. with my wife to purchase some systems for our children. I waited patiently for the young man behind the counter to finish ringing up a lady, then he ignored me and went over to a man that was selling some game disc's. I then asked the young man if he had any ps4s to which he replied that they were authentic end of the counter. When I stepped closer to read the tags he rudly told me to get from behind the counter and I said I was trying to read the tags. He was extremely rude. I was looking to buy an I pad a ps4 and an occlusion. He cost the store a couple hundred dollars.

Negative experience: Kicked out for not wearing a mask. I can't for religious reasons.

Fantastic experience: Where something old can be something new again. This place is great for finding things you can't find elsewhere like Atari and old PS and Nintendo items. Lots of Pokémon cards as well.
