Negative experience: Would suggest avoiding this place. Very friendly employees but genuinely shocked at the fact they don't clean anything before they sell it. Also have it displayed on shelves hiding damages. They also only do store credit for refunds. The Xbox I bought stinks so bad even after having to open it and cleaning it because it was over heating.

Positive experience: Good store sometimes. Their trade in values are very shocking. And honestly it shows with how their inventory looks. Gamestop offered me 3 times what gamexchange offered me for an xbox 360 slim console. Will probably not be trading things in here anymore.

Negative experience: Employees gave an unusable(chipped and scratched) Wii game. Additionally I purchased an advanced warfare disc for the ps3 and they swapped the discs while I was purchasing it with a modern warfare one. Once I returned they would not give a refund.

Negative experience: This store needs to be under investigation the employee Kevin is so disrespectful and to top it off i have reason to believe he tried to skim off the top rigging the numbers in there company computer while doing a trade. The website says 30% of the value of the merchandise. My receipts say otherwise. Marking things under different prices. Shame on you. Not to mention how he cussed me out

Negative experience: Unfortunately, this place has really lost its way and is now one of the worst places (and unfortunately one of the very few in the this immediate area) to buy old, retro games, old movies, and similar items. They have gotten rid of their entire DVD collection and now only carry Blu ray and 4k. This was one of the big reasons i, and others, would visit, to try to find old cheap movies so we don't buy them online. But for some bizarre reason, they've done away with all their DVDs. Why they couldn't have put them in the corner of they were taking too much space? Who knows. They seem to be focusing their entire business model in anime, manga, action figures, toys and comics.. Instead of - oh, i don't know - GAMES... TO EXCHANGE? .. LIKE THEIR LITERAL NAME IMPLIES!?.... What a crazy idea! And the worst part about this establishment is that as far as the game portion of their business model is concerned, they go off of "whatever the online auction market value is- that's how we price our games". Therefore, if you're looking for an old game from an old console, be prepared to pay exorbitant prices because - "that's the market value of it" even if it's a 35 year old game, in TERRIBLE condition. One time I bought a game and was told the game was "supposed to be 5$ higher, but they forgot to change the sticker, but he would honor the price on the sticker" - as if I'm lucky and he's doing me a favor. Ultimately, prices are NO BETTER than you would find on eBay, Amazon, or any other place for used video games and/or consoles. So what's the point in coming here, other than the "convenience" of not waiting an extra couple of days if shipping if you buy the item online instead. Bottom line is that this store is NOT customer-oriented. Its only purpose is to make the most profits from unsuspecting customers and from people who, i suppose, don't want to wait the extra 3 days to get the items from eBay. Staff is not really friendly and most times are unhelpful and sound like you're inconveniencing them. Do not recommend coming here for serious purchases.

Fantastic experience: We stopped in here looking for Pokemon cards and my son found a couple packs he wanted. They had a large assortment of funkos, games, movies, posters, and everything gaming related. It was pretty quiet as we perused and we got checked out fairly quickly. My only complaint is the very minimal parking available.

Negative experience: Policy on bringing items back is terrible. brought a game back twenty two hours after purchase not realizing my son's ps5 did not have a disk drive. never even opened the game. would not give me my money back. store credit only. that does not. Do you a lot of good if they don't have the game you want. the workers there were nice and apologetic. but that sure did not get me my money back. i have zero incentive to ever shop here again.

Negative experience: Terrible customer service got in a argument with meager because I bought a few ps2 games most of them didn't work I brought them back the next day to get cleaned and he went on this whole rant about how they don't sell games that dirty there employees there always seem to be in a bad mood rather just buy games off ebay it's cheaper that way anyway

Negative experience: Went in recently to sell a large ps2 collection full of choice titles. As I waited for calculation I wandered around the store and to my surprise there was very little selection for sale. Lot of product but little outside many copies of sports titles. As the staff finished checking everything they made me an offer. The offer was 13.5% of the entire collections value. I can count the times I've been that shocked in my adult life on one hand. The lack of good product in store speaks for itself. I declined the generous offer and can confidently say I'll never return.

Fantastic experience: Love going in here to see what kind of selections they have in used games, movies, consoles, anime or manga. I feel like compared to gamestop the value is better and they have more of a selection

Negative experience: would not recommend, i had gone to this store because a friend of mine that had bought a ps5 controller, at full price, for a USED ps5 controller, he had given it to me because the controller was having range issues. i popped it open and sure enough the antenna was disconnected, not just disconnected but someone had clearly CUT it. i thought it was kinda strange, as if the full price for a used ps5 controller wasn't scummy enough, figured it was maybe a coincidence, but i wanted to be sure since i used to go to this place as a kid and it would be a bit sad to see them adopt these scams. so i did a little investigation and decided to buy a controller for myself. went to the store and bought a xbox series X controller and took it home. i connected it to my pc and sure enough, to my disappointment it was having connection issues. i managed to patch the wire and replace the joys with hall effect sticks and it works fine, but this is some scam. buy a controller at full price and then return it for in store credit, forcing you to buy something else, do not waste money here.

Positive experience: They had the Manga I was looking forward to adding to my collection but not the right books I needed as far as anime related playing card it's not happening they hardly ever have one piece card when I come in

RETRAINING IS NEEDED, lying, low balling and unprofessional hire people who know there stuff. I will never go back years of shopping with y’all ruined I’ll go to GameStop where they have better prices and customer service! O AND THEY DONT LIE!!!

Positive experience: This is "THE" best place ever, if you're looking for retro stuff you should go there 100%. there prices are OK. but if you're selling a console they will hardly give you anything ,I bought a Wii from them for 60$, and when I tried to trade back, it they offerd me 25$ for in-store credit, or 15$ in cash, its good for buying some stuff but not for selling, btw before you put stuff on shelf's make sure there real, I bought a funko pop for 50 dollars, just for my friend to tell me its a fake. overall its a good and fun store employees are the nices people i ever met.:)

Fantastic experience: Ine of the best Game xchanges I've ever been in!! They had a massive selection in store to browse at!!! They had tons of collectibles refurbished PC's guitars, amps, t-shirts, cards hell They just have it all! The staff were really nice and did not pester while browsing, but we're open to interaction when I had questions. The layout of the store flows well, and all sections were clearly marked for quick access. Would highly recommend people check this place out!!

There are plenty of movies and collectibles if you're looking for that sort of thing too. Staff is friendly and helpful. Thanks for another good deal and making my work trip even better!

Fantastic experience: If there was a battle between entertainmart and we've exchange, I'd want game exchange to win entertainmart's prices are a little bit out of the way now and they just feel too big for their own good. The game exchange is like the local guy. He is not local but he feels local all of the prices are reasonable and they pretty much always have what you're looking for unless it's like a game. But they have a bunch of games too. You just got to be a wary of what you want. We were not able to find many GameCube titles but that's just because they're hard to find. In general. Everybody hordes them but the anime figures are a decent price. You know everything about the place is wonderful. Skylanders are wonderful price as well. The staff is very friendly and at the end of the day I think they're just an awesome group of people and an awesome place to buy stuff so I would definitely recommend it.

We shop here almost every week and Bryant is just an awesome dude who answers all questions we have, builds conversations with us, and helps us find things we want or need. Negative experience: Don’t recommend purely because of the store manager. All the employees there are actually awesome and great. Yesterday I purchased cards and candy, I made note to an employee that he had I believe it was 5 of the same promo card all in roughly the same light play condition. I asked him does it make sense that one is priced at $3 and the others ranged upwards to $15. He looked at them and informed me he would have the manager check them out. Today I went there to purchase a card I was thinking about buying, that same employee informed me that he brought to light those promo cards to the manager and the manager asked if it was me because I am not afraid to look up pricing and inform them on what they are selling is actually going for. The manager informed the employee that they will not do business with me anymore so I couldn’t even buy the card I was there to buy today. I contacted another location and the employee there is going to get his manager to get me an email to contact corporate or customer server since there isn’t anything on the website or card to do so. I have made purchases at this location and to just say they can’t do business with me anymore simply because I point out pricing on some items is actually ridiculous. I don’t usually do reviews like this, but I’m not going to let this happen to me without talking to the actual company first. Again the employees there are actually awesome and I have had no problems with them. I will update this after I hear from corporate about this situation. EDIT 1: quick update, other locations have been amazing when I contacted them, luckily a district manager was at one of them and informed me on how to contact corporate. Will update once I hear from them!

Fantastic experience: A guy was talking to me who made me uncomfortable and a cashier from behind the counter winked at me and we continued making eye contact, referencing that she was making sure I was okay. When I walked away from the guy and ended the conversation she came over and asked me if I was okay. She was so sweet. It means a lot when people look out for other people. I was indeed uncomfortable and felt so safe that an employee was looking out for me.

Positive experience: It's one of those places you feel a bit "dirty" walking into. Not because the place is dirty, it's actually extremely clean. It just feels like a GameStop had a baby with a pawnshop and a blockbuster. They had a surprising amount of selection given how many things they carry, but it was pretty weird to see guitars and DVDs there. Prices were okay, nothing great, but not bad either. Employees were nice and clean. But between the pawnshop and GameStop vibes, and the crazy amount of DVDs it just made me feel eck.

Negative experience: We bought a PlayStation 4 from there and they couldn’t find the serial number for it in their system they wouldn’t do a return on it completely for it being messed up when I took it too GameStop they said it was an illegal serial number and it looked like it was tampered with. They wouldn’t take it back for cash but wanted to give us credit for it. Talk about poor customer service and their games too we got one and it was messed up bad that you could seriously see through it and they acted like they didn’t know . Do not buy from there this ps4 was not even a month old!!!!
