Fantastic experience: Sindel was amazing! She helped find all the games we were looking for, took her time and was patient with us. Can’t say enough amazing things about her! Noa told her to care less about the customer and giving her bad advice. But she didn’t listen and actually cared and had great customer service

Negative experience: Current management like to randomly close 6 hours early.

I called dimond center to get an update on my order and they told me they didn't have access to such thing but Whoever was the man on the phone not even 5 mins ago helped me figure out my package and also let the other store figure out how to get into there system correctly

Negative experience: The staff is so slow they might as well be operating the register in a coma. Both employees were beyond lazy. Just going to buy in Amazon from now on as good help is almost impossible to get now. 30 mins and moved 5 ft.

Negative experience: Here early in the morning and had my chair outside while waiting in my car because no one is in line and stupid worker just got here and say that I will push you all the way at the end of the line when there's is literally only 3 people here. Will definitely email corporate and call them of the situation

Negative experience: Changing review to 1 star. They sold me an opened pre ordered game and then threw the game warranty on without telling me. Shady as hell.

Negative experience: My friend and I tried to stay out the night before a release as most gamestops allow. The manager came out to tell us if we were still there in the morning when the store opened we would not receive any of the new stock. We had seen the manager do this to a previous customer. As a pro member I find this approach from a manager disgusting, we are some of your most loyal Customers. Do better, I will be calling corporate as well.

Fantastic experience: Everytime I go in I get greeted with top notch customer service. Whenever I'm not sure what to get they give great recommendations. I have discovered Days Gone, Shadows of the Collosus, and Dead Island 2 from their excellent staff. Luna is a great worker who outs in the 110%. Steven is a new worker but his knowledgeable on games with good recommendations.

Negative experience: Not only do the workers and manager here not want to do their actual jobs, and entirely unhelpful, they seem to have a major attitude problem. They even went as far as basically assaulting my family on our latest visit. Entirely unprofessional and ridiculous, I will never step foot in this store again. The quality has gone so far down the drain, it’s comical.

Fantastic experience: Love this location! Christina, the store manager, has consistently gone above and beyond with customer service. Always smiling and helpful. She also had an item shipped from Wasilla and called me right when it arrived. Perfect experience. I hope she stays around.

My experience at this GameStop makes me miss the old days where people seemed to have a love working at this store. I used to be greeted with a very warm and enthusiastic welcome, but now it just seems like they want me out of the store so I can stop being a big inconvenience to the staff. What happened GameStop?

Told everyone they could pickup their game starting at 8pm and when 5+ of us arrived shortly after the store was already closed and he refused to honor the commitment. Thanks for nothing I guess.

Negative experience: So have done buisness with this company throughout the years and has never been my most favorite granted. As they tend to be over priced on their used stuff but hey its a buisness so not the worse either. However my latest experience at this location with the sales associate Brendan or Brandon Feb 1st at 4:20 pm AK time has definitely put them at the bottom. This associate had no customer service skills. I stood for 20 min while he looked over a xbox series s that someone was wanting to sale. A lengthy process. Instead of asking me if I had a quick question or anything he could help me with quickly being he had only one customer besides me and was gonna be awhile he ignored me. Yet answered the phone, looked up the caller and answered their questions. Finally after 20 minutes the customer saling the xbox declined since they only offered him 130 for his series S. I was at last asked if I could be helped. I only had a question. 2 seconds for 20 minutes. Then if you call the store you're forced to listen to advertising before giving options. So this place cares not about your time at all or customer service. Very obvious. And will go elsewhere from now one

Negative experience: Ugh... Rude clerk that looked like he was still teething asked if I was looking for anything, and got all exasperated with me when it turned out I was. Literally all I said was "Yes, do you have (such and such game)?" After a couple bored keystrokes, he seemed weirdly delighted to inform me that it wasn't in stock, and wouldn't be. Didn't even respond to me at all after I said "thank you" after buying several other games (the used prices were actually not bad, so this is doubly a pity - only reason I'd give them a star at all). Times are hard enough, and I'm never rude to anybody unless I absolutely have to be. I don't deserve this stupid garbage, and neither do you. Go somewhere else!

Negative experience: Not really proactive, wont call you even when they say they will, false advertise product. They have bunch of empty boxes on walls, when you want to buy something now, you cant. They tell you that they will order it for you, why would i want to order from store then wait? I could do that in amazon and it will be cheaper. I go to the stores to get something now to pay alaska prices. No wonder no one likes them.

Fantastic experience: Just wanted to stop in and say that this GameStop and its employees are awesome. I feel like the way they handled the Pokémon Shining Fates release shortage was great. Even though we didn’t get all of the items we pre-ordered, we still got some of them. The woman working there has the best customer service skills. She’s friendly, helpful, and just in general I can tell a great employee. The other guys that work there are good too, but the woman with the glasses stands out.

Fantastic experience: Called this local Game Stop all the way from Florida and I gotta say they are quite welcoming, charming and delightful. Ya see now I had me an issue with my tooth and they were kingly nuff to walk me through my experience from home and even put me at ease when the situation took a hornswaggling twist involving the tooth fairy and a toilet bowl. Would definitely recommend!

Negative experience: My boyfriend and I were treated so poorly by the team lead Kimberly, she accused my boyfriend of being a scalper and being rude when we wanted to make a $500+ purchase for a switch, a game, and two controllers. All because he said he didn't want to sign up for anything or add a warranty etc. Very poor management and customer service at this location.

Positive experience: Tried selling a brand new game for ps4 and of course they don't pay much.

Fantastic experience: I have never left this place disappointed. The staff is super knowledgeable and always willing to help. Kimberly helped me decide how to go about the purchase. She not only informed me all that she could, she also gave me a magazine containing an article that taught me even more than she did in the 5 minutes I was there. The rest of the staff was super friendly too! I made me super happy to meet some of my fellow female gamers :)

Fantastic experience: Update: For the last 2 years, this Gamestop has been incredible. The employees here are very awesome/professional. They really are good at what they do. After a few visits, they do a really good job of recommending things that I'd be interested in. This is definitely the best Gamestop in Anchorage 4 years ago: Horrible service. Called in to see if they had an item in stock. Was told they did and they said they would hold it for me. I told them it would take me an hour to get there, they said no problem. I get there 45 minutes later and I'm told that they just tried to call me and they sold it. What a waste of time and gas. I knew I should have stuck with the other game stops and not attempted to come here. Its always drama here. Stick with Dimond. Avoid this gamestop like the plague!!

Selling isnt worth it here as many know, sell a game or accessory for afew dollars for them to resell at almost full price. The membership is barely worth it.

Fantastic experience: My favorite location! If you need help finding a product they are there for you and will find it for you even if it's outside of their own store. They are excited about what they have and do and are honest. If you're ever frustrated with them it would definitely be something you did not research or pay attention to because they don't hide anything and do their jobs the way they are required! I drive nearly 3 times the distance to go here over the other spots.
