Fantastic experience: These poor people need a raise and some more employees. They are such hard workers!
Negative experience: This store completes fraudulent charges. Charged me 3 times for the same purchase and stated sometimes their scanner scans it 3 times. I went in and showed bank statements for the exact amount 3x's. I was told they couldn't do anything without a reciept. Clearly they could have looked up the purchases on the card but did not help at all.

Fantastic experience: Super friendly store. Really understand what customer needs. When I bought card from them, they notice I don’t bring a penny sleeve with me and offer to give me one to protect the cards. I usually doesn’t leave 5star review because most of store just simply accomplish their job. However this store service is beyond expectation and super friendly.
Fantastic experience: Mariah was helping a kid ahead of me and she managed to help both of us out at the same time. I was in and out with my Switch 2 in no time. She even managed to create an account for me and walk me through possible issues and instructions on how to get it resolved. Wonderful customer service skills and a very positive attitude. Negative experience: Honestly, its nothing against the employees or the way the store is ran - it's just STUPID that a brand new OLED switch is $350. Or you can get a USED one, for $330 at gamestop. What the actual hell. How is that beneficial to anybody but gamestop?
Positive experience: Promised my children a reward for getting perfect scores on their tests and needed a new mouse for my office and am partial to Razer so to Gamestop we went. The selection for the PC peripherals seemed quite lacking, especially for the popular name brand I like (I saw one Razer mouse and not the one I was looking for). My children are "stuffy" addicts and the cardboard boxes stuffed under/around a table with more stuffies on it was just awful to try and search through not to mention looks tacky. It also felt more like a "cards and comics" store not a game store which is understandable since video games are mostly digital now but there is literally a "cards and comics" store next door. I did not end up purchasing anything today but am a loyal Gamestop customer and will be back eventually.

Fantastic experience: I visited here to see if I can get pre-owned Nintendo Switch! I was welcomed by amazing staff named "Izzi" who helped me along the way for purchasing Nintendo Switch because I did not know anything about it. Izzi explained to me really well on how the product works, accessories, and other vital information about the warranty it comes with it. I was so happy and left the store with huge smile. Thanks, Izzi!
Negative experience: Waited patiently to checkout and 2 other customers were checked out instead of me, cashier just looked at me like I wasn’t right in front of him. Before that incident the female cashier, apparently off the clock, closed her cash register right after checking out a customer. Told me to wait for her co worker.
Negative experience: Naria was very rude and gave me an attitude for no apparent reason. I was just trying to complete a return and she did not help in anyway but to demand me for information that shows on my account. She also straight up ignored several people and proceeded to take her unwillingness to help on me. I will not be returning to this location for the sole purpose of running into her again.
Positive experience: These guys are the second GameStop I went to in need of assistance with a refund online GameStop didn't assist me with in time. The first GameStop was randomly closed. These guys were not. RJ was very helpful and went out of his way to ensure I had a good experience. I was able to get my refund, but apparently it couldn't just be put on a new store credit card and I needed my existing one. That sucked because it sort of forced me to buy something then and there. That said, that's not RJ's fault. Dude was great.

Fantastic experience: i don't normally wade in to these sorts of things, but I'll make an exception in this case. in regards to the recent review that falsely accuses the Gamestop manager of racism. I was there in person during the encounter where she was asked politely but firmly to leave AND COME BACK TOMORROW. key point in caps. literally not banned, just asked to return when she was more composed. Also NEVER was the term "we dont serve your kind" used. nor anything remotely similar. Utterly untrue. This is fabrication by an angry customer to get revenge for SIMPLY being asked to leave amd return the next day when she had composed herself. Nothing remotely racist was said or implied.. I would even happily testify in court if needed. I wont be responding to any rebuttals . This will be my last word on this .
Fantastic experience: I had very outstanding experience overall the staff was super friendly and extremely helpful. Pretty much single time I go there or the 5th ave site. Haven't been to the Tikahtnu GameStop yet, but I went to Dimond just recently and managed to find good couch co-op games I could play with my friends. I'm not well versed in the switch but the management was very knowledgeable and kind with listing products they have on sale and reminded me I need to update some of my information of my change of address since I stopped getting game informer mags. Can we get free demos in those like back in the day? Dimond is closer and I've been there multiple times and every time the staff knocks it out of the park! I miss returning movies and socializing like I did back when blockbuster was a thing. Please never take away GameStop. I love the Dimond GameStop but sometimes the 5th Ave has really cool props and merch like those Legend Helmets. Very clean, tidy and organized plus the staff was pretty attentive even though it was kinda busy and some shady folks came in. The Dimond mall gets some shady costumers every now and then but the staff is pretty good at checking and being tactful on all who enter. The 5th ave gets occasional homeless folks or delusional weirdos that just walk into the mall and loiter but that's at most stores there I guess, it's unfortunate we have some sad human beings with some really serious mental health issues just walking about being Karens or Kevins not fit to be a beneficial factor to society causing a ruckus just to waste everyone's time or energy being a nuisance but hopefully they can get the help they need, or maybe more security at both locations would suffice. Staff was super awesome and very professional, stores are clean, plus the sales are incredible. 10/10

Negative experience: To whoever is wondering: DO NOT GO INTO THIS GAMESTOP. WORST SERVICE! GameStop went on break 2:45 and it was supposed to be done by 3:15. An hour goes by, nothing! there are people and kids standing outside, waiting patiently and still nothing. After they had opened, I had confronted “The boss”, the one who was doing game inventory, and he had given me a LOT of attitude! i had told him and ASKED him if he could make it more clear on what time they’re coming back because it’s super unprofessional! it’s super bad for your business! and he had told me it was because of breaks and the low staff, which I understand completely, but he looked like he was the only one in charge, you would think a manager/boss would take responsibility and run the store by himself while his employees are on break. He had rolled his eyes at me and talked to me very unkind! GameStop at Dimond is unprofessional and rude.. I had to walk out. ps, do not buy a used ps4 for $400. Please just get a new one. Don’t get any of those used consoles, they charge the same as a brand new console. GameStop is money hungry. You are better off buying games and consoles at a smaller video game business store. I have never liked the service that GameStop provided, EVER. but I would always shrug it off but this time, i cant.
Negative experience: 2nd day in a row where a sign saying they would be back in 30 minutes, the sign says they will be back at 3:15 and there are a group of people waiting to get inside at 3:45. Unbelievable having employees refusing to sell to customers patient enough to wait half an hour AFTER they said they would return from a 30 break.
Fantastic experience: RJ is the man! He was quick and confident with his experience. I bought a switch 3 weeks ago. Had some problems after playing some time at home. I went into the store and asked for RJ to do a test for me. When no problems arose RJ immediately thought my surge protector or outlet was the problem. He was correct! This turned my stressed out morning right straight around. All the staff at this store has been great to me in the past. It will continue to be my first choice in town.

Negative experience: To whom it may concern Hi my name is Michael Johnson I recently went into one of your stores here in Anchorage Alaska in Anchorage Alaska at the diamond center mall. Associate who helped me. Name Hakeem Id# 498599I wanted to buy Ps 5 digital edition for $399. Upon purchasing the worker there advised me that if I do not renew my gamestop membership he cannot sell me the PS5. So I said OK. then after he added a controller saying it was part of the bundle and if I did not buy that he could not sell me the PS5 so I said fine ok. To make things worse he told me that I have to buy 1 of 2 gift cards $50 or $75 I was baffled by that why in the world would I have to buy a gift card in order to purchase a ps5. All in all the reason for the email is is I don't think that was correct nor should that be how things be done Since when do you have to have a membership to buy anything at gamestop. I only wanted a ps5 and was basically forced to Purchase other items in order to buy the playstation. If you were to look at the receipt you can see as it goes down all the attempts I said to say I didn't want this and they added it anyway Receipt or transaction number is 00318/03-117being that playstations are so hard to come by II had no choice but to purchase these other things in order to get one. This is not right and I deserve some answers to why they made me do this and if it actually is a bundle package you guys offer. Won't be going there again 0 stars if it was possible
Negative experience: you have 14 days to get a full refund when purchasing games online (no receipt needed because it’s in the system). at gamestop however you only get a partial refund even when you show them a credit statement. normally 2 days if you have a receipt. it’s almost 2023 gamestop how do you not have a system storing data for a certain period of time. Now i have to let AMEX deal with my full refund and write this bad review to prevent people from making the same mistake. i haven’t purchased a physical games in over 10 years, i have no idea why i decided to do this go around. For now only digital purchases for me.

Manager indifferently says i need to visit the store on multiple days, assuming thats not a waste of my time, effort and money. I could understand some limit to keep people from buying up all the stock for markup resale, but not allowing two!!! Needing two units for two kids for Christmas is not unreasonable. No wonder gamestop is struggling when they pass on a $700 sale. Ridiculous ridgid corporate policy.

Negative experience: Just went in today and went due to the another gamestop store telling us there were switches. Upon arrival, Spencer, told us they do have switches and that it'll just take 30 minutes to inventory it and be able to sell. We politely said ok and that we will definitely be back in 30 minutes. We arrived back at the store 20 minutes later and saw someone purchasing a switch at that time. Spencer then said "Ooo I'm sorry but we are all sold out and don't have any more." Don't listen to their employees on time. The review is solely based on Spencer.
Negative experience: I ordered a game online for pickup and got a response at 645pm order was ready. I get there at 7pm and told they are closed when the website hours shows closed at 8pm. All the guy had to do was give me the game and look at my ID. Really horrible service to wait until 15 mins to close tell me the games ready for pickup and to be turned away after getting there right when they closed. Never order from this store they are useless!!!
