Negative experience: They are never open at all they have the lights on and 10 people come to it and they all are bummed out and it’s 5:57 rn as I’m typing this and they close AT 6:00

Negative experience: The store hours said open but some idiot put a paper sign on the door that said 30 minute break I don't know how long that sign was up but for all I know it could've been up for an hour or more

Negative experience: Had the wrong game in the case when I bought it, told me to go to a different store closer to me only to arrive there and be told that the manager called the new store and told them not to exchange it for me. When it was all said and done I spent more on gas to fix their mistake than I paid for the game I purchased, not to mention the 90+ minutes of driving to multiple stores and back

Negative experience: You can't trade in at this location. You can't spend your $5 monthly pro discount on egift cards at this location. What can you do here?

Negative experience: The employees decided despite having 2 of them working, to only have one register open that was being held up while they made a bunch of phone calls to other stores that weren't answering. 15 minutes I stood there before finally asking them to open another register so the rest of the line could get checked out. They seemed incredibly put out by this request, but finally began checking other customers out. (They were still on the phone waiting for other stores to answer by the time we got checked out. Would have still been standing in line had I not requested they open another register.) C'mon GameStop, do better.

Positive experience: The place needs cleaning up! Prices are high, especially for children ( for parents ).

Fantastic experience: My son has had a major stroke that affected his cognitive abilities, we have been to 2 different gamestops and they always treat him well taking the time needed to communicate with with him!!

Negative experience: Worst store ever they have terrible customer service door is always locked when their suppose to be opened there is a dude that works there named Isaiah who is very rude everytime I go there I will not be going to that store ever again yall blew store needs to be shut down until better workers are placed

Negative experience: I showed at at 10am today November 18 2023 to make a purchase. Store was locked up. Waited for 20 minutes before anyone showed up to open. They went inside and locked back up and did not open. I waited 10 more minutes and then left. In those 30 minutes at least 5 more possible customers showed up, check the door, got back in their car and left. I ended up making my purchase from Amazon for the same price. I am glad I had not made an online purchase with GameStop for store pickup so I could take my business elsewhere. This was my last attempt at a purchase at GameStop and when their corporate bankruptcy comes I will not be surprised as it is hard to have a business when you do not open for your potential (now lost) customers.

Negative experience: I got here at opening time 10am on a Saturday and there have been multiple people turned away from getting into GameStop because no one was in there; however, the lights were on and the tvs were on, so shouldn’t someone be in there?

Negative experience: UPDATE: Just called to see if they still had a special going on and before I could even finish my question the associate cut me off and said NO WE DONT HAVE THAT and hung up on me. 5 years later and the service is still horrible. Very frustrated with this place, me and my 5 year old waited in line to get in for 30min only to get in and let him pick out 5 different games and each time I brought them to the counter I was told they were out of stock, I’m really confused to why they would display all these games on the shelf only to tell me they don’t have them. The store lead was like yeah we haven’t had that in months, I asked why it was displayed and he shrugged and was like idk. Thanks for disappointing my son and wasting our time. Never coming back

I came by GameStop to buy PS5 so there were so many disappointed customers who did not get the chance to purchase actual console but the manager and workers interacted the customers leaving everyone visibly pleased despite the disappointment.

Negative experience: this store is very small, very limited stock. Never have what i need always end up going to Lenoir city location. The associates in the store are not helpful many of the time they're on their phone and don't engage with customers. Overall very unpleasant experience.

Negative experience: The lady in this store yelled at my husband for not wearing a mask and when he tried to explain that he couldn't breathe in them she just got more rude. I understand that we are in a pandemic but that doesn't require you to yell at a potential customer. You should learn what being a decent human being is especially in today's society.

Actually management is actually ruder than the employees..Purchased a pre-owned game and it was obvious they didn't even look at it when it came in because it would not play when I got home..Took out disc and looked and it looked like a razor had cut into it all over disc. Look at your game before you leave store because they don't.

Negative experience: Awful. Called the store in Lenoir City for Xbox one wireless adapter for PC. They tell me the parkside drive store has plenty in stock. Call the parkside dr store just incase before I drive out there. First girl that answers has no idea what I am talking about, ask to speak to someone else and he says they have not had them in stock in almost a year, they just haven't had time to fix inventory. One year is not enough time to adjust 1 sku off inventory? No wonder this company is struggling and slowly going under. Ordered off Amazon with free prime shipping instead. Atleast they still want to make money.

Positive experience: It's a GameStop, same as any other GameStop. They have a great selection of all the new games and systems, often with store-only exclusives and preorder content, a good selection of recently released used games that they took for pennies on the dollar for in-store credit, and friendly staff that are underpaid and underappreciated by an oppressive corporate structure. I appreciate their selection of toys, figures, and game brand merchandise as well.

There was only one guy manning the store (the other worker was on break) and he was amazing. Very knowledgeable. Nonaggressive Salesman. Great job! Will be making this my home store.

There is a young Asian man that works here and he is absolutely the best we stopped in there to get my son cooter a video game for his birthday and as we checked out the cashier asked who was the same for and when we said it was for Cooter he said Cooter come get your game and happy birthday it was nice to hear that he was listening to what we had to say

Positive experience: GameStop is pretty much the only place you can buy video games across any console, even the older ones. They recently added the ability for their customers to exchange or trade old devices such as tablets and phones for store credit but if you do this do not expect to get much out of your trade. Also do not expect to get much out of your trade if you were looking for cash. They will give you far less cash than they will trade value which kind of makes sense. This particular store seems to have a high turnover so I've run into the problem where there's been a long wait numerous times due to the fact that someone was training or there was only one person there. I have, however, had numerous people who were very helpful and had every question I've needed answered adequately satisfied. The store seems to be well kept and managed and seems to have different displays and things to put people into looking at Collectibles, t-shirts, mugs, Etc. Overall it's a good place to go to Trade A Game for a new game.

"Nick" with glasses and tattoos sold my little brother a toy that proceeded to break in his hand on the way to the car so when I walked back in to simply get a new toy so he would stop crying "nick" proceeded to just look and laugh at me refusing to let me get a new one. Employees ran and closed the door after their friends had been in, then proceeded to lock it and stare at us. We wrote a note for them to see when they opened the door. They then proceeded to sit in the dark and wait until we left.
